I got these as a replacement for my son's other waterproof Sketchers-I'm not sure the name of the shoe, but they were mostly black. These are not waterproof like those were. He's had them a little over a month and his feet and socks get wet easily. I try to buy waterproof shoes for him because we're outside alot, it seems that regular shoes get wet in morning grass, after rain, etc too easily. We've spent days waiting for these to dry out, just to have soak up water again. If you're looking for a completely waterproof shoes I'd try another style. The black Sketchers he's worn for almost a year were fantastic, but too small now and sold out in his size.

I bought these waterproof trainers in September for school. My son wore them right through to July and now he needs a size up. My son represents his school in athletics and football and runs around and plays sport constantly- these are the first trainers not to go through on top of the tow and not to wear right through in the sole. We usually get 8 weeks out of the top competitor brand before they fall apart. These are a Moms best friend!

I wear kids sizes and got these for myself when another kids waterproof shoe was no longer available in my size. I haven't had any issues with getting wet feet on grass or other wet surfaces or any inside area of the shoe. They seem to be decent and I have gotten a lot of compliments on how nice they look. They are also great for my line of work. They can feel slightly tight if the Velcro strap is pulled too tightly. With just Velcroing in place without further adjustments, they seem to be OK.
