These shoes are really comfy, and they are super cute. My one quibble is with the laces - they are stiff and slippery, meaning that even double knots sometimes come untied, and the loops stick out from the top of the shoe they are so stiff! I wish they came with regular laces that would stay tied!

I bought these about a month ago to replace my Outlines, which I've been wearing religiously since they were released. I went through 10 pairs hiking 50-60 miles a week in them. Sometimes more in the summer. After they were discontinued I figured I'd try these. Like the previous reviewer stated, the laces are a bit slippery. However I've noticed after a month of break in, and double lacing they seem to do okay staying put. I just tie them really tight. The overall quality of these shoes seems good. I haven't worn them in the rain yet. It's been dry here in Washington, so I'm curious to see how the gortex holds up. They are a bit stiff and the cushion seems to be breaking down quickly in the toe box and heel. I also have developed a problem with my right Achilles, that only flares when I wear these shoes. Would I recommend them. Mmmmm, depends on how much you hike. Maybe more for flat surfaces. Will I be buying another pair. Nope.

I love them, super comfy. Glad I got them. I got them a little bit bigger but they are fine, I can wear them with bigger house.

I had chosen the shoe do to the comfort/cushion level. Unfortunately the padding/cushion was only on the bottom of the shoe and not around the entire shoe, The top and sides are thin and not padded/cushioned, making them not as comfortable as desired. The top of the heel of the shoe is too high and pushes into the back of my Achilles tendon making the shoes painful to wear.
