I can't believe it: I have had them less than 3 months and both shoes are leaking water. I don't know what has changed at Salomon but this is the second model of shoe that is Gore-Tex and leaks after very little wear. I've been buying Salomon shoes and boots for years and used to advise customers how awesome they are (I used to work in a couple big hiking stores) but I would never recommend them nowadays.

I purchased these shoes for use in a multitude of outdoor activities. They look great, are waterproof and very cushioned and comfortable. I washed my SUV in them today and my feet stayed dry. Highly recommend. They run generous in size.

These hiking shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I replaced Salomon hiking shoes I loved. I love these even more because they are comfortable, light weight and attractive. I wear them hiking and mountain bike riding. I highly recommend them. The fit is perfect. I especially like the toe box because they don't hurt my toes. The heel box is stable without rubbing.

Love these shoes replacing a previous pair that wore well for long walks and everyday use.

Bought these for sometimes soggy trails in my neighbourhood and I've been really impressed. They didn't need any breaking in, were comfortable on my first 6km, and have kept my feet dry! The high back at the heel offers some good protection and the toe box is generous.

I am really enjoying my new pair of Saloman runners. I would highly recommend. I wanted Gortex as I believe in that product. The toe box is nuce and roomy.The only thing I would correct on the shoe is to have a pull on loop at the heel rather than a tab. Keep up the good work.

Purchased these without Gore-Tex which proved to be a mistake... our weather is much too wet for a shoe that isn't water resistant. Love this shoe for its stability. The wider heel gives lateral support I didn't get in the trail running shoe, the lugs shed mud and debris easily, and the sole has a nice grip without being "sticky."

I have only had these for 2 weeks but have worn them on 3 soggy trail hikes and a few street walks so far and they have been great for both. I usually wear a women's size 8 or 8 1/2 so I ordered a size 8 given reviews. When I took them out of the box I thought they looked big but actually, they fit perfectly. They have been comfortable right off the bat with no breaking-in needed. I am known to be a bit clumsy on the trails but the tread on these are good and they feel sturdy even when it is wet. I am so far very happy with these shoes, I hope they hold up well, and getting them on sale was a bonus.

Just ordered my second pair. Adaptable, light, and with enough protection to keep the water and cactus out.

Shoes are always a problem for me as I have a narrow heel and skinny feet but need a decently wide toe box.I am between a 71/2 and an 8. I also find a lot of shoes bump against my ankle bone to the point of bruising. Or the arch is too high or lands wrong I am happy to say these, with medium weight socks, are as perfect a fit as I've ever had. I purchased a size 8

I received my shoes for Christmas and love them. The shoes never hurt my feet and feel like a slippers when on. The Outpulse was very good on the icy conditions and kept my feet dry after walking through snowy fields. The shoe fits true to size and I have recommended them to my daughter. Thanks Salomon for making great product.
