I would've kept this but for two issues: just a bit too short for cycling, which is what I wanted it for; and the fabric is a little stiff and pretty "noisy." Otherwise, great features and good pockets, nice construction. And the olive-y green is a great color.

I love this jacket. It is great for city rain and to be out and about but it is NOT for hiking. I took it to a hike when it was raining quite a bit and I was soaked, along with all the belongings in my pockets. I was fairly disappointed and it is supposed to be waterproof and it is called a "hiking" rain jacket.
Glad I tried this on the trail before any long trips.

Jacket too short. I am also finding Columbia jackets amd blouses seem
to be made for smaller busted women!

I didn't like the fit of this jacket. It said it ran small but it actually was rather large on me when I sized up.

Many comments will tell you this runs small and to size up- don't do it. I usually get small in Columbia, and because of other reviews sized up to medium- I'm swimming in it. Otherwise quality is very nice though I'd prefer shorter sleeves and longer length of the jacket.

Thin, short, stiff jacket. Not comfortable wearing at all.

I wore this jacket in a light-ish rain for about 10 min. The fabric was wet and water DID NOT bead off the jacket. I did not get wet inside but there's no way I would trust this jacket on a rainy hike. In comparison, my last 2 rain jackets were Columbia "Wet Dry" series and they were amazing... Ahhhmazing. I could do hard labor in pouring rain for hours & nothing got through. My whole body soaked except where that jacket was. Sadly for some reason, when I tried to get a new Wet Dry jacket, they only came in a horrible black that looked like a trash bag, eww, vomit. So, this is disappointing because the "Hikebound" jacket was a nice price, pretty, fit well, had a hood that actually fit & covered my head.. If all you need is to stay dry from the car to the door, I guess this is your jacket. If you want to battle mother nature face to face? Keep shopping. Sad :(
Dear Columbia... Please bring back more colors in Out Dry... My Tangerine one from 7 or 8 yrs ago needs to be retired.

Jacket is great at keeping you warm and dry. Except the zipper splits at the bottom after you zip it up so it is kind of useless to keep it together.

I purchased this jacket to replace an older model that I loved. I was very disappointed with the quality of this one. The material has a particularly annoying noise as it rubs against itself.-

I bought the mango jacket. The listing picture shows a light blue jacket with mango colored interior. This is an error. The entire jacket is the mango color. Not what I wanted. Return process difficult to follow through with. Just gonna call this one a loss

I bought this jacket this year and found out during a rainy football game that isn't waterproof. The rain soaked right in and my sweatshirt underneath became damp. I wouldn't recommend.

I work outside and needed a new rain jacket. I've really liked Columbia hiking shoes and think the company in general is high quality so I was really surprised and upset that I got soaked while wearing this jacket in the rain both times I've tried it out. I'm willing to work in the rain in proper gear, but this jacket failed miserably at keeping me dry and I can't spend 8+ hours being cold and wet. There are no visible tears in the material so I don't know what the issue is. Very disappointed.

It wasn't as form fitting as the picture. It was too short in the front so I had to return it unfortunately
