My second pair. As expected, true to size, comfortable, and trail ready.

Five days a week I hit the trails. The only shoe I will use are the Speedcross 6, Gore-Tex. The attributes that set these shoes apart are: - ultralight. - fit, wraps around the foot nicely - speed lace, for me a surprise, nice system - quick and secure - quality, expect to last for many miles - hoping 2K - gore-tex. been through enough puddles to confirm, no water bleed through. This is a comfy shoe and keeps you dry! Most of the trails In VT are flowing water in the spring time so I love them!! If they had a vibram sole they would be perfect. They are really slippery on wet rocks.

My first couple of Spartan Races I watched as people ran past me in 6 inches of mud while I slipped and slide tip-toeing around wondering how. And then I got my first pair of Speed Cross, and that's why! I have owned easily 10 pairs since. These shoes are amazing and it's like having dirt bike tires on your feet.

Yes I have the SCross 5 and I was hoping for the best - in my eyes they did it!!!! And I am hard to please in this area - the lugs are holding together and no seams have come apart and they truly are waterproof. Salomon's truly are great shoes!!!!

I have the speedcross 5 and wanted to see if the 6 Gore-Tex lived up to the expectations I put on them and so far they absolutely did!! Very comfy and wear is solid - meaning all seams and lugs etc are not wearing out too quick or have been uncomfortable in anyway

Long way from US to EC. Finally I got them. I love my speedcross 6 GTX. The size is perfect for my feet, they are really light weight. The soles are like truck wheels, I feel like I can hike any mountain with them. I just have to prove them on a real trekking adventure.

Love them. Perfect for every application I use them for.

I've owned 2 pair of the speed cross 5 and one pair of the speed cross 6 the fit and arch support are unmatched . I wear a pair almost every day for work or play . My oldest pair is several years old and are now smooth on the bottom they still work great for yard work. I'm now in the process of buying a new pair and looking at another pair with Gortex.

I've been using Solomon hikers exclusively for years now and they never disappoint. These are my first trail runners and they fit exact as expected. Solomon shoes do fit narrow feet snuggly so keep that in mind. The cushioning provided good protection. The grip is amazing as I was hiking very steep muddy hills with no slipping at all.Quick Lace system is the best feature I think. Just pull evenly and it stays fixed all day. It's definitely 100% water proof too. Paired this with my Solomon gaiters and I'm good to go!!

These shoes are replacing my last pair of the same model. The quality and comfort are as expected. The only thing I noticed that was different was that I had to go up one size from the last purchase. I discovered this in store luckily so it didn't entail a return. The light weight brings great pleasure!

A definite and refined improvement from the previous model!!!

Basically ran 50K on packed snow covered trails outside of Fairbanks Alaska. Wore these shoes with a few hours of wearing them break in time. They were comfortable, fit well and no hot spots. Thanks!

Hands down best shoe I've ever owned. Most comfortable too. This is the second pair of Salomon's that I own and both fit and feel amazing. I'll only own Salomon's from now on. Well done.

I've had the speed cross for about a month. Very comfortable and good fit. They provide great traction on loose material but a bit slippery on rocks or solid surfaces, especially when damp. I also have the Solomon Ultra x 04. Over the past 6 months, I have really abused them and they have held up better than many other shoes. I expect similar performance from the speedcross.
