I have had this tent for about 4 years now and have been more than satisfied. I've taken it on on more than 30 trips as well as some backcountry treks and it has preformed perfectly every time with still virtually no signs of wear. It is the perfect size to fit a queen air mattress if you are looking for comfort or if you want to squeeze you could fit 3 people on sleeping mats. I've tested it in high winds and rain and never had problems getting wet or cold. This tent is incredibly easy to set up every time and really has stood the test of time. I can definitely see myself buying another one if anything were to happen to my current tent.

All in all, this is a very solid tent, but there's already a few little issues after day one. I love the size of the tent compared the weight. It's super spacious and has great head clearance. The set up was fairly easy and straight forward. This is dumb, but I have the orange fly and the early morning light beaming through the tent makes for a very cheerful and sunny wake up. Not overly bright though. The downsides are the fly zippers, the poles, and the stakes. The fly zippers got stuck on fabric almost every time I used them and I have to un-lodge them to work correctly. The end of the cross tent poles kept coming apart and the internal bungees are the only thing keeping them together. I had to push them back in numerous time when pitching the tent. This could be an issue in the future. Lastly, 4 of my stakes are bent in half on the first use. The V-Stakes are much better and should just be included with the tent. I'm going to have to toss the basic stakes and buy new ones, which I'm not thrilled about. I had a Minis Bus 23 for 13 years previously and didn't; have any of these types of little issues until the fly finally failed. I have a feeling this will be a great bread and butter tent in the long run, but these little annoyances could affect the performance for years to come.

I used this tent for the first time in the Smokey Mountains this summer (summer '24) and a strong thunderstorm hit us for about 16 hours. There were four other people with different tents... all had water that permeated except for my Stormbreak (I guess you could say it really did Break the Storm - sorry of the pun). The tent cover provides a good amount of cover around the tent and is supported off the tent keeping water from coming through where items may be touching the wall. Additionally, the floor of the tent comes up probably 6-8" which helped keep the flowing water around my tent OUT (Most of the other tents in our group got water in them from water flowing around their tent vs the rainfall itself). Two of the other guys in our group ended up buying my tent after they saw how well it held up. I would 100% recommend this tent to anyone.

I had a Stormbreaker 2. It had rips in the first night of use. Customer service reached out and gave a refund&coupon, I upgraded to the Stormbreak 3 and it's been perfect for months. Get the 3, not 2.

Purchased this tent for car camping activities to replace a worn out 3-person 4-season Mountain Hardwear tent. We chose this tent because of the full fly. It did not disappoint! The full fly is fantastic. This is easy to set up and break down. The price can't be beat. It's hard to find 3-season tents with a full fly, quality materials, and this size - at this price point! I gave it 5 stars because I was skeptical about the price and quality, but was so happy about the purchase after my first night in it!

So easy to assemble! I was late getting to my camp site and the quickness of putting up this tent made it so I want doing everything in the dark! There was also a wild windstorm one evening and the tent held its ground and didn't tear at all. Just enough room inside for me to bring everything in and still feel comfortable with the space. I felt so cozy!!

Super easy to put up, perfect size for myself, my husband and our dog. Would recommend a liner for the floor as material is very think and I put gym matts down so our dogs paws don't rip it!

Ordered this tent specifically for my daughter & I. It fit both our cots perfectly. Having 2 doors with 2 vestibules was ideal. It also weathered high winds during a tornado warning, hail & plenty of rain. Great purchase!

First time out with the storm break 3 , it rained 5 out of 6 nights and didn't leak a bit . Easy set up and actually fits back in the bag it comes in easily . Best tent I've ever bought !

Small package (easy for motorcycle camping) and light. Excellent quality and meets all my expectations as a well made north face product.

I purchased this to go camping with my daughter's scout troop. I love that it's super light and small and I can put it up by myself with a minimum amount of poles. I debated between the 2 & 3 and I'm glad I got the 3. The plan is to be in it by myself, but if needed, my daughter could share it with me. The rain fly is well designed and held up great during the early morning rain. It's all function and no fuss. I got a lot of compliments!
Wishes- I wish it came with more stakes for the additional rain fly lines, but I didn't even untie them for the trip I went on. I also wish it had a matching footprint.

love the orange color to spot our students in the woods a little easier, a nice size for 3 people but still isn't too big of a package while packing.

Good replacement for my The North Face Rock32. A bag for the poles would have been nice, though.
