First and foremost, I am not a huge fan of wearing boots. I much prefer simple shoes that I don't have to lace up every time, so I don't reach for my boots unless there is significant snow on the ground. Nonetheless, I obtained these Timberland Men's Lincoln Peak Waterproof Hiking Boots and recently gave them a try. The day that I first wore them, I was working outside amongst 8 inches of fresh snow helping to setup for an outdoor wedding. I must admit, they performed admirably and kept my feet bone dry! They were quite comfortable and felt like a pair of quality footwear while lacing them up. I have never owned a pair of Timberland's before but can see why they are popular. This particular pair is quite stylish with the medium gray real leather and has nice red and black accents. My only slight gripe is they seem to fit about half a size too big but they still work for me and I'm able to tie them tight enough to stay on and still provide good ankle support. I would certainly recommend these to others and would buy them again in the future. As much as I enjoy hiking, there isn't much exciting, strenuous hiking near where I live so I unfortunately won't be able to wear these boots too often but when I do travel I will be sure to take them to hike in!

I bought these boots for hiking. I'm an avid hikers and go almost every weekend for 3-5 hours. I'm so happy with this purchase, these boots are both comfortable and nice to look at, so I can wear them while hiking and not change them when going to the bars. I have beat them up a lot so far and they still look almost new and the scoffs they do have give them even more character - doesn't look bad. I anticipate I will be using these for the next 10 years. Definitely a value purchase. If you are on the fence about Tim boots, I would not think twice about it.

Best hiking boots . Will recommend to people who love hiking and travel

Run a little bit big, perfect for heavy socks or if you need braces like I do. These boots are quite possibly the most comfortable and supportive footwear I've found for my extreme case of varus heel.

I have only just started to wear them, but they are super comfortable and appear to be very durable. The one negative is the appearance. To me, these shoes aren't the most aesthetically pleasing. However, I also realize that they are not designed to be worn to black-tie events. I think they will do just fine in a storm or when I go hiking. Would definitely recommend.

I've used a handful of different hiking boots over the years. I've been partial to Columbia and Merrell. I am impressed with how these Timberland boots are such high quality! I think they're the best pair of waterproof boots I've worn to date. While other products have comparable waterproofing abilities, these boots do so while also looking more stylish. These are now my go-to boots for rainy or muddy hikes, or really anytime I want to ensure my socks aren't going to get wet from the outside. The ankle supports are robust yet comfortable. Sometimes I'm worried these supports will give me a blister if I wear thin socks but I'm not worried about that here. Definitely feel like a high-quality product. If my friends/family are in the market for waterproofing shoes at that price range, these would be the first pair that I'd recommend

Definitely waterproof! Tested that a few times accidentally but runs a tad narrow but it's perfectly fine with me. Comfortable fit for boots to walk in. I'd buy them

My husband was in need of some durable boots and he choose these. These were/are the best boots he ever have for work! They are comfortable and very stylish.

I practically only wear timberland shoes for last few years. The lincoln peak and Maddison boots are my favorite everyday shoes and timberland pros are my go to work boots. I do wish they had a more sneaker type style. For most part comfortable and durable for me in NC.

Wear them daily for all I do

Doesn't feel like a boot, but more like a durable sneaker. Plan on wearing these during the Spring and Summer. Already have 6 in boots for Autumn and Winter.

I wear these all day at work. I am on my feet most of the day and they feel like part of my foot. Just really comfortable.

Have to give it to em! This is by far the best work boot for golf courses. I know it's a hiking boot but wow! Great job Timberland

These were my first Timberland boots. I've always bought Timberland tennis shoes. It has been a great experience. They are beautiful and comfortable boots. Waterproof, durable, and ideal for hiking and walking long distances. A great product that I recommend! #sweepstakes
