I've had this coat for 2 seasons now, going on to its 3rd. Great coat that I find very warm and very lightweight for how warm it is. Love that it is also Goretex and waterproof as I have used this in heavy rain and the water just beads right off. I'm 173cm and the Medium fits well. Hood is roomy, but not overly. Great when it's raining hard.

Just received my Therme Parka and couldn't be more pleased; the fit and details are amazing. This coat is very light weight but warm. I'm 6'3" 190 lbs and the Large is a perfect fit. I would highly recommend this parka.

I'd been thinking of a longer coat for urban and cold weather general use for a while. Didn't love last year's colours but this year with the black sapphire the colour is spot on. The Therme parka is just right for warmth so far, with enough room for even a suit jacket, yet great over a sweater or mid layers. I haev lots of Arc'teryx jackets and the Therme fits as a true regular M. I'm 6'2", 40" chest, 34" waist and the Medium is perfect. It has an internal pocket, quite roomy for an iphone 12 mini in its case. The hand pockets are great, and have good zips. I didn't fancy the Therme SV without an internal pocket and no zips on the hand pockets. Looking forward to trying it in proper winter weather! Very pleased so far.

I bought this jacket in an Amsterdam store and it felt great. However, after the 1st time I wore it I realized that the sizing is a bit off. I am 188cm, athletic build and wear L all the way. Across all similar brands. However, this jacket feels so loose and sleeves so long that besides all the great materials and premium finishing, it was an annoyance after a few hours wearing it. I checked the size guidelines and realized that this not exactly L and that the gap between M and L is so huge that L is more like L-XL. I am not sure what the what the company's idea behind is but I assume it can alienate quite a lot of their loyal customer base.

Good parka jacket, excelent insulation and outer fabrick with CTX layers. There is only one mistake with the form of the jacket. I am rather tall and well build, no stomach, so the XXl fits well .The problem is the coat hem where there is no way to control the size of it,no rubber bands with locks, what should be that this jacket would be perfect. In could weather -20 C and below the freezind wind comes in from back. This would be avoided by the possibility of the control the size of the hem. m surpriced that this is not the case . m going to the lokal tailor who would do that to my jacket, there is good space in the hem for inconspicuous placement of the rubber bands .Hopefully the designer will take this to his or her plan of the next generation Therme Parka.

I bought this a year ago. Overall I love it. The quality down layering inside feels great is very warm. My only complaint is that the pockets don't insulate your hands. My Cerium hoodie and Atom jackets are also great and they have pockets that keep my hands warm. On this coat there is only the shell over my hands and they get very very cold. I don't want to always have to have gloves on if going for a walk in cold weather, I prefer to tuck my hands in my pocket but that doesn't work on this otherwise fantastic coat.

Bought this on impulse and as a smarter alternative to my collection of more traditional down 'puffa' jackets. 6'1" & 215lbs this jacket in XL fits perfectly with room for layers - love the style; perfect for watching football during the middle of the season during UK winters (rain and cold). My only reason for not giving 5 stars - the zip! Not only is the puller on the 'wrong' side for men its tiny and difficult to locate, pretty much impossible with gloves on etc. Other than that its a stylish, warm and comfortable jacket . . .

I am 197cm and 115kg and I am an XL in just about all Arc'Teryx purchases. I duly bought the revised version in XL but it was huge on me and not very flattering (it seems to have deviated from its original design philosophy). Reviews say to downsize, so I bought a L. This seemed to fit better, but just too tight across the chest and the proportions went from a coat to a jacket. Having returned these, I managed to find an old Therme, prior to revision (I.e 2021 model) and the fit is spot on which is like in-between a revised XL and L. Plus the silhouette is more technical/ sleek - how I imagined the revised model should of fitted. Plus it feels more durable and a bit warmer. For me the old Therme is not perfect and it has flaws which the newer model has tried to address but the sizing issue on the new Therme is a significant hindrance. In Summary, the old Therme feels closer to a 'masterpiece' whilst the revised version feels like a work in progress.

