I love the cushion and comfort of these shoes, and you really do feel these shoes propelling you forward on your runs, however there was stitching on the inside of the shoe just below the outer side of my ankle that cut up my foot a bit/was uncomfortable, which is why I'm giving this a 4/5 stars.

My absolute favorite shoes!!! I have already run a fast track workout, an easy 7 miler, a tempo 9 miler and and 18 miler in these shoes with no problem. I even PR'd my 10K accidentally on my tempo run. The good: - Very little soreness after long runs, I believe the carbon has something to do with this - You will run faster, I have no doubt -- everything just feels easier and more springy - They are very light weight, besides appearing clunky - They look great - though white is hard to keep clean (TMI, I am missing a nail on my left foot and white was not my friend when the toe started acting. #tiedye) - Little to no break in time - Price for this carbon shoe is much lower than the competition - I love that the tongue is not a flap, it makes the shoe feel more stable for me -Finally, a shoe with short, normal, high quality shoe laces, hallelujah! -They are an American company with most factories here, yay! The bad: - You will probably need a shoe horn to get into them if you don't want to slowly damage the heel getting them on - They have a thick midsole at 47mm - I read somewhere that this would be illegal in elite competition - DEFINITELY size up, even if a half. I wear 6.5 in Hokas and most Altras, 7 in Asics and had to get a 7.5 in this shoe. I tried this shoe on in a running store and couldn't believe I had to go so big, but otherwise the toe box would have crushed my toes. The tongue is also not a separate flap, so if you go too small, you might. not be able to squeeze your foot in. -I also tried thick socks and wasn't able to get my foot in this one, which is okay since I won't wear these outdoors in the winter. -Some people complain of the right side of the ankle digging in, though I didn't experience this - The ankle IS high, but I love the stability and support Overall, these are stellar. I'm getting them in green next.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka, Altra, Asics

I've only had these shoes for about two weeks and the toe areas of the shoes are already wearing. Expected better quality due to the hefty price.

I am a long time NB walker/ runner. This model has style, comfort and stability. Love them

This shoe is terrible if you already run on your forefoot. The rocker design is meant to get you from your heel to toe quickly but if you're already on your toes it will be competing with your natural gait. Does not work for me but the shoe is durable and probably great for most. Normally a huge fan of NB. I'll stick to the rebels for the win! If you're a heel striker go for it because it lasts way longer and is more affordable than other super shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable and provide support all day. I bought them mainly for running but have worn them for day to day activities. They are very soft and springy under my foot and I love the feel of that!

Stylish, comfortable, supportive and cushioned. I’m going to order the red pair as well. I would recommend these shoes to anyone whether looking for a shoe for running or for just personal wear. They’re awesome.

For nearly 10 years I have only worn Hokas for running (3-5 miles) or any kind of athletic class. I needed a new pair of shoes and wanted to try something new. I had no idea i would be so happy with something other than my Hokas. Highly recommend for anyone with plantar fasciitis who also wants to continue running. I also have always put inserts (arch supports) in all of my sneakers. Recommend those as well.

I run half marathons and have worn NB1080 wide for years. Recently I started having an ache at base of big toe (arthritis) No more pain with the carbon fiber shoe! Be sure to order half size larger.

Go to 50km ultra trainers, they propel you forward and cushion you on the landing. Leg recovery was phenomenal. Enjoyable, carefree running, made the miles go smoothly. Did not irritate bunion, thank you for making wide!

Love the style and color combo. Very lightweight too. Bought my usual 8 and they are too short and too narrow. No other sizes to try so I returned and went elsewhere for an 8 W. Still waiting for those. New Balance is definitely my go to walking 4 miles per day. Highly recommend

These shoes are a dream. I just wanted to get out and walk more. I love wearing them and feel like I’m on a cloud. I walk more and faster. The top material is a bit thin and might wear out fast. I am not a runner, but I might be soon! I love them. I purchased a 9.5 wide. They fit like all my other 9.5 Wide shoes. Happy with my purchase.

I have wider feet but don’t usually order wide shoes. I am usually 7.5-8 and first ordered these in 8W. they were small. I exchanged for 8.5 Regular, and they were perfect. These are just the most comfortable running shoe - truly feels like running on a marshmallow. My feet and knees were taking a beating with my Saucony shoes, and I also tried Brooks. But I am 60 years old and training for a marathon, so I needed real foot and knee protection. I look forward to running in these shoes, it feels fun and my feet and knees feel great after, no jarring! I did read several pro reviews on these shoes and agree with all the high praise given these shoes.

Love these. I have really narrow heels but need a wide enough toe box. I have struggled for years to find a running show with a cushiony sole that doesn’t slip on my heels. Finally found one!

This shoe is like running on marshmallows. No fatigue after an 8 mile long run, definitely felt my legs could go longer. My only issue is that 10 is just a bit too small and the 10.5 is more like a full size larger and increased not only the length of the shoe, but the entire shoe (width, height, fabric use included) so my feet slide around too much in them. Thankfully in the smaller size the upper is mesh and allows my slightly cramped toes to move around enough not to feel too squished. This is my first pair of NB after being a Brooks loyalist for decades.

My first super high cushion, carbon plate shoe. Felt odd at first, but more stable than I expected. A bit heavy, but my legs stay feeling really fresh, even on longer runs, and recover really well.

I was literally at the end of a running hobby of several decades. I had tried shoes from nearly every brand. Knees and feet continued to hurt. Love these! My lower body is reborn.

My husband has wanted me to try New Balance. I've always been partial to another brand. Finally I tried these and OMG I love them. I recommend sizing up a half size. But these and you you won't be disappointed
