I love my Keen hiking boots. But they say they are waterproof, and they are not! Where you see the webbing, water seeps through, and my socks are so wet, I can wring them out. And this is just from walking on wet grass. So, if you do not need them waterproof, these are wonderful boots.

I usually love Keen's footwear. Unfortunately, I could barely squeeze my feet into these boots as the tongue of the boots couldn't open up enough for my foot to fit in comfortably. Once my foot was in, the fit was perfect. Just not enough give in the opening of the boot. Sending them back!

Great boot! I bought 2 pairs of cheaper hiking boots last year, and they are going to Goodwill. Only Keens for me.
One caveat. If you have a high instep, you will need a shoe horn. But once they are on, these babies are freaking awesome.

Amazing quality boot. Took only 2-3 short (2-5mi) hikes before they felt comfortable and had no hot spots. They are very durable with great traction - went through Zebra Slot Canyon in Escalante, UT in these and it did not harm them one bit. Also did a 19mi hike through Grand Canyon and my feet felt fine after - would not be able to say that about most boots. Very impressed.

Agree with prior review. Opening too small to get foot inside. No give anywhere.
Returning.
I'll keep wearing my old keen boots (10+ years) until I find suitable replacement

The fit is great and though I haven’t hiked a long distance in them, they’re excellent so far.

These boots are great. They are lightweight, easy to get off and on and they are so comfortable since day 1.

Excellent waterproof shoe! Comfortable, much easier to lace than my last pair of hikers.

Fit great. Comfortable. Seem to be waterproof. Like the top hook that keeps boot from untying

Keen boots always fit well. They are my go to hiking/work boots. The top eyelet on this style is made to keep the laces from slipping.

As with many shoes/boots, size worked perfectly as far a Length, but Width is too Wide...even with heavy boot-socks. Wish the option of A Width were available!

I have had too many of beloved Keens have their soles detach. In Alaska,. we have no cobblers ( shoe fixers). Many bouts with super glue, Flex Seal, rubber cement. , shoe Goo, . . whatever . I haven't worn them enough to know how they will hold up.
I bought my first pair of Keens at the REI "Attic" in Anchorage. I absolutely L0VED THEM. I was a high school art teacher. . . always on my feet. SOOOO comfortable. Then the sole separated. I kept them any way. . . many attempts at keeping tje soles on. Then, about 5 years later, I found another pair in tne REI Attic. Both pairs were "slides". Same thing happened. I glue, super glued, silicone etc. I kept that pair, too. I bought 2 more pairs from Keen. . . and sent them pictures of my Keen slides, I was still wearing. The sole was. gone, but I wore them as garden shoes. I still have one of my original pairs.
I also have two pairs I bought that are now "starting to lose their soles, too. ". I have 3 pairs of hiking boots, (Keens) that I love. The soles are fine. But love the slides. I wish they would make them again. And many of my friends feel the same way.

Too stiff around the ankle. There were solid stable shoes, but I could tell within 20 minutes of wearing them around the house that they would annoy me if I wore them too long.

Hello, Ive read a lot of opinions about these shoes, especially the negative ones. I own the Circadia Low, which I mainly wear in the city and for everyday use. They are great for all regular surfaces. Although they arent particularly fashionable, they are perfect for my feet. When winter came, I was bothered by the draft on my ankles in the low shoes. So, I decided to buy the Keen Circadia Mid, mainly for comfort in the city during the colder months. When I took them out of the box, they were quite stiff, and after my first walk, they were uncomfortable around my ankles. Now I realize this was due to how they were stored in the box. I placed a jar inside them overnight and tied the laces. The next day, I was able to put them on comfortably and walk without any issues. I should also mention that I wore one pair of thin socks and on top of that, woolen socks for hiking boots. The socks make a big difference. The shoes are of good quality and will please anyone looking for shoes with plenty of room for toes.

I really enjoyed the profile, neutral base color, hard sole, and easy hooks when putting on. The toe box however was too narrow, especially after wearing them all day when feet tend to swell.
I am in between sizes technically, so sizing up would give me a tiny bit wider toe box, so that might be worth a try. Especially because these shoes seemed to do well in holding the ankle in place.

The fit is great, my feet seem to love these shoes. Can't wait for Spring to arrive so I can put them to the test and go hiking in the mountains!
