These are so super comfy and cute. No break in time required! I normally wear a 9 (sometimes 8.5) and always a 39 in Birkenstocks, but needed a 40 in these.

Taos shoes are always amazing. Ordered this style and The Perfect and ended up keeping The Perfect. These shoes had excellent arch support, comfortable footbed which would probably require minimal break in. Decided I didn't like the way the toe area fit, was a little too tight for me (although it is leather and would probably stretch), and with my skinny ankles and legs the large cork footbed just looked too clunky for me.

I love these shoes so much. They're beautiful, well made, have great style, good color, and are really comfortable. After a long, hard look in the mirror I realized they just plain didn't look very good on me, which shouldn't affect anybody else. It just about breaks my heart, but I'm returning them. I'm so grateful for Zappos' return policy.

I really wanted this sandal. I tried two different sizes but my baby toe and a slight part of my foot hung over the sides of both sizes. I am so disappointed cause it's a super comfortable, well-made and versatile sandal that would go with everything. I do have a narrow heel and wider front foot . If this applies to you than you probably won't have much luck either. So sad to have to send these back.

These shoes are perfect for me. I love everything about them! They are cute, fit well, and are extremely comfortable. I know these will be my "go-to" sandals this summer. So glad I bought them!!

These are a gorgeous work of art. I love the cut/design very much. However, they are form over function! They have a tapered base and very soft leather. They do not feel secure at all. I twisted once, luckily not a big injury; but they are just not stable. The leather is way too thin and it offers no support to stay solid in the base. (I have excellent balance and wear all kinds of heels.) I do not feel these are a value; they will not last either- thin leather is already stretching because they are wiggly and unstable and I have them on the tightest setting. Bummer because they are soooo pretty on my feet with a suntan and nude polished toenails! Ah well---

This sandal fits true to size, had lots of support for wearing all day and was beautifully crafted. Truly is a beautiful shoe. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality shoe that will last for years.

The toe hole is WAY too small. It was cutting off circulation to my toe as soon as I put the sandal on.

I haven't worn Taos before so I don't know if these were narrower than normal or if Taos just generally runs narrow. I have wide feet and have been searching for a pair of thick-strap brown leather sandals. I wanted to spend less, but these were cute and I was running out of options so I got a pair. Unfortunately the strap was too narrow for my foot (or maybe fortunately, for my checking account).

Very cute shoe, but did not fit my foot because of where my bunion hit on the open part of the sole. I would recommend it to people with low volume feet otherwise - the fit was nice except for the one spot. I wear an 11 in closed toe, but a 10 usually in sandals, narrow, low volume foot but bunions on both sides from teaching sports. This shoe is worth a try!

I have also lusted after these sandals I’ve read in more than three reviews that one of the toe holes was smaller and other, so I know now that I am not going crazy. I could visually see it is smaller so I will order one more pair and give it another try, if it fits I will keep them. They’re beautiful very sad to have to exchange. Fingers crossed

I like these so much. The right sandal feels great. I’ve broken my left foot twice. The left sandal doesn’t feel comfortable. I’m so sad because these are so cute.

Best sandals next to Birks- and much prettier. Had to size up one size, though.

Oh my goodness!!! ---Love these, cute and comfy sandals! I got the brandy color mainly because I thought the brand patch was too much and it blended in a little more with this color. I would love to get these in black without the Taos patch. It would be nice if Taos would emboss it instead. These are pricey but they will get a lot of wear. The sculpted cork sole and the shape of the leather make these a work of art. Form and function--whoohoo!!! :)

I would have purchased this sandal in several colors had it not been too short; unfortunately, the maker doesn’t offer it any larger. It ran narrower tan a med. which also made it perfect for me.

Oh my, what an incredible shoe. This is not some ordinary 'flip flop' type shoe. These are beautifully made, surprisingly supportive and with a small, but perfect heel height allowing you to look quite stylish while providing the feel of security one needs and never gets in a typical 'flop'. They also contained a surprise for me.. I'm sure it must have been in the description, but I overlooked it.. the main strap surrounding the upper portion of your foot can be adjusted slightly to tighten (or loosen) just enough to make your foot more secure, so if you have to run no worries about your foot slipping out of place. I love that!

I normally wear a size 9, for this sandal I needed to go to a 10. That fit perfectly

Love these sandals so much but am not sure if I should keep them. They are just a tad too narrow (my pinkie toe hangs over a bit and I thought I had narrow feet!) and small for being an EU40. Size also says 9 - 9.5 but they are smaller than larger. I’m afraid the next size up will be too large! Debating what to do because I love these so much and sizes are running out….. ?

The shoes fit perfectly! Having a low arch, I often find shoes that are too roomy but these shoes fit true to size. It also comes with an adjustable side Velcro strap that lets you go from a medium width to wide width in an instant. These shes are worth every cent that I spent on it!

I liked this sandal, quality and size spot on. I sent them back because I felt the Velcro on the side wouldn’t stay tight.

These are very cute sandals, but the toe loop on one side was bigger than the other, so one was too tight to be comfortable. Maybe I have asymmetric toes.

Great arch support and didn’t cut into the top of my foot like so many other slides

I like the look of these stylish sandals. However, my big toe was not comfortable due to rubbing on the leather. I'm returning them.

Pretty sandals if you have a wide foot. I tried to adjust narrower but the strap didn’t adjust correctly. It made the sandals fit unevenly.
