I have planters fasciitis and there is only a few shoes I can wear. This is one of them ! If you have or had this condition you know this review means a lot to me.

I have always loved New Balance Shoes, but the older I get the more I use slip on type shoes but I still want the heel to fit securely. I have several other pairs from Schetchers, APL, and Olikau. Ranging in price fro $59.00 to $380.00 (APL) but these top them all. They are not as easy to slip on as some of the others but they fit much more securely and are much more comfortable. These are the only ones I will use in the future.

Really no other running shoe brands are making this quality of a slip-on runner; the low profile aesthetic, weight, and comfort are simply unparalleled. The laceless option simplifies the silhouette, making them stylish enough to wear out, while remaining functional enough to put serious miles on training. New Balance, if you're reading this, PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THESE, I REPEAT, PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE!! Thank you !!

I am facing a full ankle replacement and need excellent shoes in order to walk without pain. These shoes are magnificent for that purpose and, when paired with appropriate inserts, they allow me to walk normally and nearly pain free. Because of their comfort I am able to delay the full ankle replacement surgery and manage the pain within tolerable limits. They are a Godsend and I would strongly recommend them for this specialized purpose. If I were still able to run, I have little doubt that they would be excellent for that purpose as well. As it is I'm still able to walk a couple of miles a day with a bad ankle on one leg and a bad knee on the other.

These shoes were purchased for my tween son. He loved the fit and style. However, in one week they already had a hole worn in the fabric on the side of the shoe next to his toes. Unfortunately, these shoes don't last.

I've owned these for over a year and they are probably my favorite shoe ever. I went to order new ones and of course New Balance decided to discontinue them for reasons unknown. New Balance had been my go to brand most of my adult life but they have definitely gone downhill big time recently. They used to focus on support and comfort, especially for people like me who need a 4E but now it seems like they're only concerned about style. Time to move on!

I swear, THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I EVER OWNED!! I wish they stopped making them. I have buying as many as I can. Like slippers with support. I am not a runner. I am a walker. I swear by these shoes.

I was surprised at how much I liked this shoe! It's great for walking and for around the house, easy to slip on but it doesn't slip off.Liked the aesthetics and the weight of the shoe as well!

Style? Whatever. They’re super easy to get on and off. They’re REALLY comfortable. Like don’t know you have them on comfortable. I have bad feet, bad knees and had a spinal fusion a few years ago. I like these shoes and I bet you’d like them as well.

There’s almost always at least one pair of New Balance in my closet. Their shoes are comfortable, sizing is consistent, and they still make some models in the U.S. (although not this particular shoe). I picked this model because of the convenience of a “slip-on” design. As others have mentioned, the fit around the ankle is snug; so I can’t just slip my foot into it like a slipper, I have to actively put it on.

I was pleasantly surprised by these shoes! I needed a replacement for my existing 840's and saw these and thought I'd give them a try. While they are not "step in" shoes, they are a lot easier to deal with than laced shoes. They are light, comfortable, and I like how they look! I would definitely get them again!

Overall, this is a great slip on shoe. I was looking for a post-run recovery shoe for around the house or work, preferably slip-on since I usually take my shoes off when working at my desk. The Hoka Ora sandals are awesome, but their Ora shoe had a defect, so the search was back on. I'm really happy with the 1080 Unlaced. The only drawback is that they are not very breathable and run a little warm, but it's nothing too bad.
I'm very happy with this purchase.

My son loves these. Perfect slip-on casual athletic shoe. The top is made of a stiff mesh material that is breathable and doesn’t leave him with sweaty feet. The insoles might need replaced, they don’t feel like moderate arch support, more like light arch support. The sole is very springy, with an easy bend when walking. They are very lightweight and well made. The tab on the top does not dig into his ankle (he has high arches, some shoes do this). The ankle tab in the back is comfortable and not noticeable at all, with grippy strips on the inside to keep the shoe from slipping off.

The fit was true to size with a tad extra room super soft flexible and very comfortable out of the box I walked an hour and a half no problem
