Bought this after wasting a lot of money on a North Face equivalent. The design of this bag is extremely well thought out, and the quality speaks for itself once you get your hands on it. Money well spent.

I've always been a fan of duffel bags in terms of flexibility and how much it can hold. The PD Travel Duffel exceeds expectations by being incredibly stylish, convenient, and hold onto way more than you would expect. It's an incredibly high quality bag at a reasonable price when you benchmark it against other name travel brands.

I am an 18 year old high school athlete who works out everyday I use this bag everyday for the gym and when I leave for weekend trips. All I can say is peak design can take my money. This is the BEST quality bag I've ever owned. when I bought it the 65L was not an option, however I am thinking about getting a second bag that is 65L just in case lol. 10/10 recommend, if you aren't sure which bag to go with, absolutely go with this one!

I bought this bag after I recently spent a few months in Europe with a different product. This product makes it so easy to get on a busy train in Paris with the Everyday Bag, and know all of my items for a photography trip are secure and organized. It works just as well for a quick camping trip or an overnight bag. This bag will get a ton of use!

I got this bag for my new weekend trip go to.I'd give it a 9.9 out of 10 !!! Amazing quality & simple design with nice large main area. The only tiny nitpick is that I wish the magnets in the handle were a bit stronger. They work ok but there not as clamped together as I would like. Overall if you need a true duffel bag with some modern swag this option is hard to beat!!!

I've bought this duffel for a Graduation gift for several nephews. It is a great travel bag and I am envious each time I see it. Features are amazing and the design is modern with a form follows function approach. Quality is top notch. As soon as my old travel bag gives way I'm getting a Peak Design product

I gave this duffel to my husband as a Christmas gift and he is thrilled! It is perfect for our active lifestyle. This waterproof bag with well thought out features will be great for the gym, and as a carry on or weekend bag for travel. The adjustable straps and various pockets make it very customizable. The quality is super, and it should be enjoyed for decades to come. The sage color is really nice!

I bought this last year for land travel and it's just the perfect size for weekend trips or even a week out. It's also a great secondary travel bag with its grab handles, shoulder strap, or as another backpack when navigating narrow streets. The weather resistance and great design are very much appreciated. There may be cheaper alternatives but the quality and warranty do not come close. I don't think I'll look for another duffle bag.

I've travelled thousands of miles with this bag and it has never let me down, it's a simple empty volume with just the right amount of organizational pockets. I've used the different carry styles on a few occasions as well, a nice touch.

Brilliant bag. Good for a weekend trip and very versatile. Often use it as a backpack when its full then as a sling when its a bit less full.

I was looking for a duffel that I could take on planes and trains. This bag has all the functional necessities. Perfect amount of space, internal and external pockets. But for me, it's the small details that make it stand out: The modular straps, the support framing, the mesh compartments, the lockable zippers, the magnets in the handles, and so on. This is a well designed bag. Thank you

I purchased this because I was not happy with my other two backpacks, which I use primarily for travel and the gym. Like the other PD items I have purchased, this is a quality product including materials, zippers and workmanship. A lot of design effort was spent on human factors, as It is easy to pack / unpack and carry and it has internal and external pockets for easy access. Very happy with this duffle bag. Excellent warranty.

I bought one of these bags, along with a camera cube insert, to replace my backpack setup for my photography work. It turned out to be a much superior solution to my personal way of working! Its extremely strong, sturdy and yet compact. I loved it so much I bought a second one to use a normal weekender duffel! Ive convinced a couple of others to buy it too! Great job with this design and product.

Perfect size for flight carry on. I use it with a small camera cube with plenty of space left for sweater, neck pillow, earphones, iPad, etc. All the zips are of top quality like all Peak Design products and the outer material feels very rugged and premium at the same time. Well done again PD team!

Bought my bag week ago. Good design and style. Only downside carry on handle doesn't feel premium as it not ergonomic in hand and magnet don't hold. Wish PD can send all the customer replace handle as gift.

