This shoe would have been perfect, nice arch support and great overall fit, however like so many brands these days the arch is clear back on the heel. I don't know when people started having such tiny little heels that their arch starts right under the leg bone but this seems to be the predominant fit right now. Please move the arch just a little forward.

I love the look of this shoe, nice and clean. It has very nice cushioning too. However, as a previous person stated, the insoles arch support is a bit far back towards the heel and it should be about 1/2 inch forward to lie under "any" arch. It lifts the front part of the heel a bit and makes it feel weird but overall, I like this shoe a lot.

These shoes are AMAZING! I have horrible plantar fasciitis, and this is virtually the only shoe that I can wear pain free. The insoles have just the perfect amount of arch support and soft and comforting to my aching heels. I recommend these shoes to anyone with foot pain.

I have ankle, arch and heel pain. I also have high arches and plantar fasciitis. I was excited to try a new type of shoe with the further back arch support. First impressions : these were tight and hard. I’ve worn them inside since putting them on and I’m still unsure. I experience tingling in my heels with them on. I am wondering if I need a wide-I don’t normally wear a wide. I’m sad that there are no wide options for this style on Zappos. Wides do exist on the Aetrex website. And after wearing them around inside they feel a little more cushier on my heels/feet. I do think this shoe has the most arch support in any shoe I’ve tried. I normally wear orthotics with shoes and I don’t think I’ll need one with this shoe if I keep them. I just have a feeling I will wear them outside, then find I still have pain, and I’m out $140! I’ve never bought such an a expensive shoe. I’m not sure how small in length and width they feel off, so I guessed with half a size. They are awfully tight in the toes and width of foot. I don’t think my toes are touching the edge/tip of shoe, though.

The shoes make you feel as though you are walking on air; unfortunately, the arch support is too far back towards the heal.

The size was a tiny bit tight. The real problem is the location of the arch support. It is too far back on the heel. Others had stated this but I was hoping for the best since many others said they were excellent. These shoes must have been incorrectly made, thus the large discount offered. After receiving them, my opinion is they should never have been sold. The arch support is so far off it’s absurd.

These shoes are the right fit.. took out of the box and wore them immediately. Very comfortable.

I bought this shoe in black because I have a white pair that is PERFECT for my narrow, bony, high-arch feet. I expected it to be the same, but is much tighter on my feet and are so uncomfortble that I gave up trying to wear them. I wanted to see if I could break them in but it was a lost cause and I wanted to long to return them. Expensive mistake

I ordered this exact shoe in white some time before ordering this black one. I love my Aetrex Danika in white, but I've tried and tried to wear the black and it is just NOT the same as the white. SO disappointed.

I am not an every day tennis shoe wearing person. Over the years I had to go from wearing whatever cute shoes I wanted to wear to wearing shoes that could accommodate my orthotics. I have had problems with my spine, my knees, and now my feet. I tried these shoes at work today (I am an Elementary Teacher) and now I want them in every color and style. My feet feel almost good enough to go for a fall walk even though I am scheduled to get a cortisone shot in a couple of weeks. I am a convert! Also, I have wide feet and didn’t need a wide in these because they are stretchy.

Out of the box next day walked miles in terminals of Houston airport and same at SLC airport-my feet felt great! And they are so light and stylish-LOVE these and will by in other colors.

Love these, ordered and went on a trip the next day-walked for miles in SLC airport and Dallas airport, my feet felt great and no break-in period needed. Highly recommend.

I have an very bony foot with an unusually high arch and shoes are very hard for me to find. Add to that, my feet are old and that is added to the problem. These shoes are wonderful! Normally shoes that are advertised (or reveiwed) as having excellent arch support aren't always enough for me. These are perfect and also provide excellent support and cushioning. I also have a narrow heel that is mentioned in some of the reviews, so if you don't have that, these may not work for you. Thank you to Zappos for the patience with all the orders and returns!

I needed a pair of shoes to help with my plantar fasciitis. These shoes fit the bill! Excellent arch support and cushion in the heel. I can walk comfortably in these.
