Love this shoe! Bought it for a trip to Iceland which will entail a lot of hiking, but took them with me to a recent trip to Breckenridge. Wore them both snowshoeing and running on a snow-packed trail and my feet stayed warm and did not get wet. The shoe is very comfortable and fits similar to other Saucony shoes I have purchased before. Definitely recommend.

I bought these shoes specifically to hike in Zion National Park. I am so glad that I did. I typically don't leave reviews, but these shoes deserve it. For reference, the conditions were snow on the trails with streams and puddles. I was able to keep reaction on the snow and keep my feet dry even after stepping in a stream. I was worried my sock would be wet, but it was completely dry. There was enough room in the toe box and room for a curex insert which I normally put in my shoes. Overall, definitely recommended for hiking.

They just arrived, but I love them right out of the box. I have slightly narrower than average feet and these are a slim fit without being tight. The heel cups nice.y and the sole offers a nice supportive feel. The lugs are nice and sticky feeling and won't grab dirt. The outer finish looks easy to wipe off and the greyish tone won't look as filthy as black trail shoes get. I am size 8, but I ordered 8.5 because I don't like to feel squished. These are perfect with a light summer sock.

I absolutely love this shoe! It keeps my feet warm & dry on wet, sloppy days. I no longer have frozen toes! And the tread is great, I haven't slipped yet! Great investment for trail running, walking on Canadian wintery days where you don't need boots.

Great waterproof shoe for hiking. It's perfect for river crossings or when the trails are muddy. I like that they are waterproof but still breathable so your feet don't stay sweaty.

I love the trail shoes for icy weather and they keep most of the sand out.

I have uaed The several times now in snow/ice and muddy conditions. Held up well and my feet were not wet at all, even after stepping in a puddle where even the top of the shoe was submerged in water. Comfortable shoe as well

I have taken this pair out on snow, mud, and ice. I did have some slips while descending on unexpected ice, but also realize that it's a little unrealistic to expect a shoe to handle it all. My feet stayed warm and toasty even on bitter cold trail runs. My other trail shoe is a Peregrine 11, so I don't know if the 12s run small or if the GTX causes it to run small, but they are tighter than the 11s. Still my favorite trail shoe!

I got these mostly to keep my feet warmer. And they are working great for that. Great shoe for trails at a reasonable price.

Fit and size were perfect. I weigh 100 lbs so these shoes, which are very lightweight but have incredible tread, are perfect for me, except in exceptionally mucky trail running conditions. My feet are very happy!

I love how these keep my feet cozy on winter/fall runs. The grip is great and a huge step up from my regular runners in the snow/icy. Totally comfortable.

I walk 15 km a day and these shoes are great. They have good grip to the road and the vortex keeps my feet dry. The only concern is they fitb a little snug.

Great shoes -- precise and protective on rock despite being light weight. I have non-GTX version and use them mostly for hiking and scrambling. Wanted GTX for winter but local running store doesn't have them so I ordered from Zappos, not realizing that my old ones are size 8 wide. The size 8 medium from Zappos were very tight in toe box. I'm returning instead of exchanging them because Zappos doesn't carry wide width. I don't usually wear wide shoes, so these seem to run narrow.

Size is a bit off. I have another pair of runners, 8, they fit well. I had to get 8.5 for these ones, and I think they are big. Laces are too long. I had blisters on the first 2 trails. The sole, however, is very good, grippy, went to hike in drizzle and big rocks, and sole seemed to me very adherent. Toe box is big enough, it felt ok.

LOVE these...wore them all Winter and into the damp Spring. Very comfortable design and keep my feet dry. I am disappointed that the padded collar around the top has ripped.
