I have been looking for a good pair of RUNNING shoes for a while and I am 100% satisfied with these. I am 6 feet, 170 pounds and I do run fast (5 km under 21 minutes). I also have small but wide feet (size 8). I had a serious injury last year to my achilles tendon so I also needed shoes with good support. The Phantasm shoes meet all these critierias and are just awesome. Quick note: these shoes are really made for RUNNING. The shape of it makes them perfect to run. But I would not wear them for aerobic sports.

I'm a valet at the ritz Carlton Tahoe and log a lot of miles running on pavement. The heel cushion and the rocker on the shoe make running effortless. No pounding sensation in the heel and the shoe literally propels you into the next stride. Super light weight as well. 8 hours shifts of running are no problem now. I've gone thru a lot of Salomon shoes at this job and none compare to the phantasm!!

I bought theses bad boys when they were at 50% and they are the best shoes I ever had for the price. Feel super smooth and they run fast.

Comfort and performance They are very food looking too!

Very comfortable running shows, lightweight, comfortable, also provides very good grip and suspension.

I bought this phantasm hoping to solve my feet issues (faciitis), and it did solve my problem. I didn't feel the pain in my feet running using this shoes. Only the color of my issue since I need a black color for my reefing. Above all, this shoes is great.

The Phantasm is a shoe with a lot of different road applications. It's worked great for me as an everyday easy run show, but also has enough life in it to pick up the pace and go long. If I'm not sure exactly what a particular run will bring, the Phantasm is always a safe choice.

Once broken in they are a perfect running shoe. The only tip I have is to shorten the laces by about 6 inches and use all the lace loops up top to get a really secure lock in. Love it. Dream shoe.

Super comfortable and supportive. Fantastic to wear and walk in!

Upgraded from the Glide Max to run faster and it did not disapoint. Beat my PB on the first run. I love the flow, cushioning feels good too.

I bought these shoes and could not be more content, with their performance. As well, I have many Salomon shoes, so it was no surprise, that I would be satisfied!

a road shoe that holds my foot like an S/lab trail shoe! that detail alone is everything (for me). as a trail runner more than a road runner, road shoes have always felt very unstable and loose. this shoe actually holds my foot in place! i love it. best part, it makes me run fast. this shoes just wants to go, it doesn't care if you're trying to take it easy, it wants to go! super comfortable and light.

I bought this shoe and could not be happier, with the overall comfort and ride they provide!

I first saw these in a preview YouTube video in the winter and have been interested since then. Shoes with a rocker (I think Salomon has its own marketing name for it) have always worked well for me. I have 120 miles on my pair and am blown away by the shoes. They are light, smooth, and stable. I have a wider foot and the toe box is very accommodating. The whole shoe seems to be of high quality it is clearly a carefully engineered piece of running equipment, not a shoe designed to do double duty in casual wear. There is a crowded field at this price point of performance trainers. The Phantasm is my current favorite of all offerings. The only negative is that the shoe laces are comically long. No idea what they were thinking there. Just triple knot them and enjoy!

I did my first long run in the Phantasm today up on Rollinsville road in Boulder Colorado. I love these shoes so much. They are my favorite road shoe so far. The foam and the stack height are perfect not too much not too little. I can feel the pop and the glide. I love how comfortable they are but also how fast. I think they are a perfect long run or marathon. they may be better in my opinion than the Phantasm CF, perhaps a mix with the aggressiveness of the Phantasm CF and the Phantasm would add up to be the perfect road racing she in the future. The size runs a little big for men's 11.5. All in all I love these shoes so much.

This shoe felt amazing for the short period I had with it, unfortunatly I had ordered a size too big and they have run out of the size I need. shoe was stuff and returned alot of energy when running

I've been running in these for about two months now and I love them! They're super light, cushiony, breathable, and have the perfect rocker for that next step. Be sure to wear high socks thoughthe tongue can rub.

I love the energy blades but the heel counter is not well thought of. There's heel slippage and the toe box is too snug.

It's fast but there's heel slippage and too snug. It's hurting the lateral side of my toes.

Laces way too long, Can't get tongue flat, rubber trim is horrible. Blister on first 5k run. I've run 100 miles in my speed cross without a blister. Once I changes laces, cut the tongue anchor and trimmed the rubber border off the tongue they are OK. The designer of these should lose their position at Salomon.

im happy with the purchase but if you pronate inwards or have wide feet this is probably not the shoe for you it took me about 20 km to break in the shoe and had pretty bad blisters at the start, that aside they are holding up ok, dont have the most cushion, meening it is more of a race day shoe or if you are not running everyday, i would highley reccomend the salomon aero glide over this shoe

-laces are way too long -there is a blister causing area where the matrix fabric creates creases that saw away at your toe -I would personally love this shoe without the energy blade or at least make the energy blade 1/3 the stiffness for more comfortable daily miles. ------------------ Other than those things, I think it is a fantastic shoe. I Thought long and hard before purchasing these over competitors and opted for these because I am a huge fan of minimal uppers and heel counters.

Love Salomon's but the show laces were my main issue . The laces were to long and they kept on unraveling no matter how tight there were. You can't enjoy a shoe that won't stay on.
