Fit was perfect, I wear an 8.5 and that's what I ordered, so glad to see that Chaco is finally offering half sizes. In all of their sandals I wear the 8 because the 9 is too big but I can't wear any of their closed back shoes in the 8. This foot bed is exactly the same as wearing their Z sandal. Some of the Chaco shoes don't have the sandal foot bed so I was thrilled when these came that they do have it. SUPER light weight, very stylish and they are made with a thinner canvas material. Very comfortable. The backs can be worn pushed down for a slide on shoe, but I think the fabric is too thick for that to be comfortable to my foot so I wear it like a regular shoe. Super perfect shoe for summer wear, probably won't wear much in the winter. I will be ordering at least two pairs, possibly three because Chaco rarely offers shoes with the sandal foot bed and I want to wear these for 20 years!!!! Thanks Chaco!!!

This is my first pair of Chackos. I didn’t know what to expect. Wow, I love these sneakers! These remind of the old style Kalso Earth shoes of the late ‘70s. I am usually a 9.5 M in flat style shoes and sneakers. I read and read reviews with sizing recommendations. I decided to size down and they fit perfectly with a little less than a thumbs width at the tip of my large toe, which is my longest digit. The arch support is a bit more than I am used to but that’s okay. It doesn’t cause a problem with my gait. Buy them! You will be happy you did.

The shoes feel a little "cheap" because they are so light. However, they were exactly what I was looking for. I have one of their other styles that looks more like a woolen bedroom slipper (the Revel) for wearing inside the house for support on wood floors, and I wanted something that had the same kind of support but didn't look quite so "homey". These fit the bill just fine. I'd be happy to wear them outside in the summer too if I wanted to look preppy, but yeah, no - not down with the preppie. But overall, I like 'em.

I love the comfort and arch support of these shoes. I wear them whenever I can, even when traveling and doing a lot of walking. WIsh they came in darker colors like black and brown to wear in the winter months with pants. They are amazing shoes, very supportive, and hold up and look nice.

I love these shoes! Like all Chacos, the arch feels a bit "much" initially. I ordered a 7.5 and wanted to get a second pair. I decided to try a 7, since in the sandals I had to size down for a perfect fit. Don't size down ladies - 7 was much too small. I am a 7.5 generally, and you should order your true size in these Chillos. But definitely get yourself a pair. They are cute enough for a skirt and tee on a casual night out, and easy to slip into for running around.

Bought these for the arch support, and Chaco does not disappoint. I have a narrow heel and wide forefoot, so the fit is perfect.

These are very well made, and shockingly lightweight (the first pair of chacos I ever tried were so heavy!). I think they are very good-looking and the arch support is great, but sadly I had to return, because the back of the shoe is so high and the edges stiff, it digs into my ankle bone on both feet. This is not something I've had happen with any other shoe, so these are just cut unusually high in the back. I have a wide forefoot, high arch, and slim ankles and these were just right in width. So bummed... (I ended up keeping a pair of Vionic beach pismo shoes in 9W which are almost the same color, and the same wideth, with slightly less arch support, but way softer material and no stiff edges dig into my foot).

These just didn’t work out for my feet. The arch was too high and too hard for me, but it would suit someone with a higher arch, I presume. Also, the stitching hits at the ball of my pinky toe and put a lot of pressure there, which was uncomfortable for me. They might still have worked, but they were too loose. The elastic knot is impossible to untie, and I felt like if I put a second knot in and they still didn’t work out, I wouldn’t be able to return them, because I had put an extra knot in it.

I have another pair of Chacos that I love and I ordered this one with high hopes. It is such a cute shoe. I really wanted to keep it, however, it has a lot of arch support and that is not good for a supinator like me. If the insole had been removable I would have replaced it with my orthotic and it might have been perfect. The search continues.

I liked these and they did have a big toe area, although wearing them for a few minutes they started to make my feet hot. I was looking for a loafer that I could wear without socks. They have a very high arch also.

I have a narrow foot with high arch. The arch support is good, but the toe box is large and oversized. I tried to make the shoe work . . . bought both a 7.5 and 8. Unfortunately there were fit problems with both.

Great arch support but in the wrong place because the shoes run about 1/2 size too big.

I bought them because another reviewer mentioned the 'authentic' Chaco arch (which might be too aggressive for some). I'm keeping them, but their appearance doesn't shout out quality. The canvas looks a little low budget.

Pros of Chaco Chillos: Cute casual style!! Love the fold-down back heel, and it actually didn’t feel weird underfoot. Did not make my feet look clunky. Forefoot seemed comfy. Felt airy without socks. True to width. Cons: Felt tight with socks over my mid foot. Arch was too long, broad and hard for my mid foot, but felt soft and roomy in forefoot. When I folded down the heel, one of creases on the inside rubbed one foot funny. Not as versatile as I’d like this show to be. White would have been more versatile than gray for me. I ordered 8s. About me: 7.5-8, EU 38-39, 24.1 cm. Normal width (rarely wide). Delving into shoes with arch support as I’m beginning to get plantar fasciitis. Likes: slip ons or sling back styles and some modest-mild height because I’m short. I am a travel minimalist (1-2 shoes), so always on the lookout for the shoe that is stylish, comfortable for tours or even mild hiking, can transition from day to night/ beach to dinner, and doesn’t scream grandma. If you have that shoe, lemme know.

Fit was large, especially in width. Arch too far back which made shoe uncomfortable.

These actually fit just fine. The trouble was the quality of materials. You get what you pay for I guess. They were only $59. The upper felt like it was so thin it might tear. There’s absolutely no liner or insert. Not the quality I associate with Chaco. I’m returning them.

Really cute design but so uncomfortable which was immediate. I love Chaco sandals as do many others. These just don't cut it and had to return.

I was a Chaco customer for many years, probably close to fifteen - twenty. Their sandals were recommended to me by a local running store. I have narrow feet, no arches and pronation and Chacos could be adjusted for a perfect fit. For fifteen years they saved my life. Because they lasted forever, I tried to order when the last sandal let go but to my dismay... the old Chaco is no more and after many tries, I will no longer attempt their sandals. Now I have only their Patagonia walking shoes from thirteen years ago. I wanted something a little "cuter", but I find the same thing has happened to their shoes. Such a shame. I give up. I will not be returning any Chaco's after these, because I will not order anymore. Sad.
