As with most of these "fresh foam" shoes, they run short. When you wear an 11, you don't exactly get to size up a half! These shoes are very thin in the material on the top. They call it "breathable", and I call it "cheaply made". My toe would have poked through in about a week or less. The color was spectacular, and I swear I almost kept them just because of that, but I'm too old to keep "pretty" shoes that aren't functional! I also wear a wide, and I will say the wide part they got right. The toe box is ample in the width, just not the height. They did easily accept my own shoe inserts, so if they'd only been a true 11w, I'd have kept them. If you wear a regular width and a smaller size, half size it up and you'll be fine. But don't expect the shoe to be long-wearing with the thin top.

Very frustrated, Have loved New Balance for years, but these arrived and were too small. Will try next size up, but may need to change my work shoes to a new brand. New Balance needs to quit changing the way they make their shoes and keep their sizes true.

Running and walking. Love the comfort however did not last more than 2 months. Completely worn on bottom under toe on ball if feet. Terrible. I don't feel they should have deteriorated that quickly.

I have a serious bunion on one foot, and my feet have gotten even wider after two kids and nearing 40. I spent a lot of time and effort trying to find sneakers that accommodate my tired feet. Hokas, Altra, Brooks -- none, even in "wide" versions worked especially against my bunion. New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v12 in WIDE Is the only brand that worked from the get-go. I tried the Extra Wide, too, but then my feet swam too much in the shoes. Thank you New Balance for making sneakers that fit my sad feet! Thank you Zappos for your amazing refund policy!

Comfortable but not a true 2E/WW. Much too tight around toes. Had to return :(

So a few things why I Looooove these shoes 1 - the color omg I love this yellow and want to get the red too. 2- the fit I'm a 9 1/2 women's I got 10 I always go up half size in my runners I usually need wide but got the standard as these have a wider toe boxe. 3- so so so comfortable not to much cushion just enough. No heel slip and has the heel lock lace hole which is great for my long runs but I haven't needed it yet no slipping. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and it has not flared up at all. I ran I 5k two days after I got them and they felt great, i also run 3x a week or more and im traing for my 3rd half marathon. I'm also a PSW and wear them for work and my feet never hurt at the end of the day. A must must have for avid runners love my 880sv12 so much.

These shoes fit great. I have small bony feet with tiny heels but wide metatarsal base, and a bunion/hammer toes on one foot. These are literally the only fabric sneakers that size properly and fit great right out of the box. My only complaint is that the shoelaces are now shorter and I had to unlace one eyelet down in order to have enough shoelace length to double knot my laces (otherwise they come loose during cardio).

I've run 2 marathons on NB880s and the V12 are just as good as my previous pairs. Take the time to get yourself professionally fitted if you're a runner aiming for anything more than the casual jog. It makes all the difference. I've tried both he 880 and the 1080s. The 1080s have more cushion & stability - but are noticeably heavier and have a more narrow toe box. For me, the 880s have just enough cushion to log long miles, but feel more secure around my ankle - and yes they running a little wide, which is good if your feet swell after 6+ miles. I normally wear an 8 in most shoes. I buy a 9 in these and that's perfect for me. They are true to size, but I deliberately buy a size up to allow for swell. They don't feel loose -- just right.

I have a hard time finding pink comfortable sneakers in my size. New Balance is always there for me! I love the fit and comfort and the bright pink is a great bonus.

I have a very wide foot and high instep. These shoes fit perfectly. I love the colour and contrast colour. I wish they had a little more cushion. I'm a nurse and am on my feet all day. I recommend these shoes if you have wide feet.

These were way too small and the toe box was small too. I switched to the Fuelcell Prism v2 a half size larger than my size and LOVE those.

I have the men's version of this shoe, and it's been great. I purchased the women's version for my wife because her old sneakers were worn out, and I'd had a good experience with mine. Unfortunately, the quality of the women's version is nowhere near what the men's version is. The outsole on the men's version is rubber along the entirety of the shoe. The outsole on the women's version is rubber on the toes and the very end of the heel. The rest is foam. Which means that the outsole under the ball of your foot, where a huge amount of friction and weight are concentrated, is foam. My wife has worn through over half of the outsole thickness under the ball of the foot on both shoes in less than two months, while only using the shoes to walk our dog 1-2 miles per day. Her last pair of shoes from a competitor lasted over a year. Absolutely unacceptable quality for a shoe from a big-name brand that costs over $100.

I always order my walking shoes a half size larger to allow for my feet to expand. The left shoe was too short. My big toe was pressing on the end of the shoe. Also, I have narrow feet and the narrow was too tight, again, only with the left shoe. I liked the look and the cushioning of the sole felt great but as we all know the pain of a shoe too short or too tight is a return.

These are the only shoes I have found that are comfortable for me to jog in! I prefer bright colors, but I got a deal on these boring black ones. That is the only thing that I'm not 100% satisfied with.

Great comfortable shoe! I've worn them now for a week and they feel great. I mainly do group fitness and walk in them. Would highly recommend. I got a half size bigger bc of the reviews saying they run small and it was perfect. You should buy them.

So not wanting to believe my feet measure a wide width, I purchased a regular and - lo and behold - the wide was more comfortable! Now own 2 pairs of these shoes. Very very comfortable! Slight variations with fit between colors so see what works for you. Highly recommended for long-term comfort and short-term gym/walking wear!
