The Trekkers have always worked for me, this newer version is somewhat different in how it looks. But men, they look great and are super comfortable. I can't say that about a lot of the other purchases I have made from Timberland in the past. There is no effort or need to break this in at all. If you are looking for comfortable yet dressy ankle boots, these come highly recommended.

I use my Trekkers for long walks on concrete and dirt trails. Sometimes I wear them just to go to the store or walk the shopping mall with the family; that's how comfortable they are. They seem to look good with jeans, sweat pants, or shorts. I really like the Timberland emblem on the backside; it's become a real symbol of quality. I own several different types of Tims, so it's no big reach for me to say > these are all day comfort. #SWEEPSTAKES

Great addition to my casual attire.

I really liked my pair of boots. They are comfortable and look pretty sturdy. Hope they will last me a while. The regular width feels tad narrow, but wasn't a problem for me.

Is very nice boots I like

A great boot to wear around town with jeans or walking on trails. I wouldn't use these for long hikes on rocky surfaces as they wouldn't be best suited for that type of hiking; however, they are more than adequate for walking on dirt trails that aren't rocky. They don't have the protection or support for any type of climbing. I have been wearing Timberland's for over 20 years and I must say, these are possibly the most comfortable Timberland's I have ever owned. I use them basically as fashion boots and they are great for that.

The shoes are great and so comfortable. It's quite literally like wearing tennis shoes. I will say however the strings are a little short for double knots. I will they came in a darker color.

The Sewing on the tongue right before your toes puts too much pressure on the top of your foot. My foot still hurts and it's two weeks later now I wore the boot for two days
