I absolutely love this shirt. The flannel is a nice medium weight and it's super soft! I wear them all the time. I own two other colors which are very versatile. I like layering them over a tee shirt. I don't think you will be disappointed with these shirts.

I am a loyal flannel shirt customer of LLBean as I live in the cold north plains. The plaid flannel organic shirt fit true to size. I got it in a small for my petite frame. The grey plaid is very subtle and I liked it immediately when I saw it. The flannel is soft but not flimsy. It's a great product and I would recommend it to a friend.

I purchased this shirt in the blue plaid and the gray plaid and I love them both. I keep my apartment cold in the fall and winter and this shirt over a tee is ideal when I want to sit and knit or watch TV. The fit is great, enough room to move easily but I'm not swallowed by it.

WOW! This flannel shirt is the best! I have always had to turn to my husband's flannels to find one that is warm and hefty as the days get colder...(women's flannels always see to be flimsy and lightweight). But this women's flannel has nice heft to it, and at the same time is the softest flannel shirt I have ever felt...softer than chamois! It is soft like alpaca or cashmere...seriously! You will be really impressed. The best part for me is the fit! I can never find button down shirts to fit over my bustline and have come to expect that I'll need to wear a t-shirt or camisole underneath so I can unbutton the top buttons. BUT ..this one actually fits and in fact has about two inches of extra room....so even after washing and drying, I am not concerned about it still fitting. Well done LLBean...Well done! In fact, I like it so much that I will be wearing it for a photography session with my husband and dog celebrating autumn next weekend. I wore it on a test run today to the market and got so many compliments! I will be back to but some more! But, feel free to consult me and other customers about color options for next years selections...LOL! :) The one I got (navy and white buffalo check) was the only color that was a knockout winner to me this year). Maybe even some solid color selections? I am dreaming of one in a blue spruce heather color....(green with shades of blue and grey flecks)....OOH LA LA!

I own 2 of these shirts, and I love how well fitting, soft and comfortable they are. I would love to have one in every color! My only disappointment with the shirt is that they do not come in Tall for taller women. My daughter is 5'10" and has long arms, and the sleeves are very short on her. I am 5'3", with short arms, and the sleeves just barely hit above my wrists. Many women are much taller these days who I think would appreciate sizing for tall women. My daughter would love to own one of these shirts, and I wish I could buy it for her. LL Bean, please consider stocking clothes for tall women as you do men.

Fabric and colors: This shirt is cloud soft and very heavyweight flannel. The fabric is wonderful. I chose the "sea blue" buffalo plaid, which looks like aqua and royal blue in person. I did not expect this shirt to be any different from the Scotch plaid flannel shirts, but it is heavier and softer. Fit: I am a 2x in LLBean hi-pile fleece jackets and in perfect fit bootcut yoga pants, but I size up to a 3x for shirts and sweaters. (I like those to fit a little more loosely and not look tight across my chest.) The 3x in this fits like an overshirt, so it is true to size for a 3x but slightly roomy on me (which is what I wanted). I can wear a t-shirt underneath it comfortably and still button it without tightness in chest, stomach or hips. I highly recommend this shirt!!!

I put this on and somehow didn't take it off. Love the thick, soft fabric. I purchased my regular size Medium (I'm an 8). It feels big and boxy, and is too thick to tuck. Love the low-contrast gray-and-cream plaid.

You know when you get a piece of clothing that you just know you're going to keep forever? Something that you know will always be one of your favorite pieces? That's this shirt. It's so well made and so soft. It's a heavy flannel material. Perfect to wear as "shaket" Shirt/jacket. I purchased a medium and felt like it ran on the looser side which is fine. I probably could have pulled off a small if I wanted a fitted look but I'm comfortable in the medium and this is a relaxed fit shirt anyway. I was a little concerned because I'm a stickler for soft, comfortable, breathable fabric. It's requirement #1 for me. I saw a few people mention that they were surprised by course material of this shirt. I did not find that AT ALL. I like jersey sheets...rayon and modal fabric for shirts and dresses when I can find them. I must have soft stuff and I am telling you guys this shirt is soft! Anyway, I love it. I also think it would make a great gift.

I love this shirt! It fit perfectly in size M and is very cozy. I have not washed it yet. I am 5'8", 155 lb. I ordered size L, but exchanged it for size M.

Soft thick organic flannel. The fit and feel of this shirt is great. I have other LL Bean flannel shirts and I love those too. But this flannel is heavier and softer.
