I was impressed with the true-to-(my)- size fit and with the footbed comfort ( have high arches)--which is not often the case in Sorels for my picky feet. It also seemed like the heel wouldn't slip. Often I go back and forth on sizing with Sorel, between 7 and 7 1/2 . The 7 in these was good with roomy toe box (I need). So far so good. But I wavered on the design/style. I really wanted to love it because it seems a fun yet utilitarian bootie for winter weather. I'm small framed; they're a big-A shoe, which I understand is the style and I'm attracted to some styles of the Sorel trend in the kicky, beefed up styles but sometimes it's just too much for a smaller woman. This was that for me. And the clincher for me, as I had a little time standing in and staring at this Acadia mid-bootie, was it struck me as that old Merrell Moc style on steroids. I just couldn't get past that and ultimately let Acadia go. All that said, if you can pull it off go for it! I still wish I could.

exactly size I wanted it is big tho. if you have high arches will need a shoe horn to put on... no really. my sneaker head friends have me compliments. great stability for walking. love them.

The fit was a little too roomy until I added wool socks, then it was was great. Ankle length was a little short--was expecting it to be higher.

I have many Sorel boots, when I first starting buying their Winter boots many years ago, their sizing was usually on the larger side, but over the years their sizing seemed to be shrinking, and less consistent. These boots are very cute and that's why I purchased them at the first place, but they have very little toe room and my feet felt very tight (partly because I have wide feet, but it was never an issue with my old Sorel boots); not comfortable at all. I could go up a size, but the length would be too long, so sadly I had to return them. I wish Sorel would offer wide width with their shoe size for people like me.

These were exactly what I was looking for. A grippy sole, wears and feels more like a sneaker than a boot, waterproof and warm enough for my winter walks. Love the side zip ... when my pups are bouncing around because they know we're heading out, it's great not to have to bother with laces!

Very comfortable to walk in. The only problem: it's difficult to put them on, and I don't have high arches or high instep. Maybe the zipper should be at a different angle.

Overall I love these “moon boots” as my kids call them. They are well made with high quality materials and have that great Sorel feel to them. One caveat is that the heel seemed to slip a bit, yet I could tell by the way that the toe box fit, a half size down would not work. So I wore thicker socks, which worked well. The shoes do take some practice getting on, so that may be a drawback for some people. Pros are that the heel is perfectly padded and seems to give me energy with every step. The arch is supportive, but not too high. I love the grippy tread and the color is very cool. I look forward to lots of city jaunts in these!

Felt comfortable with a pair of heavy wool socks, otherwise a little too roomy. Didn't like the height of ankle boot, too short. Otherwise very nice, especially like that they were waterproof. Decided to return them because too short on the ankle.

Finally after several different shoes, this one really fit and is comfortable.
