I really wanted this shoe to work. The 2 factors that caused it to be a fail for me, firstly it is a very sturdy shoe, the materials are thick and well constructed but this also caused too much pressure over the top of my foot when the shoe creases to bend toes while walking. It could have also had a more fully shaped toe box. I think many manufacturers compromise width for toe spread in order to keep a shoe looking more feminine by being straight rather than foot shaped.

These are such great shoes! Costly, yes, but the quality is top notch and I’m sure they will last a long time. Super comfortable, really good fit, really attractive even for my wide feet. I’ve already gotten compliments in the first few wearings! Definitely recommend.

Excellent shoe for long distance walking. I bought a double wide width (am usually a single wide) to accommodate my running shoe orthotics. Currently in the process of breaking these in for our upcoming European vacation - super comfortable right out of the box and surprisingly good looking. Will be super cute with jeans.

These sneakers are a very nice neutral color and style. Unfortunately, the 10N was not narrow enough, so I need to return them. I find that often with SAS I need a slim. Not available in this style of shoe.

I have several pairs of SAS shoes, but this pair missed the mark for me. I have problem feet and wear custom orthotics (different types depending on the style of shoe). Although the insole is removable in this shoe, the toe box isn't deep enough to accommodate an orthotic. As a result, the shoe presses against my toes, which is very uncomfortable. A larger shoe size wouldn't fix this design problem, so I'm returning these (regrettably).

I am VERY disappointed to have to return these SAS Highstreet X shoes. They are cuter in person than online. I ordered the sand dune color. I normally wear an 8 wide in SAS sandals such as Huggy, Captiva, and Relaxed. I ordered these shoes in an 8.5 WW, and the fit was perfect. I have very sensitive skin, joints, and connective tissue, and the place where the shoes bend at the toes pushed down too hard on the top of my feet. For a person with no skin or joint sensitivities, you probably wouldn't even notice this. I, unfortunately, knew they would cause me a great deal of pain. Sad to return them because they are really cute for an SAS shoe!

The fit was like the other sas. I like this style it doesn't have sas on the back! I have only worn them 2 times when I am out and about town shopping. So far I like them.

I ordered the WW not the W as usual since I will be wearing socks vs thin sneaker socks with these. Surprisingly, the extra width made the whole shoe much bigger than my normal size in SAS shoes. I am exchanging for the 8W. Very cute for a supportive shoe. SAS rarely disappoints me.

I need comfortable shoes when working in school; however,I also like new fashion trends. These SAS Highstreet X shoes fit the bill! They look like the popular sport shoe with the swoosh. I cannot wear the popular brand because they are not comfortable for me or wide enough. Thank you SAS for making this style. They are light weight, all leather, and have good arch support, but not over the top arch support that throws my knees out of whack. This is just a thrilling find for me right before the school year starts. They are pricey, but I have found a gem of a shoe!!

These shoes are amazing! Pricey - yes, but they are worth it. I have been having issues with my feet for about a year. Had to get custom-made insoles from my dr., and I keep transferring them to each shoe I wear, which is annoying. The SAS shoes have great arch support, so I did not have to swap the insert for them. My feet feel so good in these shoes! And did I tell you that I bought them right before a business trip which involved a lot of walking to/from Convention Hall and at the Trade Show floor? It was risky from my part, I know, but it paid off. I did not have to "break in" the shoes before my trip. They felt so comfortable and despite all-day walking, my feet did not hurt at all. I would highly recommend these shoes! Really worth it!

These shoes are comfortable from the start. I really like the sage green color and the style, a little different than running shoes. I am almost always good whit SAS!

I'm a fan of SAS tennis shoes/sneakers, well their shoes in general. Great construction, excellent support, and the styles are not what my grandma used to wear. This is my third pair of lacing SAS shoes, they have better support for my feet that tend to under-pronate than loafers thanks to the thicker soles. My one complaint is that these particular shoes get dirty fast. I love the look and the lighter color that's NOT stark white, but I wish they'd stay cleaner longer. The description says a manmade upper, they're mostly suede and a little bit of textile. However, I couldn't ask for a more comfortable shoe. Great arch support for my wide feet, plenty of padding, as a teacher I'm on my feet all day, so that's critical for me.

These shoes are very nice. I love the style, but the fit was off. I wore them inside my home to test them and something kept rubbing on the top of my feet. I was sad to return them. I really wanted them to work out as they look great with wide pants.

Another reviewer said that these shoes didn't have much up-and-down space in the toe area and that felt that way to me too. Also the style was cute from the side but looked somewhat mannish viewed from the top so I'm returning.

Shoes were slippery on floor and carpet. Felt like I was skating.

As are most of the SAS shoes I have ever worn, these are very comfortable. I would recommend.
