This product's predecessor, the Charged Escape 3, had a nice roomy toe box. I thought this feature would be continued on the Charged Escape 4 as this is the shoe's most redeeming feature. Sadly not. Under Armour went back to a cramped uncomfortable toe box in this shoe. I could feel my toes being scrunched together. Just to make sure I wasn't dreaming this, I brought out a pair of brand new Charged Escape 3 shoes I have in the closet for when my current ones wear out. I put on the brand new Charged Escape 3. Plenty of room. Put on the Charged Escape 4 and my big toe was pressing against the front side and my forefoot was hanging over the outsole. Very, very disappointing. I don't have wide feet. My feet are borderline narrow, but I like having room for my feet to splay out in the front of the shoe, not be crammed up. Anyways, if you want a roomy toe box, better track down some now discontinued Charged Escape 3 shoes or some barefoot type shoe. Hopefully the Charged Escape 5 will bring back the roomy toe box. Otherwise I have no idea what differentiates this shoe from any of the thousands of other running shoes.

First time buying UA shoes. First impressions- after one 5-mile walk....good fit, good support. Will be back with an update once I have a few more miles in these.

Three words to describe my Charged Escape 4 athletic shoes. 1. Charged. These shoes charged up my confidence to ask out the divorcee on the elliptical machine at my gym. 2. Escape. These bad boys helped me escape the divorcee’s duplex after I spent the night (schwing) and discovered she had thirty two cats. 3. The number “4”. I now walk to work after the crazy-divorcee-stalker slashed all 4 of my tires on my Chevelle. These Charged Escape 4 athletic trainers are the perfect “circle of life” shoes. Low confidence boy puts on shoes…now confident boy asks divorcee out…boys takes divorcee in Chevrelle to Waffle House…boy scores in back seat of Chevelle…boy scores again on 1980s waterbed…boy meets lots of mangy cats…boy fears for his life….boy receives lots of hang-ups on radio shack phone…boy loses tires to divorcee kitchen knife…boy walks in rainstorm to work wondering if three minutes of pleasure was worth it…boy throws caution to wind and asks another divorcee on an incumbent bike out this time to Outback Steakhouse. Yes, I would recommend these shoes!!!

Really supportive, fit perfectly even with orthotics. If like last pair, held up for 1 year with heavy use. Good value for the wear I get out of them.

I walk on concrete floors 10-12 hours a day and these provided great relief.

very comfortable. i wear 11 nike, but AU bought 11.5 and fitted well. so buy 0.5 size bigger.
