I love these shoes and they would be the only thing on my feet all day every day if only there were a normal color or pattern offered. I understand the target market here and I'm not opposed to it, I just wish there was a simple, non-attention seeking color combo. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've worn but I hardly wear them because they are so vibrant. I thought I could convince myself to wear them often but they just stick out like a sore thumb. I just want a comfortable pair of shoes without trying to blind everyone within eyesight. I've gone trail running just to dirty them up to try to dim down the flashiness on these. I would love to use these for PT in the military as well but they're a little excessive to pair with a uniform. I might just be speaking for myself but it's hard to believe that there isn't enough of us out there that would be more likely to purchase these if even just a single one color option was available. Or even white and black like other Hoka models. Somebody please tell me I'm not the only one.

I need a firm shoe because of my plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist sugguested that I buy hiking/trail shoes for this reason. This shoe was too uncomfortable on the tile floors of the hospital. However, it's a cute shoe but I returned them.

The originals were pretty great, but the outsoles no longer stand up to anything. It's pretty rocky here in AZ but I have to shoe goo the tread back on after every run. Not sure what happened to the quality. My wife and daughter also use torrents and it has happened across all our shoes. So disappointed.

I had two pairs each of the Torrent and Torrent 2 - they were my favorite trail shoes for everything between a 2 mile jaunt with the dog and a 50k. The Torrent 3s are..not great. Hoka used a rubber compound for the sole that becomes incredibly slippery with any moisture whatsoever underfoot. You'd think making shoes that aren't death traps if it happens to rain would be a fairly well understood material science thing, but I guess not. They're also starting to peel on the sides, something that was an issue on the Speed Instinct line that preceeded the Torrent line. Going with two stars instead of one because they still feel good to run in (if it's dry...)

Great to walk in. Supports foot so well. Fits perfect on my size 15 foot. Nice to. Wear when standing a lot. Give this one an A+

I bought the Torrent 3 for a trip I was taking to the Red River Gorge Geological Area in Kentucky. Knowing I would be hiking a few trails, I needs a stable platform with adequate grip. I also wanted something light and breathable. These shoes fit the bill perfectly! Another great thing about the shoes was that they required no break-in period. The first time I put them on my feet was on my trip when I went out to hit the first trail.

Have only used for hiking so far but very impressed with the grip and comfort on some very rocky desert scrambles. I can't wait to trail run in them.

The shoe was too hard for the types of trails I run in Louisiana which are mostly packed dirt or mud with very few rocks. I loved the fit and look but exchanged it for the Challenger.

This is my 5th pair of Hokas. For this pair and the last one, I had to purchase Dr Scholl's work gel inserts because they were so uncomfortable on the inside. I bought these to hike Machu Picchu, but found they had little traction on wet stone. I was the only person in my group that found myself slipping on occasion. I was also disappointed that I had to ourder online. My local shoe store didn't have much in size 11.

I have bought 20 pair of hokas and these are the worst shows ever. Clifton 9 and stinsons are my favorites. I do have Rincon on order .

I am a big fan of Hoka. I returned them because they were way too narrow. After an hour of running I started to get a blister on the top of one of my toes, and this has never happened to me before. I used the same wool socks as always and I felt my toes were too compressed in the shoe. I exchanged them for the wide Challenger 7 and I made a good exchange. Thanks for having the option to choose wide shoes. Hoka are the only shoes I use for running.

Very stiff, which is how it's supposed to be for a trail shoe, but the seams are already coming apart so not the best quality .
