I like the cushion of the V4 a little better than the V3 but the top was a no-go, the collar uncomfortably rubbed the sides of my ankles and the toe box was not as high and too tight at the top toward the base of my toes. Keep the midsole of the V4 and add the top of the V3 and we are in business.

The uppers felt stiff and rought surprisngly. Yes there is a lot of foam. And it feels soft when you walk or run. The biggest problem however is that you feel unstable when you try to stand with the shoes on as if you are on a balance board. Standing is tiresome as a result.

I tried these shoes because I have chronic plantar fasciitis and heel spurs on both feet. They are definitely the most comfortable shoes I have ever had in my entire life! I almost can't tell that I have heel spurs when wearing them. It is just fantastic. my wife doesn't care much for the looks, but they are beautiful to me. They are slightly large with all that foam and took me a little getting used to, but that didn't take long. I absolutely love these shoes and will buy more in the future. thank you so much New Balance! I highly recommend the shoes to anyone, especially someone who has terrible feet like mine!

I use these for running on the road and I promise these shoes literally feel like you are running on pillows. My feet have gone through the ringer from starting sports like soccer in 2nd grade to playing high level division III lacrosse. If you are looking for a shoe that takes care of your feet and makes running enjoyable again these are the shoes.

First the pair I was sent was used. The inside was covered in dog hair and the insole had noticeable wear. The shoe itself was comfortable excluding the heel. I do not know if it was normal or defective, but with a slight shift in my weight to my heel, the entire heel would colapse and I would completely lose my balance. I am returning.

Super comfortable. I use them mainly as walking shoes and light running (3 miles). They feel light and responsive. They do make a bit of a slight clicking sound, but I am still breaking them in and my days as a Ninja are over.

Everything is well, however spending $150 for a pair of sneakers seems high.

This shoes is good looking but lacks both comfort and support. Too bouncy and I bent my ankle a couple of times while trying it on. What a shame I had high hopes because of the way it looks.

These shoes provided excellent comfort, I was running 2 miles a day, I am 130 pounds and I was so disappointed when the sole collapsed after having these for 3 months. The left outer heel completely collapsed so now I am out of $160

I've purchased 4E width NB running shoes for several years from a variety of sources. Regardless of what the Zappos ad specified this was not a 4E width. I could have worn these shoes for 6 months and my feet would have been uncomfortably squashed. I subsequently bought a pair of Brooks Ghost from Zappos and they fit perfectly with my insoles in. I'm not complaining about Zappos, because the return of the NBs was easy and free of difficulties. However, I would have them checked for width before they are resold as 4Es.

Like walking in the rain and the snow When there's nowhere to go When you're feeling like a part of you is dying And you're looking for the answer in her eyes You think you're gonna break up Then she says she wants to make up

I have been battling plantar for 2 years now with treatment including therapy, injections and rx insoles. I work 12hr days on my feet in health care and it's been a daily discomfort. I have been wearing Hokas religiously for the past year. My Hokas were falling apart after just a few weeks of wear, which for the price is annoying. I purchased these last minute before a trip to NYC; I knew lots of walking was to come. These are AMAZING!!! I walked a total of 45 miles in the past 4 days and yes my feet are a wee bit sore and tired (as I'd expect) but actually feel better than they did before I left!! Excellent arch support in a way that feels gentle and not forced. Plenty of room in toe box and no annoying rubbing on top of foot. Very impressive!

If you are looking for a great, soft, cushy running shoe, these are it. Accommodating upper, might be too roomy if you have very skinny feet/forefoot but fits mine just fine for normal width. True to size. You sink it some when walking or very very slow jog but it is not overly mushy where I'm fighting with the shoe to run when I go faster. The shape of midsole and outsole helps with keeping you moving for smooth transition. No hot spots or pinching in the upper, didn't experience any heel slipping with or without runners knot. And I was running through snow and rain afew times. Traction was good with wet surfaces for me. Sometimes I did have to retighten my shoe laces cuz they are thin and stretch some but not a big deal. It's very stable cuz you sit inside the midsole some and very wide base. I really enjoy them for walks(wore them for 8hrs for work-on my feet 80% of the time) and did medium distance runs. Will use once I start to ramp up for longer runs. Great purchase for me! I'm very happy with these! FYI I'm 39y/o at 6'2 195lb mid/forefoot runner

Watched a fair amount of reviews for these shoes. My conclusion after trying on in my house is that these are definitely very chunky shoes. They are light but give me Frankenstein looking feet as I do not have big ankles or calves. Very comfortable with that much fresh foam I can see why people like them. Ultimately returned because of the look they give off.

The midsole wraps up the sides of the foot. This caused a blister on the side of the inner metatarsal bone of my left foot ona 15 mile run. Otherwise the fit and comfort are great. I have put a little over 200 miles on them and the outsole rubber has worn down to the point that the shoes slide on wet pavement. This may be premature wear, or it could be that I am 6'2" and 175 lbs. Your mileage may vary.

I love these shoes but my right one squeaks with every step. It also feels a little more squishy than the left one. Did I get a bad shoe? Is that possible? Please help.

These shoes were ordered in hopes that they would lessen my plantar fasciitis heel pain when walking. While the shoes are very cushioned, they did not lessen my plantar fasciitis pain. Thus, I returned the shoes as they did not meet my specific needs.
