Keep me warm and dry when skiing. I used different gloves and mittens from Columbia, but liked this one the most.

Used these cute gloves for my recent trip to Alaska. Definitely a great buy! When it was 12 degrees Fahrenheit at night looking for the Aurora these kept my hands very warm and comfortable. Also even when my fingers were freezing from being out of the gloves to take pics within just a few minutes in the gloves my hands were warm again.

Roomy long length glove- comfortable with length to cover wrists. I ordered a large based on size chart despite not feeling like I have large hands but they fit! (I often share my kids gloves and my oldest is 12 so I think they run a bit small)

They seem very lightweight. Roomy enough to wear thin gloves underneath if I find I need them. Looking forward to wearing them!

I have a previous model of these gloves and they've lasted me 6 seasons. Keep my hands toasty and I've just upgraded to this new glove. Can't wait to try them out this season

I'm a mittens fan, gloves don't keep my fingers warm. I wanted something for when I'm outside, active and not interested in having to get warmer gloves. I've not had to use them in frigid weather yet, but they are a great fit, super comfortable and lightweight, and seem like they're going to be a great addition.

I have had these mittens for about two months now. My hands have never gotten cold when I'm outside walking or playing with my dog. We even had some -0 weather and my hands stayed warm. I like that the inside features make it with a drawstring so you can prevent air going into the glove. The measurement said I should get a small, but because I was close to the measurement of medium, I opted to get the medium and I'm glad I did. They're just right. Normally I'm a medium so felt that the small might be too small and I think they would be. Make sure to measure your hand as instructed as it makes a difference. I suggest going to the next size up if you're close to that size in the chart.

I skied for about 4 hours in 20 to 30 degree temps and my hands stayed warm until the last hour or so. The soft fabric on the thumb came in handy.

I have owned multiple pairs of the whirlibird mittens with omniheat, both men's and women's. I wear them with a thin liner due to a sensitivity to the nickel on the coldest of days I add handwarmers. The women's XL runs short but I find that with all Columbia women's gloves and mittens. The sizing chart says up to a 9" hand but the mitten only measures 8.25" from the wrist gathering to the tip. This is a great product but you will need to size up. I try to find the men's mittens although the width is generous for me.

I love all the straps that allow you to secure the gloves nice and snug. That said, the strap around the wrist is a little challenging to pull tight, it would be easier to use if that specific strap was longer.

These mittens are warm and comfy. However, the run very small. I measure as a medium for the knuckles, and a large for the hand length--ordered the large, but my fingers press up against the top of the mitten. I'm not a big person in any dimension, but I think that XL would be the correct size for me. Also, the mittens claim to be "touch screen compatible", but I cannot get my phone to respond to any touches thru the mittens. So, unfortunately, the mittens will have to come off each time I want to look at my phone.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
They seem warm, but how are they touchscreen compatible? The label says the same, but they don't work. Also, the thumb seems too long
