Sam Edelman is one of the few shoe companies that make shoes in a wide width. Unfortunately, they never produce enough and the larger sizes in wide width get sold out rapidly. Either make more or offer them in men’s sizes too. I was able to get my hands on one 10W that must have been returned. Overall, it is a nice, simple, classic style ballet flat. These are so hard to find anymore – its baffling. So, they go great with anything – shorts, jeans, dress outfits. With just a few minor modifications they could go from being pretty good to being excellent. Modification 1 – round the toe slightly. Do not make it an ugly rounded toe flat, but round the extreme point on it a little. It’s a little too elongated, which detracts from how nice it could be. Look at the Summit by White Mountain Kamora Flat – that has the ideal pointed toe on it. Modification 2 – Don’t go so cheap on the heel. This is a horrible hard plastic heel. It does not absorb shock and it is irritatingly loud. Go with a softer more rubberized heel. I’ll be able to take it to a shoe repair place and have this modification done, but that will cost about $100. Third - make the width a little wider. Fourth – offer it in more colors, especially a navy blue kidskin leather and a saddle brown kidskin leather. I gave it one star for comfort out of the box. I don’t know what sadist designed these, but they require a BRUTAL break in period. You will need to fill them with hot water multiple times to soften them up and get them to mold to your feet. Out of the box, they feel like unyielding plate steel.

Wanted to love these (great color/texture/fabric) but they are not comfortable. Very stiff and do not hit foot right in the front toes.

The reviews on these is misleading. I bought these in a size 8. I wear a size 8. They are very comfortable. I love the classic, vintage chic look. You can dress them up or down for great versatility. They are well made, and seem to hold up to daily ware. I definitely recommend this style shoe.

Love them! Was looking for cute flats for the office. These fit the bill. True to size, comfortable out of the box.

I usually like a pointy toe, but this point was almost comically long and pointy. Fit was just okay- I have a narrow foot and the width was fine but it was quite stiff. This review is for the Cuoio (brown textured) color. Returned.

Zero arch support and gaped open on the sides. Returned immediately. Color was a nice cream color; looked like a spring fashion color.

The point is extra long and made my size 8 feet look like a size 12!

Shoe is super cute— love the black suede color and pointed toe. However, shoe is noisy, producing a squeaking sound when you walk.

When I put these on, they felt like they fit, but they were so uncomfortable I couldn’t take more than a few steps. Too bad because the style and color were just what I was looking for.

Love these! These fit true to size but the gold leather weren't as comfortable.

Was looking for flats that looked good with work dresses (I love heels but my feet are less and less happy) - and I think these are it! Will need a little bit of breaking in but pleased that they are generally comfortable and the exact style I was wanting.

These were cute and very comfortable! Like others a bit too pointy for me!

Overall too big. If I size down my toes will not be in a natural position because of the style of the shoe. The shoes are gorgeous! I wish they fit.
