I've always loved Teva's comfortable sole, but the ampsoles take Teva to a whole new level in comfort. If you're looking for an all-day walking or light hiking sandal, these are going to be your new go-to. I usually wear a 9.5 so I ordered a 10. There's plenty of room to avoid stubbing my toes in the river (which can be an issue if you're wearing sandals that are too short). The wide footbed provides stability and space for the feet to spread naturally. This sandal cups my heel in a cloud of cushion while offering my moderately high arches support--just the kind of footbed to prevent planter fasciitis flare-ups. Five star purchase!

First off, I never write reviews. BUT I've been wearing these shoes for 20 days straight on a backpacking trip through Spain and Italy. They've held up through hiking, water, and day-to-day travel. All my friends are very jealous they don't have these shoes on this trip. I wear a 7.5 usually and went down to 7 and they fit perfect.

I LOVED my original Tevas. I had two pair and wore them out. I used them on trails, on walks around the hood with the dogs, everywhere. But the geometry seems to have been changed in the heel area for the straps and I can no longer wear these shoes. I am so bummed. Instead of sitting high on my heel, the straps now rest about halfway down and do not feel secure at all. I tried different pairs at different stores (silly I know) and had the same results. So no Tevas in my future. Truly sad and feel let down by a brand that I love.

I bought these right before my trip to Italy and I was so happy that I did. They are super light and comfortable and I wore them almost every single day, just for walking around and hiking. They feel like walking on clouds. I'm a size 6 and got a size 6. Easy to clean too. My straps got dusty so I scrubbed them with oxy clean and a toothbrush and then some dish soap. Highly recommend this to everyone! You won't regret it

So far I'm loving these! I live in SE Asia and needed a comfortable, stylish sandal for everyday life. The thick, cushioned sole brings comfort and style. I also like the monochrome look. I've worn them to run errands and walking around the city and no blisters or rubbing. I did have to return the 9 for the 10. Most of the reviews I read said to size down, but my toes were hanging off the front of the shoe! The 10 is a perfect fit, even for my narrow foot. I hope they can make more colors like a darker grey or blue!

Exactly the same rugged build of the regular Hurricane XLT2s, but with a (surprisingly lightweight) elevated sole. As someone super well versed in wearing platforms for every occasion, I expect these will perform nearly identically to the originals for me. The adjustability and padded back strap makes these a steady go-to. I had a hard time finding pictures of this colorway, but the Gemina Neutral was a great pick for me as someone who wears a lot of black and green. Size wise- I wear a 7 in sneakers, and have narrow-ish feet. In most open-toed shoes and some other styles I wear a 6.5. With no half sizes, my heart wants to be a 6 in these because they are so much wider in the toebox than anything else I have, but after ordering two pairs, I have conceded that they are true to size and I prefer a 7. With the 7 my heel is cupped better, arch is properly placed, and my toes don't creep towards the outer edge when walking. The difference between the two is barely there visually, but comfort wise it's very apparent.

When I saw these sandals, I thought they'd be like fat tires for my feet - squishy and bouncy. They are more like regular Tevas, with a platform sole. The sole isn't hard, but it isn't as squishy as it looks. Due to the platform, I wouldn't wear these on real hiking trails. They're fine for paved surfaces, but I'd stay away from anything uneven because they're so clunky. Otherwise, they fit like a regular Teva. The pad on the back strap might help if that is a typical spot of friction for you. So, yeah...they're fine. I can walk long distances in them. I purchased the moonstone color and worried they'd lean towards lavender. They are a true pale gray / ecru.

I absolutely love these so much I bought them in Eucalyptus color too. They are so comfortable I have been wearing them non stop in anticipation of a Disney trip in August. So far, no issues. They are adjustable which makes them even better

Honestly most comfortable shoes I own. There's a previous version of me that wouldn't have been caught dead with these granola Jesus shoes but with enough Instagram I caved and honestly best decision I've ever made because who doesn't love comfort

This platform may look clunky, but it's squishy and lightweight. I have a pair in the tan and my mom who has knee issues wore it once and loved it so much I ordered her the black pair. She loves how comfy they are and can adjust as she sometimes has issues with her feet swelling. These are great and have given her so much relief!

my feet have been hurting so bad after being pregnant and giving birth. Every night and morning I would wake up with them in pain. I bought these shoes and it was like stepping on a pillow. Now I look forward to walking up and putting them on ; I can walk with my baby without any pain. They are the most comfortable shoes I think I've ever owned!!

