I love these dance sneakers! I started dance during the pandemic and I have ankle and foot problems (bunions and bad tendons), and these sneakers have made the leaps, jumps, and more active elements of dance class totally doable. The fit well, but are a little snug on the sides of the feet (as dance shoes often should be).

the shoe size is 1/2 to 1 size larger than my foot size (as measured on the metal scale thingy in shoe stores). my foot is medium to wide, and this shoe is flexible and fits well for wider feet. very comfortable, good shock-absorbance, excellent swivel enablement. It took a month or so of dancing (3-4 times a week of at-home pandemic dancing) for the sole to stop click-tapping on the floor. By the time we returned to in-person dancing I am not raising a hell of a drumming sound while dancing. the type of dancing I do is mostly international folk dancing; and when life gets back to normal I will go back to contradancing, English country dancing, Scottish set-style dancing, Scandinavian - these shoes will be good for all these different styles. I do not grade the style of the shoe high - it looks like a clumsy sneaker, not a nice dance shoe. But comfort and performance come first, looks secondary.

Loved the shoe. They run very small. Had to up size 2 1/2 sizes to get enough room for a little grow space for a young girl.

I have a Narrow (AA) width and I am always worried about ordering a shoe online because of this. However, I read the other Customer reviews and took their advise. Normally, I am a 8N, but I ordered these shoes in a 9M. It was a perfect fit!! I am using the shoes for Zumba and they are very comfortable and snug. Thanks to everyone for writing reviews!!!!

This is a very useful and comfortable shoe for ballroom dance lessons. I will never get over how strange they look but several people were wearing something similar. I could wear these for hours. I ordered others and sent all the others back because all were less comfortable.

Nice shoes. Not wide enough for my feet.

After the third attempt this was the shoe that allowed an orthotic insert. It's comfortable, not the most stylish by any means but helps in Zumba to keep your knees from getting twisted.

I have to insert an orthotic so I need the depth in the heel area. These fit the bill to a T. I need the sole for Zumba classes so I usually order this type of shoe. If you don't have an orthotic issue Bloch provides an equally good shoe for dancing. Not recommended for walking on sidewalk or treadmill.

I wear a 10.5 mens, ordered 11.5 and it was a bit too short. Reordered a 12 and it was just right. The B width is a bit narrow but the shoe still fits well and is comfortable. Bought these because training shoes I was using were too “sticky” for Zumba and Cardio (had to use talc on soles). These shoe have a nice easy grip on wood gym floors but rotate/spin easily. Needed that specifically because of knee replacement. Great value.

I just love these so much. This is perfect for most dance fitness / dance practice / Zumba classes, especially for a lot of fast and full Latin motions and fast turns on the floor that is less slippery surface. On a very slippery studio floor, I need to use my thigh muscles to hold myself from slipping but many studio floors this is perfect. I have narrow feet and highly developed arches so they are just so perfect for my feet. This has a good ankle support and side support, too. For your information, my street shoe size is 7, and athletic shoe size is anything from 8 to 9, depending on the brand. 8.5 fits perfect for this pair. (just like a pair of Bloch dance sneakers) My wish is: can Capezio one day make different colors, too, for this particular style? I love their white so I own two pairs of white but I wish they also make metallic colors, turquoise, red, pink, etc!!

Nicely made dance fitness shoe, but, as a true size 9, I had to return and exchange this shoe twice...based on reviews, I ordered one size up and then had to try the 11 and then the 12 -- 3 sizes up -- before I had a comfortable fit. Truly mis-sized with narrow toe area, so order sizes up, ladies!

I usually buy a 10.5 US size. I ordered a 13 since it said to add '2'. I added a wee bit more to accommodate the narrow width. Not sure why a wider size is not offered. I have had a lot of trouble with traditional dance shoes - they hurt my feet after an hour of dancing. These Capezio shoes were great, i am going to use them for both ballroom and country dance nights.

I have a size 8 AAA which is an extremely narrow foot. These fit perfect in width and I went a full size up which is my perfect fit. It was a nice bonus to remove the insoles to put in my orthotics. Even though I had broke my heel 3 years ago, the support in these shoes for the arch and heels are excellent. I was able to move smoothly and quickly without jerking my ankles and knees in my Zumba class.

These shoes are great. I got a half size bigger than usual, but that was too small so I returned them for a pair one full size larger than street shoes and they are perfect.

I wear a 7.5 wide street shoe and after some experimenting, found that the size 9.5 shoe in this model was perfect. It's super comfortable for ballroom practice, though a suede soled shoe would probably be better for salsa.

So far so good! Bought these for line dancing. I noted instructor wearing them....and they work great. I did go up 1/2 size from my normal and that is just right.

Perfect dance shoe! My daughter is on her High school dance team and needed new dance shoes in a pinch! To my amazement Zappos had the exact dance shoe, we normally had to purchase from a specific dance company, that mind you, took over a week to receive! Zappos saved the day ?? with one day FREE shipping. I'm so glad I checked Zappos inventory. (Dance shoes should always be ordered a 1/2 size up from street shoe size)!

Just got mine today. I'm glad I read the reviews first and ordered half a size up. I'm usually a size 5 for dress shoes, and size 5.5-6 for sneakers. I ordered a 6.5, and it feels just right. When I line it up with my other sneakers, it is almost exactly the same length as a 5.5 sneaker, and about 1" shorter than the size 6. The sole is slippery and will take getting used to, but I love the way it looks, and the tightening-with-one-pull feature is super nice!

I really like these dance shoes and actually already own a pair. So I was disappointed when the quality of this pair was not up to the standard of my first pair. The lacings on both shoes were skewed and did not feel right. I am disappointed that I have to return them.

Fun, stylish and easy to wear. These shoes are a pleasure to wear on non-dance surfaces. No aches or pains!

I normally wear a 7 1/2, but ordered a 9 based on other reviews. A dancer friend told me that dance shoes are notorious for running small. The 9 fits fine, maybe a bit large, but fine with socks. I bought these for Zumba and possibly for other dance classes. They are very comfortable and allow me to turn easily. I have great flexibility with the split sole. I gave them 3 stars for style because, as great as they are, they are not attractive! NOTE: I find them too slick on the bottom to wear outside of the dance studio.

I wear an 114A street shoe and have a flexible arch, otherwise known as a flat foot. Ii have searched and searched for a Zumba and dance aerobic shoe. The size 12 Capezio Dansneaker is the best fit by far. Even though they are labeled medium, they work well with a narrow foot. Unlike Bloch's they do not require a high arch. If you want a good dance sneaker and haven't yet tried these, I recommend that you do so.

These are awesome dance shoe for Zumba! They are comfortable, but sturdy. They have great soles for sliding. They run small, I take a size 7, but had to order an 8½! Zappos customer service and return policy cannot be beat!

Although I am definitely not a dancer, these shoes are great for Zumba on gym wood floors. Comfortable on first wearing.
