These boots look great and are amazingly comfortable from the first wear.

These boots were initially one of my favorites of the several pairs of Dalton's I own. However the weatherproof status seems to mean that it's very hard to get the interior dry. I treated them the same way I do my others Allen Edmond shoes and boots however even using shoe trees and alternating days of ware these shoes still developed mold on the inside. This is a problem I have not had with any other shoes and am very disappointed in this product.

These are the most comfortable and stylish boots I own, the leather is so soft and supple right out of the box, the fit was spot on, maybe a touch on the narrow side but other very true to size, there is absolutely no break in period at all with these boot! The quality is second to none.

Good looking and comfortable boots that you can wear in the rain. A bit narrow at the toe, but hope it will stretch in a bit. Looks good with a suit or with jeans and a nice shirt!

Very good fit. I have an issue with the right foot slipping with regular lace-up AE dress shoes (McAllisters and others from that last), but the Dalton is a perfect fit in every way. Comfortable and supportive.

I have thoroughly enjoyed these boots, they were comfortable right out of the box. I'm looking forward to working these boots out.

These are shaped perfectly. Theyre classy and rugged at the same time. Which is the goal for me at all times. Surprisingly comfortable. The color is fantastic. Well made. Very happy. Thanks Allen Edmonds! I'll be back.

Your electronic notifications were deceitful and inaccurate. The messaged delivery was way off. Based on your delivery, you must have had to find a dead cow, harvest the hide, tan it, and make the shoes.

I decided it was time to update my look and stumbled across the Allen Edmonds Dalton. As soon as I opened the box and smelled the leather, I knew I made the right choice. I normally wear an11.5 in Nike running shoes and have found that the 11 fits me just right with a medium weight wool sock. I love the dainite sole. It's not too rugged and provides ample traction on every surface that I encountered. I recentlywore these out on a date with my wife and they garnered stares and compliments. If you're ready to step your game up, give these a look.

Got these boots in time for Fall/Winter. Put a navy blazer and brown twill pants with these Dark Chili dalton, got a ton of compliments.

The Dalton is a exceptional dress boot for any occasion for that smooth classic gentleman.

Not sure what the quality of these shoes were in previous years. However, I disagree with recent reviews about the brand. It's a very comfortable and light shoe. I wear 12D in most boots and these were no exception in terms of fit, plus I have narrow foot. This particular boot is better suited for premium jeans rather than dress pants. My opinion is that mid-tops are better looking with dress pants. Snag a pair if you can catch a sale but if not, it's still worth the investment.

A boot that you can wear with jeans or suit. That's made of the highest quality and are very comfortable on your feet. This my 5th pair of Allen Edmonds footwear. And I have never been disappointment.

The leather appears to be very nice, particularly for leather that claims to be weather proof. I am pleased so far and am thinking I will be even more so in a year or so when they are fully broken in.

I had heard these run narrow but I tried my regular size (11D) first. They were, in fact, too tight in the forefoot. I know that "snug" will break in, but these were tight with dress socks. I returned for a size 11E. These fit great in the forefoot and are extremely comfortable. I wore them all day out of the box with no rubbing or soreness. Unfortunately, the 11Es are wider than I like in the heal and there is some slip. Not significant, and I'm hoping they even out as they break in. Nice boot.

Boots are nice, except there is no storm welt which the description states there is so not sure how "weatherproof" they truly are. Aside from that I am pleased with the purchase. Quality of construction could be better but by no means is it bad.

Fit is tight and looks odd as the boot is very narrow.

I just received these boots today. The fit is spot on and the leather is very soft and comfortable. However I noticed a chunk of rubber missing out of the sole almost as if they are factory seconds, not a deal breaker but for this price point you would expect them to not have factory second type imperfections. I just wish these manufactures would take a little more pride in the way the present there products to their customers. But all in all they make a very comfortable shoe.

I've had a few different boots from Allen Edmunds and these are my last pair. After 4 Months with wearing a time or two a week the soles are worn down to nothing. While the fit was good day one the leather has stretched out in the sides making them very loose.
