I love the grip and lightweight. I really really wanted these shoes to work for me, but the toe box is just too narrow and I would get blisters on my 2nd toe. I also have worn them for 3 mo now regularly hoping that they would get less stiff, but that hasn't happened. I have to go back to the other brand that has a roomy toe box, but less grip.

Purchased the Runventure 4 at the end of a trail run after the Altra Lone Peak 6 failed me. The fit is much more secure through the heel and midfoot. The toe box is roomy without being too wide (like all Topos). At 20mm, I thought I would miss the cushion of the Ultraventures but I don't. These are the most comfortable shoes I own! I can wear them all day and then right out on the trail. Well done, Topo. It's great to see some 0 drop shoes added to the line up.

I had bought a pair of Runventure 3's a while back but didn't love them, which was unfortunate because Topo's are the only shoes I can wear. The 3's were comfortable enough- but the upper seemed to "pop" every time I took a step, which became both uncomfortable and annoying. When looking at trail shoes again, I saw a review mention that the upper on the 4's had been fixed so I took a chance on them. So glad I did! They're comfortable and kept my feet dry during my first few muddy runs in them.

These Topos have been the best option for my winter jogging in Wisconsin. Wide toebox, thick enough soles and insulation from the elements in winter (combined with thick socks), 0-drop - they beat a couple of other brands I tried

Love these ~best trail shoes I've ever had! Look great too! No break in needed. After wearing Altra for years and so many changes in design I decided to try these, my new brand now. Feel so comfortable.

I’ve been wearing Altras and don’t feel like I had enough mid foot support. These shoes solved that problem

Runventure has become my favorite hiking and backpacking shoe. This is my second year wearing Runventures. I love how grippy they are. There is enough flex in the footbed to give good traction over roots and rocks, but enough protection to keep the feet happy, even on a 20-mile hiking day. This year's model has a smaller fit than last year's--esp in width for the metatarsals and length for the toes. I wish I had sized up a 1/2 size.

I ordered the gray color and they are more attractive in person than the photos. They felt great on my right foot but not the left. I have Morton's neuroma on the left and something about the ball of foot area felt off on the left shoe causing my foot to go numb. There's plenty of room in the toe box and I felt they have good support. I would have loved to have kept them. I was able to get my orthotics in them but the toe box area is wider than the orthotic, even so I would have kept them if I hadn't had the problem w numbness.

I loved this shoe in every way except it caused my foot to pronate quite severely. It would be great for people who need that correction but I have a neutral foot and don't need that. I stood on one foot for a little bit in them and my knee hurt the rest of the day. I am very disappointed because I like them otherwise.

The toe area is wide (despite some other reviews) my feet look like a duck in them. Also, low heel support.

I wear my shoes for walking, biking. I start my shoes as "good shoes" and then make them work shoes for my warehouse job. These are not comfy in the tongue area. Not my first topos. I go between topos and altras. Not overly impressed with either currentlyand both have negatives due to the tongue

#sweepstakes I love Topos and they are the only trail shoe I will wear! I have never felt so comfortable in a shoe. Thank you so much for this incredible product. Anyone who is looking for a zero drop minimalist shoe will hopefully have a great expo like I do with the Runventure 4. Finding the right shoe is so important. I have also tried some of the road shoes and simply love those as well. Zero drop seems to work best for me. I am also excited to try out the new Pursuit. That has more cushioning, and might be helpful for the super long ultras.

I am new to Trail running and was looking for something minimal. These are perfect low cushion zero drop shoe that meets all of my terrain needs. I love them and would love another pair. I also love my ST-4 and ST-5. #sweepstakes

These are my favourite. I have a long arch, (can barely call it an arch with how flat my feet are), and fairly short toes aside from my big toe on each foot, so sizing for any shoe is always hard. These give me enough room without feeling awkwardly large when accommodating for the Big Toes. I love the low profile. I was not initially looking for zero drop, wearing Topos 3mm and 5mm consistently over the years but these fit and feel so good. I'm on my 5th pair but now these are being phased out.

These are my new favorite shoes! I've run in ASICS shoes for overpronation since I was 12. As I've gotten older I've dealt with knee pain & shin splints as I try to increase mileage. Then I read Born to Run & was inspired to try the minimalist design. I absolutely love the roomy toe box & the responsiveness of the shoe on the trails. But most importantly the zero drop design has strengthened my feet & helps me strike midfoot vs heel strike. Running is much more enjoyable thanks to these shoes!

The low rise and lightweight features were the draw for me, then to top it off with soft grippy soles they are engineered perfectly for my hard-to-fit feet. ( my feet are long and narrow but still need a shoe with room for toes to be natural inside)

Great shoe. I got these to help with my plantar fasciitis, and boy did they help! Love the wide to box. Really gives the foot room to spread and heal. Only drawback is that I wear them down in about 3-4 months, but I wear them every day and I'm pretty active. #sweepstakes

Perfect toe box, minimal shoe. No fake arch support or weird add ons. More cushioning than my 'other' big toe box brand, I'm a convert!

I was looking for a good quality shoe to walk my dog and do mountain hiking. I have many foot issues and these activities have been painful in the past. I am relatively pain-free now thanks my Topo shoes! Thank you so much C. Vlamis #sweepstakes

I've put about 30 miles on these so far and I think I've found my new favorite trail shoe. I've worn Altra Timpes and Lone Peaks for a few years but the newest updates just aren't that great. With the Runventure 4s, I get the zero drop and wide toe box that I love with a shoe that's still designed to look like a regular trail shoe (Altras we're getting weird). They have great cushion but are still super light, not bulky, and aren't over stabilizing. I can feel the ground but not the rocks. I really like these.

I have purchased Altra's in the past for 0 drop shoes and I like the fit, feel and style of these much better. They feel more secure through the heel and mid-foot, but still have a lot of room in the toe box without feeling sloppy. I am recovering from an ankle/foot injury and have not been trail running in them yet, but I love how they feel walking on trail. Highly recommend!
