I really wanted to love these shoes, but they ultimately only work if you have very wide feet. I tried multiple sizes (definitely size up at least a 1/2 size if not a full size for length) but my feet and ankles were totally swimming in these shoes. The back strap is not very adjustable either. Just beware if you have narrow feet.

These shoes are outrageously small. I'm normally a 9 in shoes and typically order 9.5 or 10 in sandals. I ordered the largest size in these shoes and they are comically small. They look like children's shoes.

these are for very specific feet, they are wide in the toe box and then very narrow by the heel. I wanted these to work because I like their style, but I don't have triangular feet, when these bizarre fits happen I wonder how they test their product?

I bought the black pair of these sandals back in June to be my go-to summer shoe, and overall I really love them! The fit was great (I'm a 7.5 and found them to be true to size), there was a very short breaking in period, and they go really well with both casual and dressier outfits. The only thing I don't love is that they show wear very visibly- I live in NYC and walk a TON, so I know that I'm very hard on my shoes. 3 months later, the stitching on the leather is getting a little fluffy and the black is chipping off (though very minimally) on high touch areas of the straps. The sole near the toe is starting to separate from the rest of the shoe, and they also show a lot wear on the bottom where I distribute my weight unevenly when walking. I will definitely continue to wear these once spring comes because there's really nothing wrong with them structurally, but they'll need to be a casual sandal only next year!

I was sure these were going to be the perfect sandal to solve my cute but casual sporty sandal dilemma, but they ended up being a disappointment. The style is great, but fit is slightly off - the toe strap didn't touch the top of my toes and the ankle strap doesn't have enough velcro to tighten the shoe to my foot appropriately. I liked the style so much that I decided to keep anyway, figuring that I would test run them for a week and then add an additional velcro patch if needed so they would be more secure. But after one day, the bottom sole came away from the white padding on the shoe (see picture). I'm hard on my shoes, but my $20 Target pair held up longer than these. For $130 sandals, I expect more. I'll be returning - and continuing the hunt for the elusive perfect summer sandal!

These completely run a a little bit more than a 1/2 size small. I normally wear a 9 with a comfortable amount of room. I ordered a 9.5 in these, and while they fit, I’m not sure they will once they stretch out. I have absolutely no wiggle room on length; I could have probably gotten away with a 10. I wore them around the house for a few minutes to see if they are in fact too small, and while I haven’t decided, I did decide that they are extremely comfortable, but I do notice the suction/sticky noise others mentioned.

Loved these sandals and they would have been wonderfully comfortable but for my extremely high instep. Now I’m looking for something very similar but without the strap across the instep.

I really expected so much more out of these shoes! I saw the brand advertised and it sounded so good! Maybe i just got an off pair? I am not sure. But they were not comfortable at all. The leather felt rough, and bottom was very flat and not flexible at all.

I really wanted to love these because they’re so cute, but they weren’t comfortable for my feet. The sole material is fairly rigid, and the footbed looks like it would be squishy, but it’s not. Also not much arch support, so these weren’t very comfortable. The leather material of the straps is nice though. Ultimately have to return because of comfort.

I love the style and quality of this shoe but it was too small and too narrow. I am an 8-8.5 and ordered this in a 9. The length of the shoe is fine (if not a bit long) but the front strap still felt tight and I felt like my foot was hanging off the side. I wish it came in wide sizes and I am sad to return it.

These shoes feel like socks! They are perfect for my narrow feet. I usually wear a size 8 but I got a size 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly! They go with a cute dress or jean shorts a great addition to a capsule wardrobe since they are so versatile.

You do need to wear the right socks, but the shoes are very cute and comfy with a great sole.

I was not familiar with this brand but I love these sandals. They were comfortable on the first wearing, and look great. Others have noted that they are wide, but I have wide feet so that worked for me.

I used the Soles4Souls program to get $40 off this purchase and the shoes exceeded all expectations. They have a fabulous cushioned sole, love the linen color (to hide some street wear), and are immediately comfortable. They go well with dresses and denim. Love these - and all the other 6 pairs of Nisolo's I own!

The shoes are super cute - even better in person. But they run small.

These sneakers are like walking on clouds. There is zero break-in time required. They look fantastic, and are just so comfortable.

Really cute shoes! Unfortunately they were a little stiff so they had to go back.

I ordered these sandals and the Sorel roaming sandal. I am keeping the Nisolo. I found them more comfortable and I thought the leather looked nicer than the Sorels. I wore them all day and found them to be stylish and comfortable. I also love the mission behind Nisolo (ethically made, 100% living wage). I did go up a half size as recommended by other reviewers and they fit great.

I ordered these in my normal size (8.5) since most of the reviews said they run true to size. However when I received them they were way too small. So small, in fact, that they fit someone who wears a 6.5. I hope there was not a mix up during packaging, but if not, these shoes run VERY small. I will be exchanging these for a much larger size (10) and hoping they fit better.

Put sandals on to see how the fit felt. They are perfect! Comfortable and soft on my feet. Very well made sandals.

This is my second pair. I bought the almond color, and I wanted to wear them all the time, so I decided to buy them in black, too. They look great and can be worn for walking all around. Perfect for summer!

Love these shoes for outdoor travel! Currently traveling in Mexico and they have saved my feet from the heat and the rocky terrain.

My first pair from this company but I doubt my last. Love what they stand for and although they are pricey, I'd rather invest in a great pair of sandals I'll wear all the time than a throwaway pair. I haven't had the chance to wear these outside the house yet because it's fall here but I see these becoming my go-to sandal this spring and summer - comfy for when I'm walking a lot but don't want to wear sneakers. I could wear them with a black sundress or shorts...super comfy and the 1" platform adds just a little height and some space between your foot and pebbles but isn't an ankle turner like some 3" flatforms.
