The bungee laces are not really adjustable across the front of the foot. You pull it snug but there is no where for the extra bungee to go. The bungee is connected/secured to the side of the boot and does not allow the excess bungee to pull through to the heel of the boot like I thought it would go. They seem like they would be comfortable, but I will be returning them and looking at another style.

Hiked 5.5 miles in the Cuyahoga National park, through creeks, rockbeds, mud, brush and steep hills. These boots were made well, kept my feet warm and dry. Perfect!

I bought these the day I left for a trip to London in January. I didn't realize how cold it was there and I ended up wearing them every day!!! I put in my own inserts which were a little more substantial and had no problem! Worked great for all our outdoor touring including Bath, Stone Henge Museums, and more! I loved them so much when I came home I ordered a second pair! I'm 70 yes old!

I really like the style and color, and they are very comfortable like all of my Merrell's. I like that I can easily slip them on. It is strange, as others have commented, that you can't adjust the front part of the lace. I don't really need to, but would make sense to have that option.

I should have believed the other reviews and not purchased these. The cord laces are sewn in in a way that makes it impossible to snug up. I thought I could fix it by picking 1 set of stitches. The one spot where it should not be stitched is where they joined the stretch cord. First failure with Merrell product but WOW what a failure.

Other reviews scared me but I went ahead and purchased as I needed easy shoes to slip on and off while on our family ski trip in Colorado. These shoes did not disappoint they were easy to get on and off, warm, and comfortable which was amazing after taking off ski boots! I never had to loosen or tighten the "laces" I wear size 7 and they are true to size even with a little bit thicker sock, which was almost not necessary as the shoes keep your feet plenty warm and dry!

I was concerned about ordering these after reading multiple comments of dissatisfaction with the lacing system. They're a slip-on, which means you don't really even have to adjust the laces. They fit perfectly, don't need adjustment, the laces are perfect and they're great for walking my dogs in Canadian snow. Excellent traction, very warm and easy to get on and off.

Walking the streets of Paris. Typical 40ish degree gray, drizzley winter day in the city. Feet were warm, comfortable and dry. Climbed the sand dune in SW France Dune Du Pilat. Got through the sand, climbed to the top and hardly had any sand in the shoes!!! They are definitely a good buy.

I bought the Bravada boots right before one of the worst storms of the season that started with rain changed to freezing rain then eventually snow. The ice buildup was very hard to scrape off my windshield not to mention walk on. I felt safe with my boots on even though I still had to use caution.

Great for walking & all types of weather! Walked all over Paris, Disneyland and Spain! So comfortable and stayed dry during rain. Very satisfied with my purchase! I had packed a second pair of shoes but ended up only wearing these as they were so comfortable.

Great to walk in the snow packed area no slipping goes to the gym and market very happy with the shoes

Got these for Black Friday and was apprehensive based on reviews. These are excellent. Comfortable, warm, easy to get on and off. Not as adjustable as they appear, the laces are simply styling details - which are necessary. I don't need to adjust my leather Chelsea boots and I don't need to adjust these. I love these and wear them probably too often. Warm, waterproof, easy on and off, comfortable.

I had to return these because they were a tiny bit too short for my regular size 9

I just bought these 3 days ago & I LOVE THEM.. You cannot wear fluffy socks with them, I tried and couldn't get them on *maybe if you ordered a size up* they are warm & comfortable - I wear a size 7.5 & that's what I purchased and the fit is sweet. I thought they would be snug on top of the foot or around the toes, but they are not! The bunji is just for looks, you can tighten them around your heal, but no other place will get tight. I will be purchasing them again
