For years I have bought many pairs of Teva arrowwood shoes. They wore very well, fit me extremely well, and held up well under rugged hiking conditions. I tried a pair of the Riva RP. They were some of the worst shoes I have ever worn in my life. They hurt my feet. Next I bought a pair of Grandview GTX Low. They are barely OK. It's hard to believe they are Teva shoes. Maybe it's the fact that they were made in China and not in Vietnam. I feel very betrayed because Teva is not making the quality of shoes I have come to expect over the years. Right now I'm on my way to REI to try some different brand of shoes. The arrowwood model shoes were the best shoes I have had as an adult. I have a pair of handmade Italian dress shoes . The arrow would shoes fit and wear as comfortable as these Italian shoes. I know you guys can do better.

This is a great shoe that fits my feet perfectly. I was looking for a real shoe after a wasted summer trying to transition to barefoot shoes. I appreciate the wide toe box with room for my toes to splay naturally, a lower heel drop that doesn't make me feel like I'm walking in stilettos, and arch support that stays out of my way but is there if I need it. This is also a stable shoe that I can stand in for hours and has a good grip on most terrain. I have used this shoe throughout the winter in wet conditions and my feet have stayed perfectly dry. In these shoes, I can feel my foot muscles working as they should and my proper foot posture being maintained while giving me all the protection I could want. This and the Ridgeview (which seems to have been built on the same last with the same mid- and out-sole) are the most well balanced shoes I have ever worn.

I use these as my everyday shoes and for light trail hiking. The lace/heel adjustment offers various fit options. Lace it tight and you have a very secure heel hold, lace it a bit looser and the shoe turns into a slip on.

Plan to use for daily walks on concrete and packed paths. Wish the insole had more cushion similar to my SoftStep inserts.

Teva sandals are some of the most comfortable things I’ve put on my feet. I decided to try a pair of their shoes. They hit my arch really well. I’m totally satisfied.

Could not be happier with these shoes. Stylish but most importantly, super super comfortable. Not inexpensive, but to me totally worth the price!

I have difficult time because one foot is larger than the other. Womens medium width not wide enough so went to mens and took a few tries to find correct size. I think I found the perfect shoe and am anxious to have now that weather is turning sloppy.

Actually, this is my husband's 2nd pair from Teva and he loves the comfort. Definitely waterproof is what he needs to walk the dog in the early morning. These shoes are perfect!

I'm training for a rim-to-rim hike of the Grand Canyon, and this shoe really fits the bill. Sturdy, grippy on gravel and rock, the shoes cinch down well and withstand good elevation changes without creating any blister hotspots. Thumbs-up, Teva!

Bought for the hubby who has issues with ankle height boots. Great soles, seems to be a sturdy boot over the rocks. Big test to still come on the next hike.

Good for hiking in the woods or around town. The big toe box makes it a comfortable shoe.

The first pair wore out after six years. I got black this time and I like them. The fit is perfect, and no breaking in required. I don't know why the straps latch on to the laces. That is a new feature that is annoying because they come off. Four instead of five stars as a result.

My husband only will wear Teva sandals. When it came time to buy a new pair of sneakers he looked at what Teva had to offer. The style is great and made very well. He is going through the "break in " stage. They're comfortable but will take some adjustment. All in all he is very pleased with these sneakers.

I've worn them a couple of times and they are very comfortable for walking around. The laces are difficult to keep tied and they are a bit heavy for a low style shoe. I like them and I'll take them on my trip for hikes and casual outings.

Wish they fit!! Way too narrow for wife feet. Reviews said "widest toe box" . Maybe for narrow feet not even close for EE feet. Wwaaayyy too narrow for EEE Feet. Wide toe box and all. Like I said they looked really nice, just too narrow

Close, but no cigar…
Finally, shoe manufacturers (besides Altra and Topo) begin to design shoes with room for people with five toes, and Teva nailed every aspect of this shoe except for one. There is absolutely no heel pocket in this shoe. If the transition from your Achilles to the bottom of your heel looks like a plank of wood, then perhaps this is your Gore-Tex day hiker. Everyone else will need to pack moleskin for the friction blisters.
Manufacturers, ballerina shoes belong on stage not the trail.
