I know it's crazy BUT I got these going into the summer! I wanted a "work" boot that would last year round, from walking around in wet grass fixing sprinklers to ankle deep in snow removal. I was intrigued with the description about the tread staying supple even in cold temperatures for better traction. AND MOAB's always fit my foot great w/the arch in just the right spot!

I loved the quality. Please keep in mind that they run a little smaller so a size 9 feels more like an 8.

Right out of the box they looked nice and well made. I then swapped out the insoles for my custom made ones then put on and laced up. Upon standing up they had a nice improved feel to them, different than my old ones that are comfy but worn and no longer have the new sole feel. I have not yet tried them out on the trail yet but hope to soon! So far I am pleased with them and as in anything time will tell.

Great boots. I read electric meters and have to walk over various terrains, wet lawns and surfaces. At the end of my shift my feet are still dry. The comfort level of this pair is unbelievable. It's like walking on clouds.

Prior to this winter I had never owned Thermal Hiking shoes - these made such a difference while exploring the Canadian Rockies in the snow! So happy to have a comfortable and warm pair of shoes keeping me active!

I bought these boots for a snowy, icy trip to Iceland and Norway. They just had a warm spell, so the sidewalks and roads really did not have snow or much ice. I did wear them for 7 hours outside in 32 degree or less weather to watch ski races and for walking around 12,000 - 19,000 steps a day for a week. These were the only shoes I brought. I do wish I had brought a pair of sneakers though. - I bought size 10, even though size 9 would fit and I was glad since I needed to wear thick, long socks with these boots. I had worn thinner wool socks to my hair dressers when it was 35 degrees outside, and my toes had been freezing in the boots. With warm, thick socks, my feet were fine sitting outside for 6 hours in freezing weather. - These boots were incredible. I had broken my little toe before I left but the rigid sole and extra room in the toe box allowed me to walk in comfort even with the thicker sock. - These boots have really a great cushion since we walked on the streets all day and in muddy conditions and over small areas of ice. The bottoms of my feet never hurt with my thick socks. I even wore them through TSA security. I wore knee socks that were made of a thick, padded nylon material. - The soles seemed to have good traction. We had to walk up a mountain for 20 minutes and then later downhill with only gravel covering the path and ice. The sole seemed to grip the land a bit and didn't feel slippery. - Shoelaces felt good and rugged. As a tip, if I leaned my foot forward, and then wound the laces around the metai clasps, it gave enough room for my ankle and foot to move comfortably without feeling too tight around my ankle. - I got the boots in black and at least they looked good enough to go to some nice restaurants.

I love my new Moab 3 boots. Straight out of the box they were comfortable like I'd worn them forever. I walk my dog about 2 miles everyday and these boots have kept my feet comfy, warm and dry. Great support too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair when I wear these out!

These were perfect for February in Iceland. Super warm and waterproof, but not too hot when on buses. Perfectly comfortable from the get go. For ice you will still need at least those pull on rubber and small spikes our tour guide offered. Love this color cause its good with black pants and leggings, doesn't scream hiking boot for going out at night. I ordered a very on sale Eddie Bauer boot last year and thought it would work but when trying it before I left it was pinching the top of my foot. Got these Merrill's a few weeks before we left. Worth the price. You can never go wrong with Merrill's.

Very nice, comfortable boots. I usually buy a 7 but did buy a 7.5 to use a thicker sock for the colder months here in the mid-West. Fits great and held up well in the snow and slush.

I used these to snowshoe in Santa Fe. They are warm, extremely comfortable, have great grip in snow, ice, or on a dry trail. I also used them to walk around town.

It gets cold up here in the White Mountains. This boot never lets my feet or toes get cold. I can actually wear a thinner wool sock so sweat and heat does not build up. It has the expected support and comfort of my other Moabs. It has a little extra grippy sole. Microspikes fit easily as needed. I highly recommend this boot.

I always buy Merrell hikers. I need a wider than regular width toe box and these always fit me well. A wide shoe is usually too wide but these are very comfortable and true to size.

Protecting my feet and ankles with comfort, is the most effective way to help me keep on hiking. Waterproof is a priority, as well as support for balance and ease of movement. I love these boots.

These boots are very comfortable for walking dogs and hiking trails. I live in Oregon and have made several hikes in rain, wet fields, snow and ice. My feet/socks never got wet. I didn't add any waterproofing products. Well made and look great.

Loving these boots. Very comfortable with the best arch support. Lightweight, warm, good grips for walking on ice. So happy my daughter encouraged me to get these!
