I saw that these boots had negative reviews, but knowing the Hunter brand I decided to take a shot. Overall, I'm so happy with them! Really not sure why they have so many negative reviews. The material (rubber) feels both comfortable and very durable. They are a little stiff to take on and off, but honestly if you've ever owned a pair of Doc Martens, these Hunter boots are a breeze in comparison lol. There is a small slit in the rubber on the interior of the boot shaft which makes them more bendable for taking on/off as well as walking around. I went for a solid 20 minute walk in them and stayed comfortable the entire time. I probably wouldn't recommend these for a hike, but they are a solid pair of boots for getting around on a rainy day. I ordered a size 9 which fit perfectly (I'm usually a 9 or 9 1/2); they are form fitting with a little extra room.

Great looking short rain boots. Once you have on they are very roomy but when you first put on getting your foot in can be hard. Normal hunter sizing which runs a tad big

Size was okay for me once I made sure it was a womens and not a mens fit. I used to have the refined version of these boots and I liked them very much, but always wished they had grippier soles, so I bought these Commando boots for the soles. However, I don't find them as flattering due to the larger and rounded toe. What can I say...I was looking for some heavy duty rain boots and I got them, but I will only be wearing them for the purposes of walking in rainy/muddy spring and fall weather.

The look of the boot is cute but it’s very hard to even put your foot in! Once I barely got It on the size 8 for true to size but the opening of the boot was very narrow so I had to return them

Sizing was fine but the boot was extremely hard to put on. The boot top, even with the elastic wasn't stretchy enough to put my foot into the boot. I did manage to get it on eventually and the boot was comfortable. Then I struggled for 10 minutes to get it off. Since it's not made of leather (which can stretch somewhat) I doubt this boot would loosen up over time. The stiff rubber will not and I didn't want to take that chance. Sadly, I'm returning the Chelsea boot.

Great understated rain boot, can be hard to get foot in but once in plenty of room, took normal hunter size

Love the boots except they are extremely hard to put on- very tight around the ankles.

Wore these in snow for the first time, and my feet stayed dry, which was the purpose of me buying this shoe - success! I feel like there are much more fashionable rain/snow boots out there, but I was looking for function. I am usually an 8.5, sometimes 9. I ended up getting the 8, and with a boot sock, my toes are just touching the front.

The boots were great quality and fit but the elastic around the ankles was very uncomfortable. The shoes were difficult to put on and remove due to the elastic.

this is an usual boot regarding difficulty of getting on and off. i ordered 1/2 size down. 7.5 to 7 and shoe itself fit well. definitely need someone there to help w/one of them to get on and off. due to this, i have to return them. but, they’re really pretty and seem functional.

Wow not pretty

I am a true 7.5. I originally ordered 8s but once I got the boot on, they were too loose below the ankle. 7s ended up fitting perfectly, the only struggle was these are incredibly hard to get on and even harder to take off. Unless you have someone available to help pull them off every time, they are not worth it. I love the look of the boot but returned due to the difficulty of getting on and off.