I bought these last spring during my last pregnancy, knowing I'd need something cute and functional and they totally delivered! They're super cute and incredibly comfortable, albeit maybe a little wide if you have narrow feet. Perfect for a pregnant person, though, and I'm still wearing them daily this summer. They've held up well over the past year, and I went for the darker neutral, since the black over emphasized how chunky they are (I have big feet for a small person). Overall, highly recommend! They look great with dresses, shorts, hiking or even going out. Enjoy the comfortable practical shoe while you can!

I bought these and the Flatform Universal to compare. Both cute, but the Hurricanes were far more comfortable so I returned the Flatforms. I normally wear an 8.5 and both of these fit perfectly in size 8. I have a normal width foot and these seem wide but they are so versatile and comfy. I wear them for water sports, travel, shopping, light hiking and even with casual dresses. Bonus: my 19 year-old said they were “cap.”

I have arthritis and bone spurs in my big toe and finding sandals that were supportive with sufficient rocker bottom and cushion was next to impossible. I tried on dozens of options until I found these. I hope that they will continue to be just what I need after surgery!!

I used these to hike up and down mountains in lake Atitlan Guatemala. They stood up to the rocks and different textures of the mountain . They do look quite worn in now 3 weeks later . I would buy these again and again.

I have flat feet and a variety of other issues that make finding a comfortable shoe tough. I bought these for a two week trip to Italy and they did not disappoint. They are extremely comfortable with lots of support and durability. I walked up and down mountains, over miles of cobblestone streets, and on some days, walked 10 miles in the cities. My feet/ankles/legs did not hurt. I was amazed. I am now buying a pair for my mom.

Honestly they took a little bit of wearing in. They caused a bit of friction on the front strap but that was gone in about 2 wears with some adjustments as well. Shoe is great. Wore it all around Bali with multiple outfits. I'm normally 6.5 and sized down per recommendations. I'd say it was slowly small but worked fine

I am a true 8 and size 8 for Teva worked for me. I initially ordered a 7 because I’m a 7 in Chaco sandals, but that was too small. These Teva fit my wide feet perfectly! I love how you can adjust all the straps, so adjusting the front strap gave my wide feet the room they needed. I highly recommend these shoes, they’re so comfy and stylish!

These are my absolute favorite TEVAs (I always loved this brand, but these are NEXT LEVEL comfortable…like walking on cushy clouds the soles are uniquely unlike any I’ve had before). Also they look great on the foot. I’m a sold 6 1/2 and ordered 6 in Sesame and fit is perfect. Zappos also is AWESOME as usual with super fast delivery and pristine shoes.

I wear an 8.5 and went with my usual size 8 in Tevas. Usually I go for the flatforms but I really like the extra details around the sole, and grippyness. They are supremely comfortable and supportive enough for my st. louis arched feet. I purchased the beige and I'm sure they'll go with almost anything I wear this summer, being such a nice neutral!

Bought size 7. Footbed is plenty big enough and so comfortable. But my foot seems to slip forward and I haven't figured out what to do to stop it. I think the arch is too far forward in relation to the straps. It is more of an annoyance than a defect. The foot bed is very soft and comfortable.

I now have this sandal in 5 colors. I have major feet issues. Bunions, surgery, plantar fasciitis, and neuropathy. These sandals allow me to enjoy an entire day on my feet with very little pain. They are extremely comfortable and also very stable while adding height! Highly recommend!

I bought one pair of Ampsoles a few months ago and I really like them. I'm adding another pair so I can wear them on my upcoming vacation. They are comfortable and they have enough support to get through the entire day. You can wear them with dresses, pants, shorts and bathing suits.
