I got his set because it had the old iron man helmet mold. But I was surprised at how good the mech was. (given it is a bit difficult to articulate at some angles) I am missing a piece. but not one too necessary in the build. I hated how many stickers were in this one. they were so hard to align.

This build was different than most of the robot style builds i have done. It is chunky in every way you would want. It matches how the suit in the iron man movie was shown. I love how it moves a little less free as it feels like it matches. The only thing i dont like is the pieces that make the rockets. I have always liked to display and am scared i will lose pieces whenever i play with it, but i know a lot of people love having something interactive. Other than that personal preference this was a great set!

Liked the glow in the dark arc reactor on Iron Monger

Wasn't a fan of mechs, however really getting into Marvel so thought I'd give this a chance. Fun little build that really works well in the Avengers themed part of my lego city.

This iron man set has caused nothing but problems since the initial build. As other reviews have mentioned, the build is so fragile and unstable. As an adult, I cannot even manipulate this lego without the toes and fingers falling off. Nothing is secure and this is not lego quality at all. Very disappointed. Wish I could return but we threw away the box. If you want a set that you can actually play with, id skip this one. This lego set is only good for sitting on a shelf and never touching unfortunately.

I did not really like this set. I did not like it because the mech was really hard to build and the legs don't move very well. I don't really like how the arms are built either or attached. I like mechs most of the time but I found that this one was harder to move its arms and legs. The minifgures are the best part of the set because it includes Iron man Pepper Potts and Obidah Stane which are exclusive minifgures to this set

I purchased this for my son for Christmas. We have really enjoyed building Lego creator sets over the past two years, but this was the first of these type of sets we tried. It is rated 9+ but it was extremely fiddly. It just didn't seem to build at all well. The arms and legs kept breaking off when trying to attach other bits. It was incredibly frustrating. We gave up in the end. Luckily we have purchased the Ninjago City Gardens and so hopefully that will improve out mood!
