This is what I bought for our 2-day backpacking trip in Colorado and after breaking it in for a few days, I went on my trip and was amazed! We did a 9mile hike to Skypond, then the next day went on an 18-mile 2-day backpacking trip. I did not feel any pain or get any blisters. The grip, waterproofness, and stability is amazing. I felt that the water came inside once or twice but after a few min, I felt dry on my feet. This is definitely worth buying. I'll be taking these shoes to the Inca Trail!

I wore these boots twice to work to break-in before their first hike, a winter hike in the Adirondacks high peaks. During the first 2 miles of my hike I crossed a river, slipped on an icy rock & got both feet soaked!! It's 15F, I'm thinking I'm screwedI changed my wool socks & continued onward. My feet felt comfortable the rest of the hike after all the water drained. No pinching, no blisters, no sock bunching, my feet weren't cold!!! WHAT?! The entire hike was 11.7 miles, in winter. 9 of those miles after getting both boots drenched. Amazing. I love these boots. So comfortable.

Wanted a waterproof and comfortable hiking boot and these fit the specs and are a great pair of boots. Have worn on long hikes in muddy water and great results.

I bought these hiking boots the fall of 2020. I loved the fit and comfort , however they are not waterproof. So frustrating I previously had Keen hikers for years and NEVER had a problem with wet feet. So disappointing

Brought out for first day hike and it turned into a very wet, snowy day. These boots did well no letting wayer in, and no blisters! I'm normally a 6.5 women's in my gym shoes and find 6.5 in these are perfect with room for sock layers. Laces came undone a bunch but I'm planning on replacing with better laces.

Hiked 1000km of the Bruce trail in my first pair. Walked over 1000km with my golden lab in my second pair. And although not completely worn out ordered my 3rd pair - same boots. They can't be beat.

I got these boots a month ago, and they've been everything I expected from Saloman. Because I'm one my feet over 10 hours a day at the shop, comfort is everything. So far, I'm very happy with how the boots are performing. The fit is great, and the boots are light and not big and bulky. I expect great things from these boots on my spring turkey hunts in a few weeks.

These hiking boots hold your ankle in place on tough terrain - the grip on sole is exactly what I would expect from Salomon. I purchased 2 pair once I tried them - I wanted to make sure I would have the 2nd pair available.

I have problem feet, but this show is so comfortable and supportive. It's also very attractive.

Love these Boots. I have worn X Ultra hikers for a few years now..But this is the first time I tried the Boot. LOVE them.. they hug the ankle and the grip is great for hike the rocky coast of NH and Maine. Liked them so much - I have already bought my 2nd pair before they are hard to find. Haven't taken them off for 3 solid weeks in NH winter months. Comfortable and grippy!!

My wife loves the hiking boots I got her for Christmas. They are lite weight, perfect fit and very comfortable.

Shoes are light, warm and non-slippery. I like them!

I was 36 miles into an 120 mile endurance event when my feet were not happy with my shoes so I switched out to these and ended up wearing them the rest of the event! Over 130 miles on them now in less than two months and they are holding up great and so lightweight!

I've used these boots on a couple different hikes and can only say good things about them. I love how lightweight they are but also very supportive! Really comfortable too and I've had no issues breaking them in.

I own several pair of Solomon, hiking boots and sneakers. Solomon never fails to deliver a comfortable right out of the box boots, or shoes. Same with these X ultra. Out of the box. I put them in and went for a hike and again the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

I bought these for a Christmas present. They were worn the next day on a hike to Enchanted Rock. They loved the shoes!

Got them just in time for a non-snowy January!! A great option for in between weather.

I like the shoes, great for hiking and on the trails. They actually do keep the water out, tried winter hikes with them, great traction, good grip and keeps your feet dry. Didn't take much time to break into the shoes but had blisters the first few times after a long hike on the toe. Overall good and light weight, like that about it. The shoes laces could be thinner/ flatter and longer.
