This is my second pair of SpeedCross 6 shoes. They are very supportive and function well. I especially like the quick lacing system. Very easy to use and my shoes stay tight on my feet. The traction and grub is great. The only issue I have is the rubber bottom wears out quicker than I am used to.

Been through nearly every model of the speedcross over the last many years, and this is a great revamp. Fit feels similar, the sole is still the grippiest and gives the best footing, but this shoe is noticeably lighter than the previous model. It's my go to shoe for trail running, alpine scambles, approaches, etc.

Grip on these speedcross 2 wide are great, I think the (wide) is where most if not all the shoes should be. The heel has great impact protection, the front also but good do with abit more in the front half of the sole. greta idea with the pocket to hide the draw pull.

A nice update from the SC5, definitely worth paying for this upgrade. Love the slightly lower lugs, same great traction with better stability and a nice wide footbed that is very comfortable. Just bought my second pair.

Brought these as a replacement for my saucony peregrine and right out of the box ran a 13.1 up the mountain with a 3000 ft elevation change on some pretty rocky terrain, the shoes performed perfectly tons of grip and zero discomfort. Compared to my peregrine they are better in every way they fit on the narrow side but I prefer that in my trail shoe I feel that it adds more stability. All in all the perfect trail shoe so far!!!

These are now my 6th pair of speedcross and are the only brand that I return to without fail. This time I'm opted to try the wide fit as I have always had to buy a whole size larger than I am in the regular due to how narrow they are. Even going smaller, these are a perfect fit, just with more room for my toes. I haven't done a lot in them, just a few very wet and muddy trail races through peat bog and rivers! but as always they have been super grippy and my confidence to tackle the dirty stuff has remained high at all times. Only thing I'd like is more choice of colours in the wide fit. But over all would highly recommend.

Well-built, shockingly light, great sole. I exercise in them in my home gym, and hike up & down steep mountains in them.

I'd say the best trail running/ hiking shoe ever. I've tried other brands but these have always been my go to. The grip and cushioning on rocks a dirt is amazing. I won't be using any other shoes for my hiking ever again.

Exactly what I was looking for, Wore this on several hikes in Utah and the lightweight comfort is unmatched in any shoe before it.

Completed 1000km on my latest Speedcross6. I'm a soft landing runner. Foam is still in good shape. But the tread is not 70% gone. These show tighten up easily and stay that way. Water drains from them very quickly. Very durable shoe. I've owned 4 sets of Speedcross shoes now. Will not hesitate to purchase more.

I wear these as my go to whatever shoes and love them. I thought the lace system would be annoying but I wish all my shoes had this! They fit great and look for card to purchasing another pair in a different color to supplement this pair. Highly recommend this shoe without hesitation.

I can't say enough good about the Solomon SC platform, which I have trusted as my primary shoe for 15 plus years. The speed cross six are not exception to the incremental and thoughtful improvements made with each successive model. Unfortunately for me the price is increased significantly with the popularity of trail running and the Solomon product, but in my opinion there is no need to try another shoe because these are essentially the best that current technology offers. The shoe is well cushioned and protective, yet highly responsive, I run pretty hard and get roughly 300 to 500 mi on the shoe before any breakdown in cushioning. Traction, fit, durability are incredible. There is no comparison between the durability of an SC shoe and a brand like Nike, Asics, Adidas, etc. for a true trail runner. These are a true Neutral shoe, great wear for a softer rubber compound shoe that hooks up in any condition of trail.

They fit right and the speed lace is great. I would put these on and go out for a trail run right out of the box they just feel amazing on my feet. The traction on the shoe is super on all kinds of terrain. I have been a loyal customer of Salomon Speed Cross from 3,4,5,and now 6.

At 6'5" /250lbs I find most reviews for gear are not valid because they are written by reviewers or shorter and lighter. I would classify myself as a hiker and trail jogger. I wear these shoes around the house, to the store, and on daily 1 to 3 mile trips around the lake in varied terrain and conditions including gravel, dirt trails and mixed. They are very light, very comfortable, great traction, and give a feel for what's under your foot. They don't collect mud or gravel in the soles. And for a big person, the cushioning in the soles hold up, which is not the case with some other shoes that have gaps through the cushioning that compress and won't return to their normal shape after three weeks of use.

i would say these are by far the best trail shoes i have ever used. with that being said they have there place to be used i wouldn't recommend using these on and type of trail that's paved or a hard packed trail no need also be very careful if the trail your on has wood these are very slippery on wet wood. very good for mud and soft dirt hill climbing.

Bought this for trail running for Finnish summer/autumn. Great for rock, mud, wet and other more technical. Good thing is that one can trust the grip of the shoe. Works well in all kind of weather but gets better when weather gets worse. Quick lace does not loose even on longer runs. This series is notably lighter than previous and cushion seems to be a bit harder. Still is ok to run even on gravel.

I bought this pair about a month ago and they fit nice and snug on my feet, without being too tight. They are very comfortable to wear for all day walking, hiking, running. I bought these to replace my aging pair of SPEEDCROSS 5's which I wore everywhere until the sole wore out down. These feel the same as my old SPEEDCROSS 5's and I expect to be wearing these until they wear out.

I bought my first pair 6 years ago and wore them until there was a hole through the sole. Was very disappointed at first when I found they were out of stock but was notified when they were back in stock.
