Got these for trail walking and I love them. Just as comfy as my Brooks, but with better soles for gravel and roots. I wear size 8 medium 99% of the time. This shoe runs narrow in the toe box so I ended up with 8 wide. My heel slipped a tiny bit, but that was easily fixed by using the very last lacing hole (the one that almost no one ever uses). 10/10 Perfection! Yellow/golden color is really a fun neutral.

The show is great to look at, but terribly uncomfortable. I have been trying to break them in all week and they rub on the the backs of my heels and up my ankle. There is zero heel support so your socks rub to the pint they are painful and it will tear holes in your sock heel. They run narrow, which is good "support" and hugs your foot, but you cant wear a standard hiking sock with them, no way! Waste of money and I love NB shoes and they are all I buy, but this isn't it.

As with all New Balances... I had to buy insoles because I have high arches and New Balance does not deliver in that department. Using as a hiking sneaker. I just took these to a quick trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and they worked perfect. Great grip, no blisters. Had to adjust the way I tied them because my toes were going numb, but fine after adjusting. Get a bunch of compliments when I wear them.

I wear 7-7.5 in shoes, usually 8 in sneakers. Needed 8.5 in these - the 8 brought my toe to the edge. I have a high arch, using arch support in the sneaker. Color is fun. "All terrain" sole took a day to get used to, but fine now.

Great choice, beautiful and comfortable

These were so cute, I wish they would have worked. The wide was not wide enough in the toe box, but great looking shoe in the Timberwolf.

I walk a lot at work so I was looking for a more supportive shoe especially around the ankle. After wearing them for 2 days I wish I could return them but I threw away the box. They fill stiff and much more bulky compared to all my other shoes. I also had to get a half size bigger.

These were a step down from the previous model of Hierro v6 I was hoping to replace. Fabric too thin, squeaky, and material of the foam different and not giving the support and soft feeling of the previous pair. Had to return and look for a different brand.

I have struggled finding shoes that are both stylish and offer support, but I am pleased to say that these shoes have hit both marks and then some! The feet, knee and hip pain I used to deal with have been significantly reduced and I think it's directly due to these shoes. I love them so much, I am buying spares! They've held up beautifully and been easy to keep clean.

Possibly the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I wear them for walking in my neighborhood as well as trail hiking. I clock lots of miles. Love these. Just bought a second pair.

These shoes are super cute and fit great. There are no annoying seams to rub on your feet and they are very comfortable with a super grippy sole. They would be good for trail running, at the gym, or knocking around town. I wear a 8M and have kind of a wide foot so I tried the wide and they are perfect. I was worried they might be too wide and have me swimming around but they don't at all and my pinky toes thank me. I might have to move to New Balance permanently for their large selection of wide shoes. Finally a wide shoe that is cute!

This has been a good walking shoe. The shoe has lots of sole, so good for wet weather but not great for running.

FINALLY a shoe that fits! The wide is perfect. None of my toes hit the front of the shoe. No heel slip. One of the best shoes I've ordered right out of the box. :)

These were a bit too narrow for me and they came up too high around my ankle, especially in the back. I also went up a half size for proper length.

Super cute and comfortable to stand on but the outer side hits too high and rubs my ankle. Had to send back. I don’t have this problem with the Fresh Foam X More v4, which I love.

Shoes are large and wide

The shoes were very uncomfortable. Tried replacing the insert and it did not help the support or comfort.

I found these shoes uncomfortable around the ankle area as they rode up too high and rubbed against my skin. Even ankle socks didn't provide any relief. Although I hardly wore them, I noticed that they started falling apart at the stitching after just two wears. Unfortunately, I'm unable to return them as I've already wore them. If you do decide to buy these shoes, I recommend purchasing them directly from the New Balance site so that you can manage any quality issues with them. In my experience, Zappos doesn't seem to care much about defective products.
