I love this jacket. I was skeptical because it feels very thin and I am really cold natured but it certainly does not disappoint. It is warm and comfortable. The sleeves are fitted at the wrist so no cold air can get in. The zippers are of the highest quality and glide up and down easily. It also is very stylish and I have received several complement. I highly recommend this jacket. It is well worth the money.

Bought for my wife big fan of Arc'teryx jackets for their elegant look.. and great construction. She loves how it looks. I do too. Perfect for NJ fall season.

Why Why Why aren't you making a hoodless jacket? I kept waiting for you to bring out some new good colors to replace my two old Atom AR jackets as they got more and more holes and stains. And now it doesn't exist. So disappointed. There are no other 'non down' jackets that are as light and warm as yours. All five of the people I got to buy the hoodless Atom AR are so bummed. You make great products...

This is my favorite coat. I wear it under a shell when I go skiing and it is amazing how warm it is. It's also great as a stand alone coat.

I have had this jacket for 1 week and its coming apart at the seams. I went to a store to tell them and was told that its normal wear and tear. Very disappointed.

I will preface with, I get cold easily! Firstly, for $350, this does not do a thing for me. It feels fine for temps in the 50s maybe 40s Fahrenheit. Second, I ordered a size small, I am 140lbs, have an athletic build, decent shoulders, and a size B cup, and the jacket felt tight in the armpit area with little room to layer. Thirdly, I ordered to APO and apparently, there is no way to return the items free of charge so I am paying to ship the jacket back. So I spent $20 to try out a $350 jacket that is a joke for winter. Make sure you're active nonstop for this jacket to keep you warm, otherwise it's useless.

Love this jacket. Its perfect for cold weather golf. Its warm without being bulky or restrictive. I can move freely. I played last week at 34 degrees with a 10mph wind. The jacket was the best !

Thicker than the regular atom hoody. I have the regular one as well. Gives you the bit of extra warmth needed. Would love better colors!

Love this one. It is always first choice pick me up during end fall / winter season here in Boston. I already have the fuchsia color from last year that I did wear / enjoyed a lot.. I got another one on black sapphire color since you never know if it will come back soon in stock.. Its expensive but so worth it. Thank you Arctyrex We do love your products.

So my husband and I waited a year for this sell out, all season, atom heavyweight hoody. The minute it came online we purchased. Its so light for packing and fits perfectly true to size. Normally a medium & thats what I ordered. Let the all season adventures begin. Mountaineering or touring city streets, perfection.

I am very happy with this jacket. Recently I wore it on a chilly hike in the rain. You could say I was testing the waterproof-ness. It was 40 degrees and this jacket kept me warm and dry. The water sits on top of the jacket but shakes off easily. Also the smoke bluff color is very nice. I got an xs, for reference in am 5 feet 4 inches and weigh 115 lb. I would probably like it more if it was a few inches longer but thats just because I like to cover my bum.

IMO, this runs a half size smaller than the Atom LT (or just Atom, as they call it now). I purchased it in L and was able to wear it longer than I could wear my Atom LTs once I started losing weight, but now I'm selling it as I've lost more weight and it's too big. I'd be in the market for a smaller size, but the colour selection is so limited and disappointing right now. It feels as though Arcteryx is moving in the direction of trendy blah colours like rust, beige, etc. Bring back blues, greens, purples, etc. This jacket isn't even offered in navy!

Just buy it! I had the LT version but found it wasnt quite warm enough for my cool weather adventures. Just spent a week hiking Sedona and Grand Canyon to test this out and it was incredible! Warm without being hot and totally wind proof. I love the green color as well. Thank you Arcteryx !!!

I bought this serve to bridge the gap between an insulated Arcteryx ski jacket and the Atom for days on a bike commute between 0-5deg. It works well for this purpose with the Beta AR shell. I also bought it to wear immediately after cross country skiing when waiting out in the cold for the bus etc for which the Atom alone was insufficient. This jacket serves well for that purpose as well. It is small enough to fit in my bag while on the trail and take out after to keep me warm. My only gripe is that the S is far too big. It runs way bigger than the Atom and my other Arcteryx jackets which are all S.

The colours of the heavyweight version are so blah and boring. I have black but wish there were more colourful options like the regular Atom. I like that this one is a little longer than the regular Atom and obviously warmer.

The Atom is a staple jacket in my collection. This will be my 4th Atom jacket. I live in Chicago, and it gets me through MOST the winter. It is light weight but very warm. It packs easily, and the quality is unmatched. I sold back two of my Atom jackets to upgrade to a new color.

Ive owned a couple of these over the years and find I rarely look at any other mid layer as an option when deciding what to wear. A great jacket for almost all conditions.

Warmer than expected! I run cold and wear multiple layers no matter what I am doing. I wear the regular Atom Hoody in the warmer months (which I love), but it was not warm enough for me in the colder months. I was concerned when unpacking that this jacket would not be warm enough either due to it being too thin, but I was wrong. The heavyweight Atom hoody is warm, and I now wear fewer layers to keep warm in the colder months.

I bought this a couple weeks ago before the cold weather started. Perfect timing. Its wind and water resistant for the cold wet winter days.
