Happy with these, lovely handmade quality. Like Sperry's other Made in USA models they are made in Maine by a company called Rancourt. I went true-to-size and find them to fit great barefoot with a little room, a bit more snug with socks but still comfortable. If you are the type to buy boat shoes tight and hope they stretch and mold around your foot, I would advise sizing down 0.5 from your measured size unless you have wide feet. The suede is gorgeous, the tan color is a rich golden brown. The shoes are overall less stiff and structured than regular leather. Footbed is stiff at first but should mold over time. There's not any arch support however. The rubber sole on these feels on the heavy side but I got used to it quickly.

Remarkably well made. The Vibram sole is noticeably stiffer and heavier than the Gold Cup and provides a less cushioning feel.

Beautiful shoe! I have been a Sperry wearer for many years. My previous pair - which are still going strong - was a Gold Cup set. I saw these and thought how much I'd like to try them. I will admit the price was initially steep, but a recent sale made them too good to pass up on. Out of the box these scream quality. I love that they were hand assembled in Maine, you can feel the craftsmanship in them! The leather is stunning and the Vibram sole is a pleasure to stride in. I plan to wear these with socks in the fall/winter months and they fit like a dream (even with Darn Tough wools on) . It is clear it will take a moment to break them in which is expected with a high quality shoe (having a pair of Red Wing 1907's makes break in experiences with any shoe a breeze). Also, growing up wanting to be James Bond and knowing Sunspel provided Bond some clothing in his recent movies added a serious cool factor for me personally. I recommend them if it is something you have interest in! I love these and look forward to many years of use in them like my past pairs have provided. Sizing was accurate with past Sperry boat shoes I have purchased (Gold Cup and Original)

Size and width is true to size. A little tight for me at first due to wide feet but it's been settling well into my feet and stretching width wise. Suede is buttery soft but still thick and you can feel the quality of the leather (considering it's from C.F Stead). Saw on Sperry website that it is handcrafted by Rancourt in their Maine factory, and for the price I paid on discount, it's great value.

Perfect summer/spring shoes. The insole fell nice and smooth. The upper is a little tight, but probably will relax overtime. I ordered the same size as dress shoes, and 1/2 size down from sneaker, and they fit perfectly. The suede looks good, fit the space between sneaker and loafer. Got the Ameretto, which looks just like the photo. The welt is a little less loud/orange than the photo, which is good. The outsole seems a little thinner than what the photo shows. Overall, look better in person. Thanks to the other reviewer, they are made in the USA by Rancourt., according to Sperry website.

I ordered size 10 since that is what I've worn in the past in this style. I was expecting a more luxury feeling shoe with the Sunspel collab, but was very disappointed. I would suggest ordering at least a half size up.