I've only used this bag for one road trip, so this is not a super detailed review. But it was excellent. Fits a lot inside while still looking compact and elegant on the outside. And the materials and sewing are very high quality. The shape is a little different compared to other duffel bags, which helps when packing and unpacking, and makes it more spacious inside. With packing cubes it becomes even easier to fit more and more items inside. I'm using packing cubes from a different brand that I already own, but I'd imagine Peak Design packing cubes would maximize the carrying capacity. My minor complaint is that the two handles don't attach to each other very strongly. The magnets are not strong enough. I know Peak Design knows how to make good magnets because I use their phone case, so I'm not sure why they're using weaker magnets on this duffel. This only applies when using the handles to carry the bag in one hand for 10+ minutes while it's packed heavy. Most people will use the shoulder strap in this situation anyway. Another thing to consider is storage of this bag when not using it. A lot of competing duffel bags can be folded into a pocket for compact storage. This bag does not fold into a pocket, but it can be folded down flat. If you live in a tiny apartment and are planning to use this bag for occasional travel and store it while not using it, you'll probably have to store this bag flat above your wardrobe or someplace like that. It may fit into a large suitcase when flat. All in all, I highly recommend this produc

I bought the Travel Duffel at the Black Week sale, with a medium and a small packing cube. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the quality of the materials, the pockets and how well it fits with the packing cubes. The shoulder strap is also super nice. I like that it's easy to get into the bag, as the opening is large. The multiple strap attachment points are also nice. My gripes are with the carrying handles. They are uncomfortably thin, which you feel especially if it's heavy. There are magnets in the handles, which makes them stay together when you aren't using them. But as soon as you pick them up, they separate. I just ended up detaching the handles and I only use the shoulder strap.

Having used this bag for a few trips now, I can say that I do think its a great duffel, but theres a few small things that a "v2" would greatly benefit from: many of which are mentioned elsewhere but more info is always good. The Good: Using this bag with Peak design's packing cubes works fantastically well. Whether packing clothes in it or some hardware, they really do make packing this thing a breeze, and even without them the size of the bag and the generous side pockets make it really flexible. The shoulder strap padding is far more comfortable than other bags I've owned, and the big handles on either end also add a lot of easy maneuvering on planes/overheads. The Not so good: The side handles are, for me, a total miss and borderline terrible. The magnetic hold on these simply do not do anything to hold them together to the point of thinking they had forgotten to put magnets in mine. I understand from other design choices that hook and loop isn't Peak designs favorite approach, but the magnets just do not work to combine these into a single handle. No matter what angle They're gripped at, when lifting the bag they WANT to come apart. They are also just not comfortable at all as backpack straps, something that is an advertised secondary option. Its nice that this was considered, but the design of the strap itself just isn't comfortable for this. The lack of adjustment makes getting the straps on your shoulders annoying, and they're too thin to distribute weight well and just feel like they're digging in. That being said, the attachment mechanism for the bag, with multiple options to attach to, is a great design choice, and I cant help but feel would be even better with a good handle. Its a very addressable issue, and either a "backpack" set of straps or just a better set of handles would go a long way to improving them (and easy to retrofit due to the design!) The only "missing" feature on this bag, given its size and use case, is a way to easily pass a roller bag handle through and keep the duffel on top while on the move. you can kind of do this with the grab handles, but the one closest to the roller bag handle is too loose to really hold the bag in place like this, and the farther handle need to be yanked to get it over the roller bag handle. Its secure at that point, but also doesnt sit flat on the roller bag like that. Overall: if you're looking for a smaller duffel, its still a pretty good bag, but its held back from being a GREAT bag because of how bad the handles are to use. They've tried to design them to be clever, which is a huge part of what makes peak design's gear nice, but I can't help but think this desire to be clever has negatively impacted the usability.

I've had the bag for over two weeks. I was considering a new duffel bag for traveling . In general I travel with an adidas standard duffel bag. I went in store and seeing it in person made me purchase it. I didn't think the bag would be enough as a carryon but seeing it in person and how sleek it is changed that. I just came back from a 10 day trip in Africa . I purposely overpacked to see the capacity of this bag. I also brought a medium cube bag. Definitely worth the purchase and serves my purpose. Glad I went in store and did my research.

Fit and finish is top notch PD. Only thing I wish it has is a luggage pass-through for roller bag carry. Would really help for the use cases when you carry this w/ a roller.
