Nice jacket, very crinkly but hopefully water proof. Fits nicely, not baggy but room for a light down jacket underneath. The only downside is the lack of a double zipper and the zipper seems cheap. Hope it holds up.

It's amazingly waterproof, but the fabric is kind of stiff. Lots of pockets, long enough to cover my bum. No way to shorten the hood so the visor doesn't fall in my eyes. Needs more reflectivity, such as stripes or spots, as the color is hard to see in dusk or dark.

I really like this jacket. It's waterproof, fits well and is a nice color. My one complaint is that it doesn't unzip from the bottom, so I feel a bit constricted when I bend or sit.

I love the longer length in the back to protect my backside. The green is a great color combination. Adjustable hood closure really helps when it is windy. Also love the stiff brim over the face area to shelter one's eyes. My only frustration is it doesn't come in Women's (Plus) sizes. Had a leg injury and put on weight, my old jacket doesn't fit. I wanted to buy a replacement but this jacket but didn't come in a larger size! Please consider offering larger sizes. Very disappointed.

I waited almost 6 months to get thid back ordered item so had high expectation when it was received. It is well made, but is too small to wear over a heavy sweater or polartec. My old LLBean rain jacket had a much looser fit. (I wish I hadn't given it away) The fitted style is not practical for cooler outdoor activities (cooler in the sense you need to wear a warm layer under the jacket). I am returning this and hope to find a jacket with a more generous fit through the chest and hips.

I've been looking and waiting for a long time for this jacket: waterproof, windproof and lots of pockets. This jacket would be absolutely perfect if it was reflective in some way.

Haven't tested it's rain worthyness yet. The sleeves are very long but I knew that going into it as it isn't a petite size. I can wear it over a light LLBean primaloft jacket. The best deal I could find for a Goretex shell

Great jacket but wish it had 2-way zipper and that the collar would fold down.

I would like to have this goretex jacket. Unfortunately, it comes just in regular and plus sizes. Please make petite size. Take you LL Bean to take this request in consideration.

I have been looking for a goretex unlined jacket with under arm zippers. This was going to be the one. However the fabric is incredibly noisy and stiff. I am also disappointed that the zipper can't be unzipped from the bottom.

Nicely made, but no 2-way zipper and made for a slender figure.

There is absolutely no lining, just waterproofing material. The jacket does keep me dry, but there is no softness to the interior. It actually makes noise as I move in it. This is an expensive jacket, yet my older Bean 3/4 raincoat is much more comfortable, and still looks and feels comfortable and is waterproof.

Medium too tight, didn't like the pockets, didn't like how crunchy and noisy it was.

Like the appearance of this jacket but unhappy with the noisy rustle the fabric makes as well as its stiffness. Do not yet know how waterproof it is. My husband has an old Bean's gortex raincoat with fabric that is soft and quiet and it's waterproof.

Trying to update my well-worn GoreTex StowAway shell jacket. This Pathfinder has nice length/coverage, but the material is heavier and much stiffer than my old StowAway. Size Medium seems to run big. Cannot fold the hood away. No flap over the main zipper. Sorry LLBean, it is going back. Please bring back the StowAway jacket.

This jacket fits true to size and looks nice; however, it feels like plastic, makes too much noise when wearing it and is not nearly as nice or well made as L.L.Bean's Gore-Tex jackets of the past.

This is my second gore-tex rain jacket from Bean.
The first one is at least seven or eight years old. I decided to order a new one and leave that one at our summer home.
My original jacket is softer material, the hood fits better, and the sleeves are elastic with Velcro pieces attached to make a tighter fit.
This new jacket will work, but I am a little disappointed in the quality.
I am not sure Bean's quality is as good as it once was.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Material was very stiff. Neckline would not stay down and poked into my neck.

This jacket was way too large. I'm 5'3", 105lbs. Size recommended was S, I went with XS. Sleeves reached the tip of my fingers, hood fell over my nose. Body stood away from my torso like a tent. I don't know how well it would have worked in the rain; if it had fit correctly, I still would have returned it because I was looking for something I could use for working outside in hot weather in the rain, and I think this is geared more toward cool weather, or at least more sedentary activities. Thick, kind of plasticky feel. I've worn out my h2off rain parka after 20+ years, I was looking for something to replace it. This isn't it. It does seem to be well-constructed.

Nice quality jacket, but the xl was not a great fit for me. Please make this jacket available in plus size!

The redeeming feature is its Gortex fabric. This jacket apparently is the replacement for a jacket LL Bean offered when I purchased in 2014, but no longer availablesadly. The replacement has a much thinner fabric, only a one-way zipper, and no zippered openings under the arms like the former version. Yet, the cost is similar (>$200). The older model was effective against temperatures < 30 degreesthis one with the same under layers doesn't come close to retaining body heat in similar temperatures. I will keep this product but only because it repels rain. I am disappointed that LL Bean would sacrifice the quality it is noted for in replacing products that truly measured up to features advertised. If you do purchase, just know that this product does not have the original high quality features.

Loved the color - spruce pine/dark pine - but my normal size of large did not fit the way my current L.L.Bean large does. To tight across the shoulders/chest and hips. A two way zipper would have fixed the hip width issue but the shoulder/chest sizing is not consistent of a typical women's L.L.Bean regular large jacket. The whole fit was to straight for a women's jacket. The sleeves were also a tad long (like a women's tall) but I tend to not mind a longish sleeve.

This is a beautifully constructed jacket. The color is just gorgeous. However, I wanted a softer jacket that didn't "rustle" when I moved. I was looking for a more fluid, move-with-me jacket. Please give this one a try. May suit your tastes just fine!

For the cost, should have up/down zipper and quick close Velcro patches alongside zipper.
The large fits as a good medium with sweater underneath although sleeves remain large/long.
Initial purchase of medium did not allow for sweater layer underneath.

Consider a flap with snaps in addition to the zipper and some elastic at the cuff. For a tighter fit
