I had a problem with a pair of Sperry shoes that the rubber soles had hardened and lost their grip which made them slippery. I contacted customer service and explained the issue with them. They suggested to take pictures and document the problem and send it to them. After reviewing, they agreed and issued a credit to get a new pair, which I did and are very happy.

Impressive! I recently bought two pairs of Sperry shoes, the sneaker and the classic boat shoe. My tennis shoes went missing and for a whim I checked Sperry and discovered that the harbormaster might fit the bill. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but like the other shoes; they worked perfectly for what I needed. They are a great sports shoe.

These are great shoes they actually work on the water -no slipping. They are light and dry quickly. The soles are white so no streaks on my friend's new deck. The Sperry sole is still the best.

Most comfortable Sperrys that I've owned. Like them more than topsiders for the summer. Good that they put a traditional eye in the last lace hole instead of the "string eyes" all the way up. First pair I had which only had "string eyes" came apart the first time I tied them. Newer version doesn't have this problem. Would definitely buy again if the sole holds up which has been a problem on a couple of pairs of Sperrys I've had in recent years. Hopefully they've come up with a better sole that doesn't crumble over time. Original topsiders certainly never had that problem.

I bought the navy color two months ago. to replace a 4 year old pair that weathered all ! durable construction that should last a long time & good looking. ventilation not as efficient as my prior pair but very satisfied with quality that you would expect from a Sperry product.

Very cool-looking sneakers that are true to size and super comfortable. I ordered my usual 9.5 and they fit perfectly. Normally, my feet tire very easily...but that's not the case when wearing these sneakers. These are sporty & comfortable without looking like typical "Dad Shoes."

Comfortable shoe and is nice looking, too! Fit is true to size. I use them for when I'm out on the boat fishing, but are definitely nice enough to wear anywhere casually.

A good boat shoe with nice cushioning and support. Not thrilled with the pattern stamped on the insole which feels odd without socks. Time will tell if they last well.

Bought a pair in Grey. They're really comfortable, immpressive, and worthwhile overall. I have no regrets having purchased these at full price (something I did thinking these were extremely limited edition). Speaking in terms of perspiration, my feet seem to stay much drier in these shoes vs other brands. (no need for the Thai Crystal Spray for perspiration). While I can't vouch for boating traction or for these being waterproof? I've spent the last week moving lawn sprinklers around wearing these shoes. And they do dry off fast when they get wet. Especially if you slip them off for an hour or so to let them dry. They don't offer these in Wide Sizes. But I wear an EE or EEE and ... For the time being, these seem to fit well enough without feeling like my foot is in a vice. MY ONLY COMPLAINT on the Grey's is what I find to be a detailing glitch. The black line details around the top / above the toes make the Grey's look like geriatric aide shoes minus the velcro staps. The rear red straps look GREAT when you wear shorts / when people can see the straps.

Poor SupportGreat Support
I like the construction because it provides good lateral support that is missing with other boat shoe designs. When you are on a boat, you don't want your footing to be compromised because your foot is coming out of your shoe. The finish is pretty good except for the misalignment of the trim around the toe. See pic.

Great comfort, support, and hold on wet decks. Recently wore the predecessor model on an ocean race from which we had to retire and motor home 100 nm, much of which directly into a 30 kt front. Watches were taken standing under a skimpy dodger and holding on for dear life while the boat bucked like a carnival ride. I was happy up to the ankles. Left the shoes on the boat by mistake and let the owner trash them. This pair feels identical, but I'm a bit worried about the substantialness of the little loops the laces go through. They also don't look as good, a minor point.

Comfy shoes, which have excellent slip resistance on boat. But the orange foot pad bleeds horribly onto socks when even a little wet. This should not happen in shoes designed for use on a boat. I plan to put in a different foot pad insert. There should be a recall by Sperry.

Wish you hadn't stopped making it's predecessor. It was light, stylish, great grip on deck and could be laced tight. While this sneaker has a look,it's way too wide and for my feet does not give the confidence needed for a wet deck.