I tried on the 2020 Therme in XL which seemed to fit quite well, although the sleeves seemed a tad short. The main issue was I thought it would be too warm for the UK. I purchased the 2022 Therme in XL and whilst the sleeves are better and the parka should breath better with reduced Coreloft and work well in the UK, the sizing seemed odd. I am a 197cm and 115kg and I am a XL in everything (Atom, Radsten) but this coat in XL seems huge and vastly different to the 2020 model. I am a 46 inch chest and your size guide says XL but it seems a bit big and I may need to size down to a large. It is a great coat but sizing is confusing.

I bought this jacket looking for a single piece to wear around in the winter, rather than laying my typical gear, around town. Also a "less technical" look. For that it seems to be able to do the job well. Ultimately however I chose to return it, as even an XS was very large with a lot of room underneath the jacket. I am 5'6 130lbs. I own a fair bit of Arcteryx XS product, most of which fits fairly well, so keep this in mind when purchasing to maybe size down. I don't know if perhaps the idea was to wear multiple layers underneath this jacket, which would justify the additional size. Anyway, I returned it and will look elsewhere for a slimmer cut parka-style jacket.

In 2018 I bought a Camosun and loved that jacket but I found it wasn't ideal for wearing over a suit to work since it's a slim fit and not really thigh length. The Therme Parka in my opinion is pretty equivalent in terms of warmth in that it's great at sub 50 degrees but anything bellow 20 degrees I personally would start to layer. The front pocket is small, but it works for me since I have an iPhone Mini. The side pockets are large, soft, and warm. The two way zipper is a tad tricky to get a handle on but is high quality. If the Camsoun was slim fit the Therme Parka is regular fit if not a tad loose in the mid sections and arms. The internal cuff gaskets are also much looser on the Therme Parka which is nice when wearing a suit or if you have a large watch on. I am 5'5" and in both jackets I take a XS. The Gore-Tex is defiantly softer thus quieter than the Camosun but ha the same great waterproofing. My biggest qualm about the Therme Parka is the hood is non removable and there isn't any midsection/waist adjustment via draw string. Other than that a pretty awesome jacket.

Overall the jacket looks great and is very light for its warmth. For some reason Arcteryx likes to make its hoods ginormous. I get it for mountain climbing helmet stuff, but for an urban piece like this? It's way too big and flops over my eyes.

The size is larger than expected. I have never problem with sizes when it comes to outwears but this time it is at least one size larger for me. It is not a significant problem but still it looks a bit off. In the beginning I thought they sent the wrong size.

I bought this along with the Mammut Photics Thermo Parka as a replacement for my old heavy down Schott USA military issue Thule base jacket mostly used for long walks in winter (not made anymore unfortunately). The intention was to have a parka that could also be used for work in the city in cold weather and also in 0 dgree weather with icy rain made me go for the goretex feature,(my shabby old Down parka wont do for that). The Arcteryx therme is clearly the most stylish of the two jackets (as informal work outerwear) and thats why I bought it. But I cant beleive it has the same cuin fill power as the Mammut Photics which it does according to the description. (750 cuin). It surprisingly cold being marketed as very warm. I returned it, stylsh though it was, it was not warm enough. Stylish but not warm enough below -5. I wanted something that could manage up to -20 with layers underneath ofcourse.

Basic parka, seems like it has all the qualities I wanted however this piece is huge. I'm 5'7" 160# 38" chest and usually wear Small for a fitted look (like the Cerium). This easily fits like a large. Depending on how you like your coat to fit, I recommend 2 sizes down while others have recommended 1 size down if you like to layer a bunch which I do not.

