Loving this watch so far. Don't be scared by the 36mm size, it fits really well on my 6.75" wrist. Light, comfortable, slim, water resistentthis will work perfectly for my hikes. Easy to read dial but the case is a small enough to fit under a jacket or sweater in the woods. My ONLY nitpick is I wish the case had a little more high polishit's basically all brushed which can look a LITTLE less premium. But for $169 (find a coupon code!) it's an absolute steal. Amazing value.

This watch is everything I wanted. 36 mm, screw down crown, sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, bead blasted case (similar to my Hamilton khaki field) solar powered quartz. The movement is super accurate, the ticking is so quiet it cannot be heard unlike other times models. The lume is very good. I did a Timelapse comparing the lume to a the Hamilton khaki field mechanical and the vaer c3 Korean field watch (both using Swiss superluminova) and it performs just as well as those. I have woken up to check the time at all hours of the night and the lume is always there making it very easy to read. I have gone swimming and cliff jumping in this watch without issue. I just wasn't a big fan of the strap personally so I put it on a brown perlon strap. Love this thing and it is my main watch I will keep forever.

I have owned this Expedition North Field Post Solar 36mm for six months now. Every quartz watch that I have previously owned was accurate to approximately +/- 1.5 seconds per week. (+/- 0.2 seconds per day) This watch, when compared to the NIST website and WWV radio broadcasts appears to gain approximately 1 second per month! (.04 seconds per day) I am a retired astronomer and remember well the old mechanical astronomical regulator clocks used in observatories, the accuracy of which were generally +/- 0.03 to +/- 0.06 seconds per day. Prior to the invention of atomic clocks, they were the most precise time keeping devices ever made. This watch is of astronomical regulator accuracy! Now, I doubt that Timex can go to the time and expense of regulating all of these watches to that accuracy. (Care to comment, Timex?) I must have just gotten lucky, but my goodness! Astronomical regulator accuracy on my wrist? Thank you, Timex! You've made an old astronomer very happy!

This watch has an old-school, effortlessly cool vibe that looks as good with a button down and jeans as it does with rugged activewear. It's a classic style that works for both men and women (my husband steals it on occasion if I'm not wearing it!).

I really like the simple and classic design, the watch is light yet it feels nice and sturdy built, I love the fact that the glass is sapphire, and that is solar powered, so far the watch worked very well and I would recommend it to anyone who loves outdoor activities.

I love this watch! I'm not usually a watch wearer but I have been convinced. The leather strap is extremely stylish and durable and perfect for spending time outdoors. It's a huge plus to know it's an eco friendly product and I love the fact that it's solar powered!

Because of this Timex, I've started leaving the smart watch I've been buying for 3 generations, on the dresser. After a few collisions against doorframes and swims in the pool, I expected to see some wear but it still looks as new as the day I bought it. I switched the 18mm leather strap for a 19mm nato and it takes the watch to another level - looks absolutely gorgeous. As a designer I know it's a challenge getting the perfect balance of color, material and finish. This watch accomplishes all three, which means I can't stop looking at it.

This fits comfortably and is the first and only watch that has actually fit my small 5.5 inch wrist! I love the vintage design, which goes well with any outfit, plus it's very high quality. The leather strap is thick and durable so I know I can wear this daily for a long time.

Like some other reviewers, I have noticed some wobbling of the seconds hand; and missing roughly 1/4 of the markings. For those less neurotic than I, this might be suitable, but I'm a bit disappointed.
