Like other reviewer's have said, and I should've listened, the heels bit into my heels awful. I ended up with two huge dime size blisters by the sixth hole and had to go back and get my old shoes out of my truck and wear those for the rest of the round.

Hi-FJ are the only shoes I wear. Past few season the go-to was the awesome
Tour-X and before that, the Tour-S. Have been looking forward to the new release, the Tour Alpha. Comfortable when first put on and walking inside the house. However as a few reviewers have mentioned, when wore for first round I was shocked to feel pain in both heels from 1st tee onwards and developed signficant blisters in each. Wear FJ socks and also put band aids on after the first hole, and it was also a rare round where I was in a cart versus walking,
Never has happened in all the FJ shoes I've worn. 10.5M across all styles.
Wondering if anything to do with the carrying loop that interesting connects on the inside of the back of the shoe. Not sure why this was included in this version and the blisters developed where the loop connects - pic attaced.
I really wish the Tour Alpha would work as fit everywhere else and like the stability and comfort of the past shoes in this line.
Fortunately there are other FJ styles to turn to for the number one shoe company in golf.

Normally wear 8.5 in golf shoes and I have a pair of tour s and tour x, both very comfortable.
Tour alpha felt very big when I put them on, and the first time I wore them by the 12th I had blisters in three places on both feet. I've had to wear thick socks and buy some inserts and padding. Overall an expensive mistake really. I do love FJ shoes but these are a real let down.

Tried on a pair at golf galaxy and they were super comfortable. Ordered these direct from footjoy and what a disappointment. Just walked 18 hole Sunday and my feet are still sore. They looked like exactly the same pair of shoes, but simply must be different. Sigh

These shoes hurt the bottom of my feet due to very little cushion on the sole. I could feel the spikes eating on my feet. I could not finish 18 holes in a cart.

Well constructed show which felt comfortable on trying on. However had to abandon round after 6 holes as heel was cut to pieces.

Never had an issue with FJ shoes before. After wearing these to the range a single time, I developed immense patellofemoral syndrome. I was out for 2 weeks and moving gingerly. After recovering, I went to my old shoes and never had an issue again. Unfortunately, because these shoes did feel stable. I suspect that the insoles could be too soft for some including myself.

Ordered the same shoe about 6 weeks ago and it fit perfectly, 11M. But this pair seems to be wider and certainly does not fit as well. Not sure how they can be different. Footjoy is the only shoe I have ever worn, and always completely satisfied.

I've worn these shoes once and ended the round with blisters on both heals. The toe section is cramped, causing pain in the toes, all in all very disappointing and nothing like any other footjoys I've ever owned.

I have worn these for three rounds and in two of the rounds my middle toes in my back foot somehow twist and cause unbelievable pain. This has never happened with any other golf shoe. I play 5 days a week and will not wear these shoes again

Ive had a pair of these shoes and worn them 6 to 8 times and every time they have given me blisters on my right heel and sore toes, certainly would Not recommend them. Ive been buying F J shies fir some 25odd years and never had a problem.

I ordered this product with the option for expedited shipping, and it did not arrive on time. Instead, I left for a golf trip and was forced to visit a PGA superstore to purchase the same model shoe, but in a different color.
I am very satisfied with the shoe I purchased, but unfortunately I will now be required to return the pair originally ordered at a loss of shipping costs.

Very disappointed. I wore nothing but Footjoy golf shoes for 25 years, until they (apparently) changed their last about years ago, after which they just didn't fit me the same (too loose). I switched to Ecco, every pair fits perfect, every time, no break-in required. I thought I would try Footjoy again and bought the Tour Alpha. Too big in the heel, to tight across the toe, can't wear them as they cause extreme pain in my little toe. I tried two rounds, couldn't finish either one (had to switch to a pair of Ecco's mid-round). I like the design of the Footjoy, I just can't wear them any more.

Shoes look great but have ripped my heels to shreds. Still putting plasters on my heels when wearing these shoes 5 weeks in. For the price I paid for them, this is unacceptable and will not buy Footjoys again.

I've been a fan of the Tour series for a long time. I have a pair of the tour X boa as my go to. I purchased a pair of these last year and immediately noticed I had very sore heals after riding 18 holes. I walked a few rounds in them to see how they did and the completely destroyed my heals. The extra loop that they've added to the shoe rub constantly on the back of my heal and I can't wear them. It's unfortunate ALL of their athletic shoes currently have very high heal. I will probably be looking at a more traditional shoe or a different manufacturer as my current tour x are starting to wear out. A friend of mine has these shoes and doesn't have the same issue with his heal. buyer be warned. they are very comfortable but can't deal with the high heal.

Years ago I stopped wearing foot joy shoes due to foot pain. Recently I thought I would give them another try, so I purchased FootJoy Tour Alpha Golf Shoes. The best way to describe these shoes compared to the Ecco golf shoes I have been wearing is:
If the Ecco golf shoes feel like a comfortable running shoe, very nimble, and agile
The FootJoy Tour Alpha Golf Shoes feel like a pair of work boots

One shoe fits, good, the other shoe where the leather bends at the toe is very uncomfortable and puts pressure on the toe. After a round of golf, it makes for sore feet. Not at all happy with the shoes for the price. I've had much better foot joys.

Just sent back another pair of footjoys. Want support but, need comfort. Felt bad. Pinch points and nothing I have become accustomed to with this brand. So disappointed! Been wearing fj forever. Can't believe how they left me little choice!

wanted a stable shoe, it is. BUT wore it once and it got so loose in the ball of my foot area I could not tighten enough. Terrible since paid almost $200! I hope I can get refund but warranty says no. Terrible way to do business. I HAD been a loyal Foot joy customer for 35 years

Ordered this shoe Tour Alpha since I needed support. Length is correct but width, ordered medium as always, is wide and sloppy. I can not lace it tight enough. Totally not satisfied especially since I wore one and return not possible per Foot Joy. I have been wearing Foot Joy shoes for over 35 years and this is the last time I will purchase any product again from them. Very poor customere service!

The material these sues were made of looked like plastic. The fit was poor and rubbed my heels. Not a good shoe for the price I paid. These were returned!!!
