Love this show and have worn them, through each new phase, only catch, the sizing is not consistent. But fantastic show otherwise.

Purchased these specifically for my first Ragnar trail race. They gave me the traction needed on the trails, even in mud. I crossed several creeks and my feet stayed dry.

I prefer a stiffer sole for hiking and my last pair seem to have a little more arch support

Good fitting out of the box. Nice design. I have narrow feet and they are slightly more wide that I need, but excellent so far.

This sneaker fits well, is true to size, offers stability on trails and is waterproof. I think this is my fourth pair.

Converted to a Salomon wearer! My husband and I love to hike and with every shoe Ive bought Ive always had issues with traction. So when looking for a shoe, knowing that I was going to tackle the trails in Kauai, I needed something that was suitable for all the elements, specifically mud. These shoes did not disappoint! They held up in steep terrain and muddy conditions. We crossed rivers, and even went swimming at the bottom of a waterfall. I was especially pleased that there were no hotspots. I typically wear a size 7 1/2 and found that the shoes were a little bit roomy. If I wouldve had time before our trip, I would have purchased a size 7 just for comparison. Little did I know that my husband also purchased a pair of Salomons before our trip. He was equally as pleased with his shoes as I was with mine! #lifers We would 100% recommend!

I love these Speed Cross 6 Gore Tex shoes. They are very stable on rocks and dirt terrain. I love the speed laces. They clean up well, and look great on my feet. The only downside is that the Gore Tex stiffens the shoe more, making it less flexible on my left bunyan, causing some discomfort. Other than that, it is a great pair of shoes.

I only buy Salomon trail running sneakers. Theyre wonderful. Though I miss the colors of my originals. Purple with turquoise tread.

Per my Sister: I love these shoes. I wear them to hike, walking to work, and theyre perfect for the soggy days in New York. I was introduced to Salomon in 2016 with the XA Pro, and my Brother still has a pair of boots that he wears from 2012. I stopped buying $50-$150 sneakers that lasted me a few months to a year and now I only buy Salomon. Ive even golfed in my Speedcross GTX. Best shoes ever!

These are my first pair of Salomon shoes. The fit is one size smaller than other sneakers and trail hiking shoes... I normally wear a size 8 but am wearing a size 7 in this shoe... very comfortably I might add. Feel awesome on grass and dirt but a little strange on regular paved roads which is thankfully a short sprint to the park. So far really like them and would definitely recommend!

This is my second pair of Speedcross 6, but my first time buying a Gortex running shoe. I train on trails in the early mornings, typically passing through quite a bit of high wet grass and shrubs and finally decided that enjoying dry feet on those runs was worth whatever I might have to compromise in ventilation. It was a good call! A month later I still get gitty at the feeling of dry socks when I know they should be soaked. The heat buildup is not an issue really, at least when the environment is properly matched. I did wear them on a travel day for lack of having another clean pair of kicks and they were too sweaty, but it was out of context and I definitely don't fault the shoes. They are very comfortable, easy to put on and take off and feel secure on my foot while running, providing the stability and traction I need on the trail in all kinds of conditions. I also really like the look. The colors are great and they hide their dirtiness well, which my last pair (light green) definitely did not do! Having a pair of shoes that I like generally boosts my motivation in those dark hours of the morning when my subconscious mind is scanning for an excuse to not head out on the run. Everything helps! I'm looking forward to some marathon length trail events with them later this year.

Got these for Christmas, absolutely love the fit, feel, and grip. But the laces are backwards. The pocket should be on the outside not the inside of them!!!

I love everything about this shoe, well-tested over 1,000+ kms (Camino Francs and its prep), except for one tiny thing: Please, please, PLEASE add a heel loop for pulling on shoes and for utility hanging to dry on a backpack. Collapsing and restoring the back of heel entry point countless times destroys its integrity while the rest of the shoe is incredibly durable. Otherwise, PERFECTION!

This shoe fits my foot perfectly, comfortable with good support. Love the non-tie enclosure. Its my go-to waterproof trail walking shoe and Im very happy with it. My 3rd pair over the years and I hope Salomon keeps it in the lineup.

Put them in a bucket of water before I tried them. I'm not thrilled with the white toe or the laces, but I mainly wanted waterproof. I think the will be good. I've been breaking them in slowly.

This is my 3rd pair of speed cross. I use them for hiking. (Not trail running). I ordered them and received them on a Friday. Tried them on and walked around the yard, and Monday hiked to The summit of Mt Washington. The fit and feel Are very natural In my feet.

I recently did a Tough Mudder and these shoes proved exceptional! I was watching the other participants run through the muck & mud and they were slipping & sliding all over the place-I was not! I even exclaimed, out loud, at one point, best shoes ever! Of course when I got home, they were completely encased in muck in mud, but I got them super clean just using my outdoor hose and they are back to practically being brand new! Id like to add as well that I did not need to break these shoes in. From the moment I put them on, they fit great.

This trail runner would have TEN STARS if that was an option. It is my second pair, I ADORED my first pair which lasted me 2 YEARS of daily trail trekking with my 96# Spinone Italiano. I live in New Mexico and run in dry rocky terrain, some packed dirt trails, and also upper alpine country with water, mud, snow melt meadows filled with glorious flowers...I hope you get the idea. They grip when needed, no sliding on the chunky rocks. They are light weight (I am a 59 year old runner) and support my foot with just enough comfort and cushion, my knees are happy, my hips are happy...they are WONDERFUL
