I need serious arch support or else my back aches etc. I can wear either Birkenstocks or my custom orthotics... OR, apparently, these sandals. I am IN LOVE. They are very cushy and have fantastic arch support. They are easy to put on and take off with velcro closures.

These Taos sandals are THE BEST if you’re looking for good arch support. I’ve got several styles of Taos sandals and love them all, but these are the best for support especially if you have ball of foot (metatarsal) issues. Additionally the design of the straps is excellent for getting them to fit, and they look good on. I e got them in Black and Tan and may get them in other colors. These give me relief as well as my expensive custom orthotics!!! Having good metatarsal and arch support in a sandal that’s also cute and comfortable makes me one happy person!!!

Live the lightweight cork bottoms and they fit really well…. Good arch support!

I have narrow feet so I bought these because of the promise that with all the velcro, I could adjust them to my feet. The strap across the toes adjusted well, but that strap that goes across the foot and near the ankle is hardly adjustable at all. They did snug up enough for my feet so I had to return them. But if you wear a medium width I think they would be fine. They seem very well made / high quality, and look pretty.

This sandal felt amazing. I just didn't love the color. It was too dark for my skin tone.

I just did a review for the brown pair. This pair fits the same, meaning that if you have Medium width feet, then this will probably fit you very well, and they are beautiful, high quality shoes. But I have narrow feet and was hoping the velcro across the food would allow me to snug up the shoe, but it cannot be snugged up very much. Had to return them.

Depending on the brand I wear a 10 or 11. I purchased an 11 and it fits great! The adjustability of the straps allows me to get a great fit. I apricots this because I’m the heat and when I am walking a lot, I will appreciate not getting blisters. The sandal is very lightweight due to the cork bottom. I typically get sore/painful in my metatarsal heads/ball of foot. With this sandal I walked 6 hours and felt no foot stress at all. I am a fan!

This is my favorite sandal. It looks good fits and feels very nice. I especially like the excellent arch support including in the metatarsal area which I must have these days. I like this so well that I have both the honey and black and May get it in additional colors as it really works for me. This one is a real winner!

I didn't like the toe box, it was too wide for me, too much excess material up there. Otherwise a well made and and comfortable sandal.

I really wanted to like these, but as soon as I put them on, the metal ring on the inside of the arch rubbed my foot. I usually wear medium-width shoes, but my feet are slightly wide. These shoes won’t accommodate more than a true medium. Cute sandals, though.

Unfortunately I have to return these sandals, they rubbed on my toes on one foot.

didn't fit my arch, and I was hoping the pewter would be a darker metallic, but it's more silver. Nothing wrong with the shoe, just not my taste.

I liked the look of this sandal. But the strap across the top of the foot was too close to my ankle and it felt too tight when I flexed my foot.

The leather on the brown sandals was already scratched when I received the sandals. Also, the arch support was in the wrong place for my foot.

Fit and size were good. Cork footbed is very stiff and uncomfortable.

They fit fine. But notice how one leather strap bends. Would you like that digging into the top of your foot all day? I can't fathom how these shoes exist let alone how some people like them. The design isn't just awful for comfort. That same bend is weird looking. Ugly and going to give you blisters. Oof.

I really wanted these to work. They are beautiful! However, they are made with an adjustable cross strap and the strap and buckle rub on the side of the foot.

This is a nice looking shoe, but the cork sole was stiff and uncomfortable, and I returned it. I agree with other recent reviewers, who commented that the newer Taos sandals are not as flexible and wearable as ones made a few years ago. I have several older Taos sandals and I keep looking for similar ones, but no luck recently, alas.