I really, really, really wanted to love this jacket. I purchased the Bitters colour and loved the fact it was down with a Gore-Tex shell, smart enough to wear to work and casual enough for everyday wear. Pros: I really loved the minimalist look of this jacket, and thought that the pockets were very well placed. I used the hand pockets for, you guessed it, my hands, and the chest pocket for my phone and keys. It would have been nice if the hand pockets had insulation on the outside, but my hands never really got cold in them so it wasn't a big deal (I live in Vancouver, so perhaps in colder conditions, I would have noticed). The build quality was also excellent, and the wind and rain-proofing of the jacket worked just as you'd expect. The jacket is also super quiet which is nice, and generally just a super comfortable piece to wear. Unfortunately, there were too many cons with this jacket. First off, the fit is pretty dreadful. I'm 6'4, athletic build and for reference, I wear an Atom XL and a Thorium L. I tried on the Large, and I was completely swimming in. The torso area was huge, and it made me look obese. I settled on the Medium, which suited me better, but the shoulder ended up being way too tight. I'm used to Arcteryx's slimmer fit, but this fit more like a Patagonia product, which for me is just way too boxy and not what I'm after. In terms of warmth, I was also pretty disappointed. There is no way to cinch the bottom, so I found even in Vancouver, where it is usually around 5C, if I had this on over a shirt, it would be drafty and not warm enough. From what I can see online, they reduced the amount of down in this year's model, primarily so they could bring out the SV model, which makes sense, but I think this jacket would benefit from increased down. I would say my Thorium was significantly warmer. The part of the jacket that touches the chin was also slightly uncomfortable. Overall, I'm really hoping next year's model has a more athletic fit and more down. I think this could be the perfect jacket, but it just needs a few improvements.

Amazing style, quality materials and very light, but unfortunately not that warm and sizing is odd. The mid section is large which lets the heat out. Im 6'0", 175 lbs and bought the medium. Also there is no draw string at the bottom to help keep heat in. This coat is fine at or above freezing, but anything below and I was cold. I unfortunately had to return. I really hope that next years model addresses some of these issues - which I see others also have had.

181cm / 77Kg It fits great over the shoulders but it is oversized at the belly. It does not keep the heat inside. I wish you could make a Slim Fit version of this one. Great parka but very disappointed with the size.

I like the parka but I hate the pockets of this parka much more. The pockets are not insulated, so small and weirdly designed in a way that your hands will definitely be cold in it, not functional at all. I read people complaining about the zipper which I definitely understand but the pockets for me were a deal breaker and I can not recommend this parka for this reason.

I like everything about this parka except for the zipper. It is difficult and frustrating to get the two sides of the zipper to engage. Without a functional zipper the coat is not easily useable. I'm disappointed. I'm sorry to say that I would not recommend this parka to a friend.

I love this jacket and it would have been perfect for the temptation now in the UK. But the zipper had broke, and through the warranty sent it in to Arcteryx to be fixed. On the 18th October they sent me an email in Norwegian, letting me know to send it to Norway. I did so and the package arrived over a month ago, which i had to pay for! Arcteryx emailed to let me know they had received it and would reply in between 1-2 weeks to let me know what would be done. It has now been 4 weeks, i have emailed several times with no reply, and it as almost as if they have forgotten they even have my jacket. Mid December, im starting to wish we weren't snowed under for xmas. However i cannot fault the jacket, it was just a shame the customer service was not up to the same quality!

I bought a size medium after studying Arc's size chart. Oops. This parka runs very oversized in the body. If I could take it in by at least 10cm across the mid back it would perhaps fit me. In every other way it would serve my needs very nicely. I'm returning but i hesitate to order a small. Online purchasing can be too much of a hassle. For reference i'm 178cm and 72 kg and lean to average in build.

I bought the Therme Parka in XS size. Quality/design seems great but it's still too big (from the chest to the waist). Bought a Veilance Monitor Down jacket three years ago in XS size and that fits perfectly. So I don't understand the sizing. Unfortunately, I have to return the Therme as it's just too loose fitting.
