These are the winners! I literally bought 8 pairs of this style of black leather bootie shoes and liked these the best. I like the soft leather and flex to the shoe. They do not seem like they will scuff easy and appear well-made unlike other pairs I purchased (I'm talking about you SoftWalk Rocklin). They have not required much break-in time. The insole is comfy with has a raised arch support. I really like the versatility of the style. I could wear them casual with jeans, with a business suit or a LBD. Very happy with this shoe!

There are two zippers pictured on the boot but only one zipper functions, the other zipper is a fashion statement.

I selected these based partly on the fact that they have a removable innersole, which I hoped would allow me to wear them with my prescription orthotics. Unfortunately removing the innersole still did not leave enough room for my orthotics -- the booties were too tight with them in. Fortunately, this is not a deal-breaker because the moderate arch support the booties provide is sufficient for me.

Good looking and very comfortable. But I’m very disappointed that after just a few wearings, the leather on both toes is peeling. Never happened on any other boots that I have owned.

I originally got these in normal width but they were too tight across the top. I reordered in wide and they fit well. The heel is a little loose but I'm used to wearing Danskos, which have a similar heel fit. They look cute and are perfect for work. The zipper makes them easy to take on and off.

They fit like a glove for your feet. I suffer with gout in the big toe and the toe room is so adequate I can keep them on for hours with no pain.

I liked these boots. My feet did not. They are a soft leather and comfortable. I ordered a 9.5N. They felt true to size. The toe box was a little narrow in height. My hammer toe was not happy. Sadly I returned the boots.

Beautifully made shoes. The quality is obvious and therefore worth the price. However I have several foot problems that can't be solved with high quality shoes, so I had to return these. If you have no foot problems these are elegant booties.

I’ve been searching for a lower heeled bootie and thought this would work. The style is simple and a good basic bootie. I would have preferred a smooth black finish vs the black snake but it wasn’t a very obvious “snake” print. I ordered the recommended 9.5 ww. The width was perfect and made my wide feet look narrow. The toe box needed to be wider as the big toe rubbed against the side of the boot. I feel the leather was soft enough to stretch in time but I also didn’t feel that the heel was comfortable. I could feel where the heel ended under my foot and it just didn’t feel right. I think more cushioning or a different cut to the heel would have helped. I feel I need a more rounded toe box vs an almond toe to fit my feet. I love Zappos for all their choices and easy returns.

Wore these all day for the first time and they are super comfortable and cute. Very basic which is what I want in the classroom. I wear a 10 N and they are narrow enough with just wearing thin socks. Also the heel doesn't slip up and down!

Trotters Major looked cuter on than in the pictures, however, it was lacking cushion in the heel, so it felt as though standing/walking for long periods would be jarring on my joints.

EE width was still too tight in toe area but loose in heel

Nice looking shoe. Had to return because the tops rubbed my ankle bones.

Great shoe! I wish the toe was a little pointier but all in all I’m very happy.
