I’m a long time fan of Keen shoes and boots, because the toe box fits my wide foot. With these boots I decided to go up half a size to 8 1/2, and I’m glad I did. I like wearing thick socks in winter, but if that makes the fit tighter it actually makes my feet colder from poor circulation. I don’t think my feet have grown (I’m 70) but rather I’m now very focused on comfort and warmth. I’m not sure how I like the side panel overlap on the outside profile; should be fine unless it starts to stick out over time. If that happens I’ll see if a shoe repair shop can tack it down somehow. I also really like the aggressive tread on the outsole to prevent slipping. At age 70, I’m all about comfort and safety!

Long-time fan of Keen footwear. Beautifully designed boot; easy to put on and take off. Great color; warm, waterproof and lightweight. I have always purchased a 9 1/2 in Keens. I ordered a pair in usual size but they are way too big, at least one-half a size. They might fit better with ultra thick socks but that is not what I prefer to wear.

My high instep made it difficult for me to put these on. For that reason I returned them.

Fit okay. I was looking for a wide toebox and these boots have it they are not fashion boots. I was also looking for boots that I could walk in for maybe half an hour and these fit that bill too.

I initially purchased the brown ones and I purchased them a 1/2 size larger due to some of the reviews. When I got them, they seemed so huge on me!!! I sent them back and then ordered the black ones in my actual size. I love them. They are sturdy and water proof. I was worried that perhaps the zipper part would let water in, but that has not been the case. They are also fashionable enough to wear out and about instead of just in muddy places!

The boots were very comfortable from the get go. Love the side zippers! The rust color is beautiful!

Large overall, but sizing down won't work because the toe box is barely wide enough at the larger size. Lots of room in the ankle and calf.

These boots are cute and seem very well made and warm, but don't have a big toe box. This is painful with a bunion and hammertoe, so I'm returning them.

Keen is the only company I have found that provides a wide enough toebox in many of its shoes and boots.

Fit was true to size and I think they would make great winter boots. Style was pure Keen and just a little too "galumphy" for me, I'm trying to find a compromise boot that's a bit more fashionable.

Heavier boot than I was expecting. Zipper hard to move at first. I thought I could wear these at work, but they are too outside and rugged looking.

I love these boots. They are comfortable and fit pretty true to size- maybe a tinge big. I wear them when I take my dogs for walks through fields and grass and puddles. My feet stay warm and dry!

They look great and I ordered 1/2 size down based on reviews. They fit perfectly.

Keen’s fit me very well. Comfortable right out of the box and very warm!

Too large for me which is unusual, I require a larger size and wide width for woman’s and usually get size 11 but 10.0 fits perfect!

Ordering and exchanging with Zappos was a breeze as usual and the boots shipped really quickly. The phone operator who helped me with my exchange even foumd a coupon to lower the cost for me. I bought my first pair of Betty boots close to 15 years ago and I probably wore them for 10. I loved them so much. Keen has tried several versions of the Betty in recent years that just did not fit me right- I have wide feet. Finally, this years version fit is just like my originals and I love them. I usually wear a 10 in Keens and these fit great. I have owned many pair of Keens and they have all been great/high quality, last forever. Highly recommend the new Betty Boot. I’m hoping these will be as warm as my originals but haven’t tested yet.

These boots are very well made. They are comfortable and stable under foot and easy to put on and take off. They also seem like they will be very warm and weatherproof!

Runs big

I brought these with me for a trip to Iceland. They are great! I hiked up a volcano in them, up and down glaciers, over black sand of Diamond Beach, rode Icelandic horses, snowmobiled Gullfoss waterfall, tread over Reykjavik sidewalks, and propped them up on several tables at pubs in Akureyri. I am getting more Keen Utility shoes.

Pleased with everything about this boot--comfort, warmth, waterproofness, height, heft, tread, quality. Works great for walking dogs in snow and slush and ice and muck, but not too bulky, and look perfectly nice. Plenty of room for my wide toe box, even with very thick wool socks. (I wear size 9 in other Keens, and fit generously in these size 9s.)

Roomy enough for heavy socks but snug enough not to slip with regular weight socks. Haven’t tested them in the snow yet but they are great for urban hiking around the neighborhood

The boots are warm, comfortable, water-proof, and great for walking in winter. I especially like the tread, which feels just like that on my Keen hiking boots. Other than the zippers being a bit stiff, these are a great pair of boots.

Nice boots. Realized I have an earlier version of them that were stashed away, so returning these ????????

I wear size 8, but ordered 8-1/2 to try. They are comfortable with a heavier sock. They are very warm for winter weather, and have very good traction. I like the zippers for ease putting on and off.

Love these boots! No breaking in needed, I took a 3 mile walk and these boots fit perfect. I bought a 2nd pair of a different color.
